Hotel a 2 stelle in Jilin, Cina

I'm a british traveller with a Chinese wife. I'm mostly located in China and I speak the language. Hunchun is near to Russia and most of the guests were Russian. Some of the staff can speak a few words of Russian but not much. And no English! The Hotel itself is modern, clean and very technically equipped. The toilet seat is heated, and it flushes itself. The shower took a bit of working out, but once I had mastered it, it was possibly the best shower I'd had in years. The shower is partitioned from the rest of the toilet, which isn't always the case in China. There's an AI person who greets you in Chinese when you enter, but we couldn't work out what the purpose of this was. It didn't understand English and my wife couldn't get a lot of sense out of it in Chinese. But everything else worked, including the curtains which opened and closed remotely. The TV was large and of an excellent quality. The bed was firm, but not hard like some Chinese beds can be, and we slept very comfortably. The breakfast was OK, but nothing special. My wife and I are diabetic, so we avoid sweet things. Although there was plenty of meat, vegetables and eggs to keep us going for the day, there was only sweetened coffee, sweetened milk tea and I think sweetened soy milk, in the drinks machine. We managed to get plain hot water out of the machine, but there was only paper cups provided, which was a disappointment considering the price we'd paid and the excellent standard of everything else. I would suggest a coffee machine and milk available at breakfast, and maybe a hot water urn and some tea bags. And some proper cups! I think a place of such good quality deserves a bit more of a variety of food. It was OK, but not great. Disappointing. For people on a low budget (like we were) one should bear in mind that the location isn't very central and it's a bus ride and a 25 minute walk, from the high speed rail station. Taxis are not very expensive but we don't have much money so we got local buses which are not very frequent. So I consider the location to be the most disappointing aspect of this hotel. Everything else was either fine, or excellent. We would definitely consider going there again in the future. It was also the only hotel that has allowed us the late checkout which I've been promised by Trip.com. Thank you!

However, I did notice that the room lacked proper sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. This impacted my sleep quality slightly. The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could have been better maintained. The bathroom, while functional, could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience. In terms of amenities, Hanting Hotel provided basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, which was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. However, I found the lack of a mini-fridge or a coffee/tea maker in the room to be a drawback, as it limited my convenience and comfort. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the hotel's breakfast. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, catering to both local and international palates. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a friendly smile from the staff. Overall, Hanting Hotel offered a decent stay with its convenient location, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. However, improvements in sound insulation, room cleanliness, and inclusion of additional room amenities would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Anche se abbiamo prenotato una stanza senza finestre, ci sorprendevamo quanto ci fosse confortevole durante la nostra permanenza qui di 3 notti. Le letti sono super morbide e le camere sono molto spaziose, vengono con riscaldamento e umidificatore. Il bagno è il migliore con acqua calda elettrica e sistema di riscaldamento. Tutti i mobili sono molto nuovi e il posto è in generale abbastanza pulito Il servizio è disponibile gratuitamente dalla stazione ferroviaria all'hotel. In quanto straniero, è stato ancora facile contattarli tramite telefono trip.com Internet, e seguirli tramite WeChat. Una volta all’hotel la posizione è grande è a piedi di distanza dalle principali aree alimentari e 5 minuti a piedi alla fermata del bus (bus gratuito!) che vi porta al centro di Changbaishan North. - Ricordate di prenotare i vostri biglietti in anticipo! In generale, si consiglierà facilmente di rimanere qui se si visita Changbaishan :)

Ho avuto un bel tempo a Yánje da quando ho pianificato molte escursioni di frontiera. Posso parlare sia coreano che cinese a modo mio per navigare questa regione, che è anche nota come la Terza Corea. La posizione di questo posto era grande, dal momento che era nel centro della città, oltre all'Università di Yanji. (Mi è stato assegnato la stanza 1206.) So glad we chose to stay at this hotel and area. It’s right in front of the folk garden, walking distance to many restaurants, museums, and dinosaur world park. The staff was very welcoming during our stay, including the cute delivery robot. The rooms are very comfortable and the rooftop terrace has beautiful views. Lots of pillow provided, high end bedding, and big beds even for a family of 4. We hope to be back!

Erdaobaihe is a really sweet, cozy little town. Although it’s not located in the main town area, it is just opposite the beautiful pine forest, which makes the surroundings very peaceful. There are free buses available to travel within the town, which is very convenient. However, as we can’t read Chinese, we mostly relied on Didi instead. Getting a Didi can be a bit challenging due to the limited number of drivers, but as long as you’re willing to wait 5–15 minutes, you should be able to get one. The people in the town are very warm and welcoming. We visited Enduli, and it was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable. The morning view from our room was magical. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was equipped with a smart toilet with a heated seat, which was a nice touch. There was a small issue where we found a strand of hair on the bed when we opened the bedsheet. We didn’t make a fuss as I had my own disposable bedsheet prepared. Despite this minor incident, the overall stay was wonderful. What really made this place special was Aunty Wu. She was always there for us and even woke up at 6am just to bid us goodbye. When we were looking for laundry services, she kindly offered to wash our clothes in-house. With my OCD, I was especially touched that she even warmed my laundry bag for me - such a thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be back

長春市は地下鉄の新規工事中です。大経路駅から近いと思って予約したら、大経路駅はまだ開業していませんでした。人民広場駅から歩いて15分くらいかかりました。 私が泊まった部屋は5階で、エレベーターはありません。体力勝負です。 その部屋にはエアコンもありません。私は夏に泊まりましたが夜は涼しいので問題ありませんでした。冬はどうなのか分かりません。 玄関にウサギがいます。 活力城というショッピングモールが徒歩3分くらいの場所にあります。 部屋は清潔で値段の割に広々としていて気持ち良く過ごせました。

We had an amazing stay here. The owner was extremely helpful and thoughtful — he helped us arrange our itinerary, book tickets, transportation, and handled everything for us. Even though we only stayed for 2 days and hadn’t prepared anything in advance, he made sure we could follow our plan smoothly and even suggested extra places to visit. The hotel is located on the 5th floor, accessible by elevator. It took us a little while to find it at first, but the location is convenient, close to Yunding Market - it’s nice to take an evening walk around the area and find food nearby. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, with a large bed. One small thing to note is that the heater/air conditioner felt a bit weak for us, so the room was slightly cold at night, possibly due to the bed being close to the window. The most precious part of our stay was the warmth of the aunt and uncle here. They were so caring and welcoming, always checking on us when we went out or came back late. Being away from home but feeling this kind of care truly felt like home. It was genuinely heart-warming, and we are very grateful for this stay. ❤︎
