Hotel a 2 stelle in Maine, Stati Uniti d'America

We just came back from our 4 nights stay. The Inn looked clean and offered a good breakfast, although in a different building. That is pretty much it. Our stay was not the most pleasant though. We booked a room for 3 people (we were traveling with our teenage kid) and at the time of booking I specified that I needed a room large enough for three people and an additional bed for our son. I called the Inn twice in the week prior to our arrival to make sure we had the room we needed and to let them know that we were arriving late in the evening. We arrived on Thursday night at 9 pm to find out that the room we were given was incredibly small and there was no place for an additional bed. The receptionist, a foreign student, called the manager who told her to add a cot to the already small room. We asked for another room and we were offered a room on the third story that was identical to the one we were given but with an awful smell and we declined it. The receptionist told us to either take the room we were assigned or leave. Little caveat, we had already prepaid a non refundable rate and at this time of the year there are no rooms available on Old Orchard Beach without a reservation. The receptionist did not seem to understand the conundrum of the prepaid non refundable stay and did not want to call the manager a second time to try to help us out. We did not want to lose the money we had already disbursed for our vacation so we had no choice but to take the room we were given, move the furniture around to fit a cot bed between our bed and a bureau (which then we could not use because his bed was right against the drawers). Every night we had to move all the luggage against the door to have enough space for the three of us to get to the tiniest bathroom you can think of (a closet repurposed as a bathroom). I do not understand why they accepted the reservation and ended up messing up with our vacation. They could have rejected the reservation saying that they did not have a room for us and I would have booked a room somewhere else. This small room could have worked for a couple but did not work for a family. The room service is offered every other day which meant leaving wet towels from 3 people's showers on the bathroom for an entire day. On one day, I asked for a garbage bag and put the wet towels outside the floor for someone to pick up. Same for the garbage. They sat there in the hallway until the next day. How do they expect people to shower every day, without a change of towels, especially after spending a day at the beach? There are a lot of things that could have been done better. We have been at OOB several times and other motels offer a much better service. I think there is a lot of potential but they need better management. Will not stay there again.

Molto bel posto pulito. Belle persone e vicino al cibo e alle strade

Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera di allegato e il nostro gruppo ha soggiornato in due camere. -molto pulito e nuovo!La camera è pulita e spaziosa e il letto è comodo! Il bagno è piccolo ma molto pulito!Abbiamo dormito molto bene! Il colazione era preso e andato bene per i camminatori! Abbiamo lavastoviglie e piscina all'interno. Non abbiamo usato la piscina, ma sembrava grande e pulito. Non abbiamo usato molto servizio, ma il personale al di fuori del dipartimento era bello quando ci chiedevamo. L’unica cosa è che una delle camere ha un odore di una nuova stanza rinnovata - fortunatamente abbiamo comprato una borsa e non abbiamo soggiornato molto in camera, così è stato accettabile. L’altra stanza era però senza odore! Dipendente da quale stanza che tu stai pensando. C'è un Walmart vicino e il Tesla supercarta, tuttavia, la strada è un modo di strada davanti all'hotel e circa 40 minuti di guida al Parco Nazionale Acada così non molto conveniente ma siamo molto grati per l'ultimo minuto di prenotazione d/t L'intera esperienza di soggiorno è buona e consiglio a chiunque vuole stare in un pulito e bel Inn- la stanza che abbiamo soggiornato sicuramente meglio di una stanza a motel!!

La camera da letto doppia è stata prenota per una suite doppia. È molto grande. Passare una strada è l'hotel vacanze (prezioso), dove c'è erba da vedere il sole.Guida per pochi minuti al Parco Nazionale di Acadia, c'è bella vista e cibo delizioso.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Ellsworth/Bar Harbor! The hotel was spotless, our room was comfortable and quiet, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices to start the day, and the location was perfect for exploring Ellsworth, Acadia National Park, and Bar Harbor. It was nice to come back each evening to a clean, relaxing room after a day of sightseeing. We especially appreciated the friendly service and how well the property was maintained. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay while visiting the Downeast Maine area, we highly recommend the Hampton Inn Ellsworth/Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again!

Decente colazione. Camera confortevole, doccia eccellente, microonde, caffè, pannello di ferro e ferro, mini frigorifero funzionale. Non c'è sicurezza che possa trovare. La mia stanza alla fine nord dell'edificio era molto rumorosa tutta la notte a pochi cento metri dalla Maine Turnpike, e da un aereo che passava a capo a partire alle 5.30. Un sistema di ventilazione costante sul piano A/C avrebbe potuto aiutare, ma sembra che l'hanno fatto. Il telaio di Hallway ha bisogno di pulire male (la stanza ha un piano duro). Il bagno è fuori dalla vasca, e il bagno è così piccolo che ho continuato a colpire le dita con la porta quando l'ho aperto per uscire. Un piccolo bar di sapone per condividere tra il lavastoviglie e il bagno/ducha.

È un posto per stare se vuoi visitare Acadia e avere una macchina da noleggio! Ho soggiornato in una cabina di valore (pensare cabina duplex con una parete condivisa) ed è esattamente quello che si aspetta. La mia unità aveva un frigo e un letto comodo. I dipendenti erano molto carini... rimarrebbero qui completamente, invece di essere a Bar Harbor. Ci sono cabine di dimensioni piene, cabine di valore e camere di motel in questo hotel, quindi prestate attenzione a quello che prenotate per poter adattare le vostre aspettative in base a ciò. Un altro bonus, un giro veloce per un Walmart per scortare le forniture, e un ristorante di lobster molto buono è in giro per strada con un prezzo molto migliore di quello che troverai nel porto di bar

They were helpful and friendly when I stopped by early to get my room key and pay for the room. They previous guest were late checking out, so we couldn’t actually get into the room. The room was quite large with a nice couch and balcony. Also had a coffee make, refrigerator, and M/W. Good TV. The bathroom was a little smaller, although better than some of the hotels in the area, which all tend to be older. It was a little rainy and foggy, but still had some nice views. We were on the first floor and I think the second floor would be a little better. We seem to go back to Greenville quite often and I will use them again.

Ha fatto tutto. Non è bello ma pratico: vicino a strada veloci e molte opzioni commerciali accanto. Camera era buona, colazione non c'era niente di speciale. Bagno relativamente piccolo, lavastoviglie nella camera da letto

Non così bello come altri luoghi, ma è un'opportunità se non hai bisogno di avere strutture il colazione non è molto buio e scorretto
