Hotel a 4 stelle in Illinois, Stati Uniti d'America

Questo hotel è fantastico, la posizione è davvero eccellente. A soli cinque minuti a piedi si trova lo Starbucks più grande del mondo. Tutte le principali attrazioni sono raggiungibili a piedi. I letti sono comodi, la pulizia è impeccabile e c'è una palestra. La finestra della nostra camera si affacciava su grattacieli, quindi non c'era una vista panoramica, ma non è stato un problema. Il personale è stato tutto molto gentile e accogliente.

the cleanliness of the room itself was fine, but the hotel seemed pretty run-down. the stairwell we took to get to our room was quite dirty (trash remained there for all five days we were there) and had a lot of cobwebs etc. the towels we got the first day had some weird dye on them? one of the days we got our room serviced but they only replaced our towels and did not reset our beds which was strange. it's also relatively far from o'hare compared to some other hotels. however, it's definitely livable and the rooms are quite large

This place is excellent if you’re a stressed out business traveler, looking for a good rate, and if you’re willing to manage your own transportation from the airport and back, but the amenities after a long late night arrival waking up the next day, sitting in the hot tub having a swim in the pool and a steam and a sauna along with an icy cold shower afterwards just recharges you after a long business trip, especially if you international like me I wouldn’t necessarily call it family friendly, but it’s definitely good for entrepreneur business travel if you can get a good rate otherwise there are other hotels out there if you can’t get a good rate. The rooms are not specifically special compared to the competition, but it’s an a quieter area and the fitness and aquatic amenities are what makes the difference for me as I have back problems and after a long international flight all I wanna do is get in the hot tub or take a steam or sauna. I’m needing an airport shuttle. I would not recommend this hotel and if you aren’t willing to risk having to pay a premium for a car service or Uber then do not book here. I wish I could stay at this hotel long enough to enjoy all of their amenities as they are really good, but as breakfast is not included, it can be a pricey for what you get when you compare it to other hotels in the area and hotels closer to the airport. Yet as long as I can get a good rate on this hotel, I will keep going back as I frequently travel international for work and just having the peace of the secluded area and the steam room and sauna make it a huge selling feature for me as they really assist my rejuvenation after a long day or more of travel. 

Attenzione, c'è un costo nascosto: ”Verrà addebitato un supplemento di 25 $ al giorno per l'esperienza urbana a camera” presso questo hotel Fairmont Chicago - Millennium Park. Il costo della colazione è molto complicato se avete pagato in anticipo. Innanzitutto, dovete sostenere di aver pagato in anticipo la colazione per ogni persona in camera. In secondo luogo, dovete chiedere e confermare alla reception l'importo del credito per la colazione che avete pagato (nel mio caso 38 $ a persona al giorno, tasse e mance incluse). Non è una colazione a buffet, dovete pagare un extra al momento del check-out se avete ordinato più del credito per la colazione. Quando ho chiesto se, se avessi saltato una colazione, potevo utilizzare il credito extra per il giorno successivo, le risposte sono state diverse da membro del personale. Un hotel molto costoso, specializzato in grandi conferenze, non dispone di forno a microonde, frigorifero vuoto (su richiesta) in camera e piscina. Non sollevate le bevande e gli snack nella scatola sul tavolo (ci sono dei sensori sotto) a meno che non vi dispiaccia che vi venga addebitato. Il frigorifero è pieno di bevande. Avevo paura di toccarlo, persino il concierge non sapeva come aprire la serratura del frigorifero. Ma caffè e tè sono gratuiti. C'è una persona (non la governante) che viene in camera per controllare e riempire tutte le bevande e gli snack, compresi quelli gratuiti. Abbiamo prenotato la nostra camera molte settimane prima, ma dopo il check-in mi sono accorto che i prezzi delle camere erano scesi rispetto a quelli originali, forse perché non c'erano abbastanza partecipanti alla conferenza. Spero che le informazioni ti siano utili.

L'hotel è un tipico hotel aereo, ha un pilota di navetta molto utile (Ray) e l'altro personale interagisce con è stato molto amichevole e utile.  Situato proprio fuori dall'aeroporto, al contrario di un centro commerciale e ha una piccola selezione di ristoranti a pochi passi dall'hotel.  La camera era pulita e aveva tutto quello che doveva, la camera era ben pressata e aveva un bel bagno.  Questa era una permanenza di una notte prima di volare a casa da O'Hare e soddisfare tutte le esigenze. 

La stanza è molto più piccola di Kayong vicino alla strada (in quel momento, quando l'hotel era pronto a pensare di poter andare meno sul ponte) La stanza è piccola e delicata, il servizio è ancora buono, la posizione geografica è eccellente C'è un Starbuck 711 Smash Burger vicino.

I was to pay 117 at check in per room. Hotel made me par 285 for something I didn’t have time to use which was tickets to attractions and that fee included a fee for checking out. ..49 a room for coupons snd 65 per room check out fee. Our car was too tall for the 85.00 a night parking but the garage at the corner only charged 58.00 a night. I wouldn’t recommend driving downtown Chicago unless you like being stressed out. I’m asking trip.com to reimburse the difference between the 117 and 185.

We booked a room that unfortunately was for the wrong dates through a third party. We were told by the third party that they would refund us but that the hotel had to release our reservation. We called them immediately after realizing the dates were wrong which was within an hour. The reservation was for two days from then. The hotel said they would not cancel it. They charged us almost $600 for a room we did not stay in and called in advance to explain our situation. They also did not allow for us to change the days to the days we were actually looking for. While the hotel is lovely and the staff was pleasant even delivering the bad news I won’t be looking to book with them again.

We are still very happy with this hotel. However, the front desk staff named Silly was very unfriendly. Would not go to this hotel again.
