Hotel a 2 stelle in Prefettura di Gifu, Giappone

May 15-16, 2024 From the moment we saw photos of this special place on the internet, we knew we had to stay here! The natural rock onsen baths caught our imagination - and our stay was wonderful beyond expectations! The resort is located in a forested valley is stunning, next to a rushing river. Natural mountain hot spring water is channeled into 7 lovely outdoor onsen baths, as well as ensuite baths. The facility is beautifully designed with gardens and multi-level suites, with each of the levels looking out to the river, with plenty of seating to enjoy the relaxing and lovely views. We were treated with limitless thoughtful hospitality from the moment we arrived, to the moment we left - in fact, one of our group kept commenting ”the y[the staff] must think we're really special!”. The suite was beautifully appointed with tatami mats, traditional Japanese decor, comfortable beds, yukata and slippers are provided along with tabi socks and plenty of clean linens. Our suite had its own private onsen bath encircled by natural stones, and constantly running hot spring water. Such a contrast to water-parched California and even Hawaii where we're from! The outdoor onsens are open all night, for viewing of the starry night sky. The kaiseki dinner was exceptional, with many many delicious small plates, each exquisitely prepared and presented - a petite, freshly caught local fish was skewered as if swimming and roasted in a salt shell. Utterly delicious! In the morning, after a similarly wonderful breakfast, we experienced a mochi-pounding session with the hotel staff and guests joining in - lots of fun - photos were provided! Transportation - It was a challenge figuring out how to get to this place - finally, we had a Japanese-speaking hotel clerk call the resort, and got instructions for the 1-hour bus ride from Takayama bus station to Shinhotaka Onsen / Nakao Kou-gen-guchi. There are buses running every hour! We walked to the resort from the bus stop when we arrived, and a shuttle van to the bus stop was thoughtfully provided by the resort when we left. Ho soggiornato per 5 notti, e innanzitutto il prezzo è molto ragionevole per un ostello backpacker. Check-in è fatto online: si sceglie la lingua, scansionare il passaporto, e avere una chiamata f2f con il personale via un iPad. FYI, in Giappone c'è un'imposta obbligatoria sull'alloggio di 100 yen per notte. Puoi anche chiedere un servizio ”Irori” pagato in una succursale di sorella vicina, dove puoi grigliare i tuoi ingredienti su un tradizionale cuoio giapponese insopportabile. Solo un richiamo: puoi ottenere ingredienti freschi dal mercato vicino ”Family Store Satoh” oppure più lontano da ”Surugaya Asumo”. La zona comune non è grande, e la cucina è fondamentale ma funzionale con tavolo, caldaia elettrica, forni, microonde e mini frigo. L'acqua di tappo è bevande; il tappo di miscelatore può essere tagliato per regolare la temperatura, quindi non si ottiene un freddo dall'acqua fredda in inverno! 😂 Nella parte posteriore, c'è un bagno, tre doccia, e un bagno comune, insieme ad una lavatrice e un asciugacapsula che sono liberi di usare (solo è necessario acquistare il detergente dalla macchina della capsula o portare il proprio) Poiché è un ostello, le camere hanno un basso e un alto basso, e sono molto spaziose e hanno due uscite di potenza (Ricorda il tuo adattatore di viaggio!), un cappuccio di testa (porta il tuo padello), un asciugamani e due ganci. Devi costruire il tuo letto, è un set di stile futon dove si mette le tue lane sulla matita. Un cuscino e un giardino sono forniti. Durante l'inverno, essi gestiscono il sistema AC (sistema diviso) in modo di riscaldamento per mantenerlo coperto. Nella stanza c'è un deposito bagagli e un'apertura per vestiti. Al secondo piano dove sono rimasto, c'è due bagni in camera: uno con un urinario e un altro unisex con un bidet/lavastoviglie intelligente. Per essere onesti, mentre è molto vicino al mercato mattino di Miyagawa, si sente un po' lontano dal centro di autobus Nohi e dalla stazione JR. Se non ti piace camminare o tirare facilmente, potrebbe essere un po' di sfida. In generale, è una grande scelta a prezzi accessibili per i backpackers 😗

Questo sembra essere un business di famiglia con ospitalità calda e cordiale. I host non parlavano molto inglese, ma abbiamo potuto usare un traduttore digitale per comunicare. Sono grato che l'hotel offre una navetta gratuita per prendere dalla stazione di treno Hida Osaka. Dobbiamo ottenere il nostro hotel precedente per chiamare Senyukan per informarli sul momento previsto per l'arrivo del treno.Apprezziamo l'immensa pazienza del conducente della navetta dell'hotel. Ha fatto due cambiamenti di orario per la nostra arrivo del treno a causa di notevoli ritardi dal bus ad autostrada da Nagoya a Takayama dove abbiamo dovuto collegare alla stazione di treno Hida Osaka. Abbiamo prenotato per soggiornare 3 notti e amato ogni momento del soggiorno. Il pasto kaiki Hida Beef aveva il perfetto equilibrio del gusto dolce/sauro/sale. Ogni cena aveva anche un pesce cucinato, grigliato, vaporizzato o polverizzato, oltre al sashimi (mangimi di mare greggi), la zuppa era eccellentemente deliziosa come la salata fresca e la tempera ( frittelle verdure profondamente fritte). Tutti i prodotti alimentari sono stati piatti con piacevole artista. Abbiamo prenotato l'hotel per i suoi sprint che rispettavano la loro reputazione terapeutica. Abbiamo trovato spesso gli unici che li usavano all'epoca. Molto consigliamo questo hotel per la sua affordibilità e la sua splendida ospitalità ad valore aggiunto. L'unico punto di svolta dell'hotel è che il segnale WiFi non è sempre stabile nelle camere degli ospiti, ma il wifi è più accessibile dal lobby dell'hotel.

