Hotel a 5 stelle in Distretto di Faro, Portogallo

We had a fantastic stay at The Editory by the Sea in Lagos. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and a short walk to the old town. The hotel has a modern, minimalist feel with beautiful interiors and calming views of the ocean. The service was warm and professional throughout our stay. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always available if we needed anything, without being intrusive. Our room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel more luxurious. The pool area was lovely—quiet, relaxing, and a great spot to unwind after exploring the Algarve. Breakfast was a highlight! Plenty of variety with fresh local options, from fruit and pastries to cooked dishes. We also had dinner at the hotel one night and were really impressed with the quality and presentation. Overall, The Editory was the perfect mix of design, comfort, and location. We’d absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Lagos!

Siamo arrivati ​​intorno alle 15:00 e la persona alla reception non è riuscita a trovare la nostra prenotazione effettuata tramite Trip.com. Con molta rabbia e insistenza ci ha detto che non poteva fare nulla e che dovevamo contattare Trip.com per risolvere la cosa con loro (dopo 9 ore di viaggio e tutte le possibili email di conferma). Mentre aspettavo che Trip.com ci rispondesse, un'altra persona ci ha chiamato dicendoci che era tutto in ordine, che non riuscivano a trovarlo a causa di un ”errore del computer”. Non una scusa, niente. La stanza non era male, al secondo piano, ben posizionata. Struttura alberghiera vecchia, le 5 stelle non sono meritate, sinceramente è un 4 stelle attuale, per il prezzo pagato va bene. Buona colazione a buffet, servizio altrettanto buono e attento. Abbiamo avuto un problema un giorno perché non hanno rifatto la stanza, abbiamo dovuto lamentarci alle 19:30 e hanno pulito e rifatto molto velocemente (e in modo abbastanza ”leggero”), ma, beh... Non possiamo commentare SPA, palestra ecc. poiché non abbiamo provato tali servizi.

Ein wunderschönes Hotel umgeben von einer herrlichen Gartenlandschaft. Kaum angekommen passierte etwas unvorstellbares - Black out auf der iberischen Halbinsel. Die Hotelmanager haben vorbildlich reagiert - Informationen gegeben, jeder Person eine Wasserflasche zur Verfügung gestellt, abends im Restaurant kalte Speisen und kostenlose Grillgerichte serviert. Auch das Notstromaggregat lief stundenweise. Somit fühlten wir uns, trotz Unsicherheiten, gut aufgehoben.  Die Sonne genießen an der herrlichen Poollandschaft ist ja auch nicht zu verachten. Das Frühstückbuffett war abwechslungsreich, auch mit guter Auswahl für Veganer und Vegetarier. Wir haben, unter anderem,  das herrliche, süße Obst sehr genossen.

Un bel hotel in una bella posizione - siamo andati in un momento in cui era un po 'più tranquillo ma ancora soleggiato. Sono piccole e carine e durante l'estate sono sicuro ci sarà più divertimento. Il personale all’inizio non era così accogliente, ma dopo che erano tutti molto piacevoli. Ci siamo menzionati il nostro anniversario, ma come è stato all’inizio con personale che non erano disturbati nulla è stato fatto. Il servizio è stato molto bello e sempre così utile.

L'hotel offre un complesso molto bello, proprio al di fuori di Portimao, nel distretto di Algarve, Portogallo. Il loro personale, in particolare il signor Joao Figueira, è stato così amichevole e utile che siamo riusciti a circolare in tutte le strutture senza difficoltà.

Review of Bordoy Grand House Algarve Our stay at the Bordoy Grand House Algarve was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely personal — every staff member made us feel completely at home, without being overbearing. The hotel itself is stunning. It’s beautifully restored with vintage charm and elegant touches throughout. We loved the rooftop pool and bar area — the perfect place to unwind with views over the Guadiana River. The location is ideal too, just a short stroll from the marina and town square. One of the highlights was the food. Breakfast was a delight — fresh, high-quality, and served in a peaceful setting. We also had dinner at the Grand Salon Restaurant and it was incredible — a fine dining experience with local flair and beautifully presented dishes. The little touches made all the difference — from the turn-down service to the thoughtfully curated interiors. We left feeling relaxed, pampered, and already planning our return.

Nice breakfast with sea view. Location a bit far and u can only go by bolt or uber. Staff is friendly. Theres a beautiful infinity pool for you to take good pictures. The room is spacious with a large tv. Definitely recommend.

Nella migliore delle ipotesi è un albergo a 4 stelle. Durante il nostro soggiorno l'hotel non era al meglio, quindi non metterei 3,5 stelle. L'ingresso dell'hotel sembra la sala d'attesa di una stazione ferroviaria. Per un momento abbiamo pensato di essere sottoterra perché è buio ovunque all'interno dell'hotel. I bagni erano maleodoranti all'ingresso, credo che le finestre siano state pulite a Natale dell'anno scorso. Pavimenti sporchi. Le camere sono squallide, ma spaziose.. Ci sono un sacco di spazio per riporre. non puoi usare gli specchi nella zona bagno perché è troppo buio. L'acqua nella tazza del WC continua a scorrere a meno che non si giochi con i pulsanti. Il telecomando della TV era sporco. Gli asciugamani risalgono al X secolo, usali con cura! Gli articoli da toeletta sono marchi di base, niente oo la la! La colazione è buona, non eccellente. C'è una stazione dal vivo per omelette e pancake. Caffè delle macchine Nescafè con cialde, ancora una volta non proprio standard a 5 stelle. Resta qui se hai un buon prezzo ma non grandi aspettative. NON ASPETTARTI SERVIZIO A 5 STELLE! Sei stato avvertito.

Pousada Palácio de Estoi is a beautiful hotel, elegant in every corner, very quiet, and with ample parking. I stayed for two nights, and while the first night was wonderful, the second evening at dinner was disappointing. The restaurant service felt rather cold, and there was a mix up where someone had made a 7 p.m reservation under our names without informing us. Things worsened when my fish soup contained a small piece of plastic, which I showed to the restaurant manager, unfortunately, that ended my meal. Not to mention the delay in food, 75 minutes sitting in the restaurant, I have only had the plastic containing soup. Despite this, the hotel itself is charming and well located, with some aspects of service done right. With some attention to communication and restaurant service, it could easily be a five star experience. Not quite there yet in my humble opinion.

The staff make the hotel really . They are brilliant.very kind and great service . However the breakfast and the amenities like the indoor pool are not up to scratch for 5 star hotel . Breakfast was very low in quality and the indoor pool was so dated , small and honestly terrible. The outdoor pool could use renovation too. The gym (you can’t even call it a gym as there is about 5 pieces of equipment in it). My room was absolutely fab. Really liked it and loved where I was positioned, had the sun on it I’ll afternoon. Big rooms too either big balcony’s. They should have a shuttle down to the marina like most other 5 star hotels in the area as it is far. If you are a golfer I think you will enjoy this place , if you’re not then maybe somewhere with more amenities might be better for you.
