I recently had the pleasure of staying at ASO Base Backpackers during my visit to Aso, Japan, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. This charming hostel exceeded my expectations in every aspect and left me with beautiful memories of my time in Aso. First and foremost, the location of ASO Base Backpackers is simply breathtaking. Situated at 1498 Kurokawa, it offers a serene and picturesque setting surrounded by the natural beauty of Aso. The hostel is nestled amidst lush greenery and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. It truly felt like a hidden gem, providing a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were incredibly helpful, providing valuable information about the area and offering suggestions for activities and sightseeing. Their genuine hospitality and passion for ensuring a memorable stay made a significant impact on my overall experience. The accommodation at ASO Base Backpackers was cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The dormitory-style rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and ample storage space. The communal areas, such as the lounge and kitchen, were inviting and provided opportunities to connect with fellow travelers from around the world. The hostel fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among guests, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. L'hotel è molto nuovo e comodo. Siamo auto-conduttori. C'è un parcheggio gratuito qui. Il personale è molto amichevole. Inoltre, ci introduce il ristorante vicino per mangiare. Molto bene.  è l'hotel che vi riserveremo la prossima volta!

Hotel vicino alla stazione centrale e al centro commerciale, a tre minuti di distanza verso la strada di shopping e shopping. È molto conveniente comprare cibo. È una stazione ferroviaria cittadina accanto alla strada di negozio. Ci vogliono solo 15 minuti per arrivare alla stazione JR di Yanbu.

This is a great place to stay if you want to be in a peaceful and quiet location. It is in the village with not much disturbances. The owner is very helpful and try to answer your questions about bus and train services in the area. You can find some local restaurants nearby using your Google map. The restaurants are close around 3 to 4 pm most days. The closing hours for the restaurants are not accurate. This is a small town; if they don’t have costumers after a certain hours in the evening, they will be closed. Be mindful about that and come prepared with snacks and food!

Una piccola casa di legno indipendente calda, con utensili per la pasticceria, può comprare materiali per la pasticceria da solo, adatto per il compagno, una famiglia di dimensioni e un gruppo di buoni amici.Se si auto guida, è possibile trovare secondo le istruzioni di Google Map. Il vecchio zio e la vecchia signora che gestisce sono molto amichevoli. Il primo giorno sono arrivati alle sette, quindi non hanno comunicato dopo il soggiorno. Il mattino dopo, sono andato fuori per incontrare il vecchio zio, quindi ho avuto un contatto molto più grande. L'anziano era una persona sciocca, e poi si e' anche innamorato della zia. Anche se il linguaggio non è comprensibile, hanno anche cercato di parlare con noi con l'app di traduzione. È molto gentile e entusiasta ❤️

I honestly do not know where to start, I booked the hotel without really knowing much about Kumamoto Prefecture. After arriving in Kumamoto City and then realising Ueki Onsen is another 40 minute bus ride I was thinking oh dear where am I staying. After arriving at the hotel I was greeted by the manager of the hotel who showed me to my room and gave me a tour of the facilities. Once settled in I realised there isn't great public transport around and I primarily wanted to see Beppu and Yufuin during my stay, I enquired with the manager on where I might be able to rent a car, with little to no Japanese language under my belt he took it upon himself to reserve a vehicle for me and offered to drive me himself to collect it. He then also said he would take me back to return it a few days later. After my trips to Beppu and Yufui village (Not to be missed) and not to miss the outstanding and beautiful surroundings in Uekimachi and the Aso region. The manager and I set off to return my hire car, on the way back he took me to Kikuchi shrine to pray and also gifted me coffee and cake. They also accommodated me with use of the on site onsen (amazing) after hours as I'm heavily tattooed. I feel truly grateful to have found this hidden gem of rural Japan and if you are thinking of traveling this great country I emplore you to go off the beaten path. I experienced untold kindness during my stay and have memories of a life time. Thank you so much guys

The hotel is located right at one of the very busy shopping streets of Kumamoto with many shops and restaurants. We had had very pleasant stroll there and had dinner and snack. The room is very spacious and clean. The two matt glass windows cannot be opened per se. One has light and the other very little. The soap provided is of better quality than that of the other hotels I have stayed in. The dispenser says Kao.

友人5人と1泊しました。お問い合わせがLINEでも可能かつ直ぐに返信が来るため、助かりました。個人的に歯ブラシとセットで小さい紙コップがあったことが嬉しかったです。アマプラとYouTubeは見放題、Huluやネトフリはログインすれば視聴可能でした。トランプなど玩具はないため、友達と遊びたいときは持参が必要です。2階で宿泊している方の足音が気になる場合もありますが、凡そ問題ありません。楽しい時間を過ごせました！

日式民宿，很好的體驗，房東很熱情，英語流利。免費提供附近温泉的門票，我每天都去，難得的體驗。遠離市區，很安靜，附近有電車，去市區也很方便。晚上週邊沒有人，燈光較暗，但是很安全。 Staying at a Japanese-style guesthouse was a wonderful experience. The host was very welcoming and spoke fluent English. They provided free tickets to a nearby hot spring, which I visited every day—a rare treat. The guesthouse is located away from the city center, making it very quiet. There is a tram nearby, making it convenient to travel to the city. At night, the surroundings are quite empty and the lighting is dim, but it feels very safe.

L'ospite è molto amichevole con una bella casa. Aiutami quando vengo e vado in macchina. Questa casa è buona per i soldi, quindi sono disposto a visitare di nuovo.

Sono circondato da una stanza lontana dalla foresta. Il suono è molto comodo, molto curato È possibile utilizzare il bacino aperto per 24 ore senza limiti. Ogni volta che cambia il caldo naturale è il migliore.