Questo posto era assolutamente fantastico! A lontano il nostro posto preferito da tutta la nostra gita. La posizione era assolutamente perfetta per il festival Takyama. Siamo stati letteralmente li', con negozi e venditori di strade a 50 metri di distanza, e le parate sarebbero state li' anche se non fossero cancellate a causa della pioggia. Le camere erano umili e tradizionali e si aggiungevano all'esperienza. Il tè nella stanza era eccezionalmente buono e il tradizionale colazione giapponese che servivano era anche delizioso e divertente da mangiare. Non sapevamo nemmeno che avessero una legittima primavera calda sul sito, ma lo hanno fatto! Sono bagni di stile giapponese, quindi siate pronti a farlo, ma l'acqua era terapeutica e così rilassante. Non posso raccomandare questo posto abbastanza e farei assolutamente un punto di visitare Takyama e rimanere qui per qualche giorno nel nostro prossimo viaggio in Giappone. Sono stati un ospedale così bello.E non posso credere il prezzo, che grande valore. Fatevi un favore e restate qui. Non sono sicuro perché le altre cattive recensioni sono qui, li ho letti e sembrano i turisti americani stupidi, quindi ignorateli e restate qui.

Simply an amazing stay. First trip to Japan and first ever stay at a Ryokan & was not disappointed. The mother & daughter (5th & 6th generation)hosts were super accommodating and felt very privileged that they had opened their Inn for solo travelers like myself to enjoy. The feeling of history at the Inn, felt almost like staying within a piece of living art. Ikebana display in the front display and Bonsai in the courtyard that are over 500 hundred years old, it made the whole experience an immersive one. The dinner and breakfasts were an experience that were perfectly executed. Of course local / home grown ingredients were the stars of these meals and every dish was tastier than the last. Thank you for making my stay feel comfortable and relaxed. Ena is one of the historical postal towns on the Nakasendo trail & recommend visiting and staying here if you are taking the less touristy route. とても思い出に残る滞在にしてくださった旅館のとても親切なスタッフに感謝します。

Wonderful guest house, full of interesting artefacts and traditional Japanese trinkets. Traditional stay with modern amenities. Our family of 4 loved our stay here during April 2024. The owners are very welcoming into their home and they go to a lot of effort to make our stay happy and comfortable. A traditional Japanese Breakfast meal is provided. The food is delicious and plentiful. Sleeping is Japanese style on tatami mats and comfortable futon mattresses. The rooms and beds are warm and cosy, even when it is cold outside. The bathrooms are clean and modern, and the hot bath was a very welcome relief from the days of walking. The location is very convenient with a 1 minute walk to the Miyagawa morning markets and other interesting locations. The house is an easy 15 minute walk to Takayama station. Highly recommend. We loved our stay here!

Staying at Hostel Miyagawa by Murasaki Ryokan was truly one of the highlights of my trip — an unforgettable experience that beautifully blended comfort, tradition, and hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a warm, peaceful atmosphere that reflected the essence of a traditional Japanese ryokan. The design of the space is charming and authentic, with thoughtful touches that bring out the beauty of Japanese culture. Everything from the tatami rooms to the meticulously clean facilities made the stay incredibly comfortable. What truly made it special, though, was the feeling of calm and connection to local traditions that this place offers. It’s more than just a place to sleep — it’s a cultural experience in itself. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in an authentic and beautiful ryokan stay.

Eravamo in viaggio, di ritorno da Shirakawa-go, e avevamo bisogno di un posto dove pernottare prima di tornare a Nagoya la mattina successiva. Gli hotel nella zona di Gifu erano più costosi, quindi abbiamo optato per Seki, che ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre esigenze. Essendo un hotel a 2 stelle, siamo rimasti piuttosto soddisfatti della disponibilità delle terme, ma tenete presente che è un onsen solo per uomini in certi orari e solo per donne in altri. Assicuratevi di controllare gli orari e il cartello davanti alla sala termale prima di entrare. La colazione era ottima, non ci aspettavamo così tanta scelta. La sala da pranzo era piccola, ma non abbiamo dovuto aspettare per un posto, anche se eravamo lì intorno alle 8 del mattino, che di solito è l'orario di punta per la colazione negli hotel giapponesi. Oh, anche il parcheggio è gratuito di fronte all'hotel. Consiglierei questo posto a chiunque cerchi una sosta veloce.

È possibile camminare dal terminale di Hirayu Onsen. Non credo sia lontano. Nel lungo periodo, ci sono anche un paio di bagni pubblici che puoi fermare. A Trip.com, sembrano disponibili solo le camere con bagno condiviso, ma hanno anche le camere con bagno privato. Penso che se vuoi questa opzione dovrai prenotare attraverso il loro sito ufficiale. Il pasto incluso nella nostra stanza è piuttosto basilare, come il tonkatsu o il curry di carne bovina, ma se si prenota una stanza con bagno privato, si può scegliere pasti come il sukiyaki o il sukiyaki. L'acqua di acqua di mento contiene un sacco di sedimento minerale (supposibilmente una buona cosa?) Tuttavia, le strutture del bagno sono piuttosto vecchie.

A small ryokan right next to bus station and entrance of Shirakawago. It is the best location to stay there. However, it is not gussho house but it is a full ryokan with onsen and meals. I stayed in a room with bed, not tatami floor. All rooms are without toilet and bathroom. Drinking water fountain is provided. Two coffee vouchers per day were provided, but not served during or after meal. It is available at front desk. Meals were great. This place is on high price as its location. We pay for convenience and location. There is a small supermarket nearby too but it is close early. They also sell used (but washed and clean) yukata too. Onsen is good, available both indoor and outdoor, as well as sauna.
