Hotel a 2 stelle in Prefettura di Tochigi, Giappone

Questo posto è come un angolo del paradiso, il proprietario dell'hotel Masao e la sua moglie sono persone molto calde e amanti, le camere sono molto pulite e giapponesi, e vi consiglio di studiare la cultura fumante prima di arrivare. Si serve in due modi diversi, chiusi e aperti, a bordo del fiume, e si possono usare entrambi i fr... dopo tre giorni di passaggio a Tokyo, è stato un posto davvero tranquillo e confortante. La conversazione con Masao da ore è stata molto luminosa, e ha bellissime sake e vino, grazie mille a Masao e alla sua famiglia. E questo hotel è stato disegnato come la casa del personaggio principale dell'anima arancione, e vedete alcuni punti dell'hotel in anima, non lo sapevo finche' non sono venuto qui, ma è stata una bella coincidenza. Non dimenticate che è un po' lontano dalla città, se volete andare in città, è più logico noleggiare un'auto.

Most of the reviews are outdated so I thought I'd give an updated review. For one thing, there is WiFi (I have informed the landlady that the website indicates otherwise). This place is a traditional-style inn. You'll be sleeping in a futon (some Google-fu should help you know how to use one), use two pairs of slippers (one for moving around the house, one exclusively for the toilet) and will also bathe in a Japanese-style shared bathroom. The front gate and bathroom close at 10pm, which is not an issue as everywhere in Nikko closes early and it's too dark to hike outdoors (in early Autumn). We loved using the onsen to relax after a day of strolling around and hiking, and the delicious Japanese-style breakfast was lovingly prepared by a friendly old granny. The premises are old but well-maintained. Toilets, bathroom and onsen were great but we were there during off-peak season so we didn't need to share so much. Should we return to Nikko, this place will be our first choice!

It was the perfect place for me to reset and refresh. The hostel is surrounded by beautiful nature and has a hot spring, just what I needed in a getaway from the big city. The common space is designed beautifully and has two very comfortable kitchens, big fridges, and everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, one night the hostel even arranged a hot pot dinner. First I stayed in a standard room but I ended up extending my stay here, this time in the women's only dormitory. Both the private room and the dormitory room were very comfortable and had everything I needed. Long walks was just what I needed but it looks like there's quite a lot to do around if you drive just a little bit, so I would recommend coming by car or renting one at the train station. I can't wait for my next visit here.

Il ponte è molto carino e privato, essenzialmente una mini camera. Il personale era amichevole. Ha 4 chiodi decenti di dimensioni fuori il fronte che era un salvatore di vita per il magazzinaggio dei bagagli prima di entrare per esplorare la zona. Molto vicino a alcune attrazioni principali, molto a piedi!

Il personale non era il più bello, ma era abbastanza accogliente - il personale notturno era un po' brutto, ma il personale mattino il giorno dopo era abbastanza gentile. Ho avuto tempo di uccidere nel lobby, dove ci sono sedie di massaggio libere, anche se sono un po' abbattute. Ci sono stati fornitori di cibo e bevande, un riscaldatore d'acqua calda e una microonde per l'uso. Ci sono anche i bagni pubblici di stile onsen che non ho approfittato, ma hanno avuto molte scelte. This hotel was in a very beautiful, peaceful location. The room was very large with a shower room separate from the toilet. There were a couple of parking spaces, I would recommend driving as the stores are a bit farther away from this hotel

Posizione comoda proprio di fronte alla stazione di Tobu Nikko. Per una notte abbiamo avuto tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno nella nostra camera doppia, che era come un monolocale: bagno privato, angolo cottura con microonde, bollitore, lavello e frigorifero (senza utensili da cucina), balcone con vista. Riscaldamento e termocoperta hanno fatto il loro dovere nella notte fredda. C'è un supermercato e una lavanderia nelle vicinanze. L'hotel necessita sicuramente di manutenzione e l'isolamento può essere migliorato perché faceva molto freddo. L'unico modo per raggiungere i piani superiori è con l'ascensore, perché ho provato a usare le scale ma erano bloccate da pile di lenzuola, il che non è l'ideale dato che dovrebbero esserci uscite di sicurezza! Non proprio una sistemazione economica rispetto ad altri posti in cui ho soggiornato in Giappone e per lo standard offerto.

Che luogo fantastico per soggiornare - Kas e sua moglie ci hanno resi estremamente benvenuti e hanno fornito eccellenti consigli di ristorante e luoghi per visitare. Le camere erano pulite senza spot e il colazione era eccellente (con succhi, yogurt, ham e omeletta e frutta, più tosta e tè/caffè). Le camere sono grandi e il letto è confortevole. La doccia era anche super pulita. È montana dalla stazione Nikko Tobu, ma si può facilmente ottenere un taxi dalla stazione per 1,000/1,100 (£ 5/6) che salva il trasporto del bagaglio. Camminare brevemente per il fiume Kirifuri che è bella e se sei fortunato si vedrà i scimmie lungo il cammino. Non potevo raccomandare più forte e attendere con ansia di tornare in futuro!

We were hosted by an elderly couple, and his family members. They were super cute, friendly and polite. It's like their small family business, ground floor was a western restaurant, second floor onwards were all the guest rooms. They know a bit of English, so the communication wise no issue at all. What we love about this stay is that other than the room with gorgeous lake view, the host was super helpful to allow us to store our luggage with them even way before our check-in timing. Furthermore he even offer to send us to the laundry shop, when we just casually ask him about the laundry. What actually surprised me the most, was that he even FETCH us from the laundry shop after we were done. Will definitely come back to this place again if I'm in Nikko! Thumbs up! Super host!! 😁

Onestamente, uno dei migliori soggiorni degli ultimi tempi. Mi sono sentito ospitale, a mio agio e in sintonia con la natura. Ha l'atmosfera di un locale a conduzione familiare, il che significa che non troverai le cose più nuove o comuni, ma avrai comunque diverse opzioni. Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerei senza esitazione!
