Hotel a 3 stelle in Veneto, Italia

Il nostro autista del pullman serale è stato estremamente scortese, non meriterebbe neanche una stella per il servizio. Avevamo prenotato il servizio navetta, l'importo era già stato addebitato online e la pagina dell'ordine mostrava la conferma, ma per qualche motivo non riuscivamo ad accedere alla pagina del biglietto, che continuava a mostrare un errore. Forse era a causa della nostra SIM tedesca, o forse un problema con il sito web dell'hotel (abbiamo riprovato il giorno dopo, dopo aver lasciato l'hotel, e ha funzionato...). Ma l'autista del pullman è stato molto sgarbato, capite? Abbiamo provato a spiegargli più volte, mostrandogli la pagina di conferma dell'ordine, ma lui ha detto che non era colpa sua, che non gli importava del motivo, che guardava solo la pagina del biglietto. Il suo tono impaziente e il suo sguardo avrebbero fatto perdere la pazienza a chiunque. Così mio marito ha litigato con lui. Ho provato a stemperare la tensione, dicendogli che capivo che era il suo lavoro e che non era colpa sua, ma prima che potessi finire la frase, mi ha puntato un dito al naso, mi ha guardato fisso e ha iniziato a dire a voce alta: 'Sì, signora, è tutta colpa sua'. Poi si è seduto al posto di guida e ha iniziato a borbottare in italiano, ma con un tono che sembrava un insulto. A quel punto sono esplosa anch'io... Non siamo volati a Milano e abbiamo preso un treno apposta per Venezia per farci trattare così. Non si possono fare eccezioni in situazioni particolari? Credo che questa persona sia un caso isolato, ma questa eccezione ci ha in qualche modo rovinato la vacanza. L'autista del pullman che ci ha portato via la mattina è stato molto gentile; di fronte allo stesso problema, ci ha fatto salire e ha detto che a volte queste cose succedono, quindi le persone sono diverse. Ora parliamo dell'hotel. La posizione dell'hotel è a circa venti minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria, sarebbe più adatta per chi viaggia in auto. Le strutture interne dell'hotel sono decenti, la cucina ben attrezzata è stata la cosa che mi ha soddisfatto di più, ma uno dei gabinetti non scaricava, la doccia alternava acqua calda e fredda, e l'insonorizzazione era scarsa dato che è una struttura in legno. L'hotel ha una piscina, negozi interni e ristoranti. I dintorni sono molto isolati, non c'è nulla da fare, solo campi e zone residenziali. Il servizio alla reception è stato ottimo.

We’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments around the world, from tiny rooms to beautiful villas, and this was honestly our first experience like this. We arrived around 2:30 PM, right after check-in time. There is no elevator, but that’s completely understandable for an old Venetian building. We carried our luggage to the third floor, and while my wife was speaking with the host, we suddenly found out that the bathroom was shared with another room. This was a huge surprise for us because on Trip.com the booking clearly mentioned private facilities in the room and a shower. Only later did we realize that the bathroom was actually outside the room and shared between two rooms, with separate keys for the wooden bathroom door. The bathroom itself was clean and decent, but for us this completely changed the experience. We have never stayed in a place with a shared bathroom before, and finding this out only at check-in was very disappointing. Another frustrating point was the check-out policy. Check-out was at 10:00 AM, which we already knew from the booking, but honestly this was only the second time in my life I’ve seen such an early check-out time — and I’ve probably booked more than 200 hotels. I think the only earlier one I ever had was 9:30 AM. I genuinely do not understand why there needs to be a 4-hour gap between check-out and check-in for cleaning a room that does not even have a private bathroom. On top of that, the host said it was impossible to leave luggage after check-out because she had “negative experiences” before. So after an already disappointing stay, this just added another layer of inconvenience. Other downsides: * terrible pillows — sleeping felt like your head was at a 90-degree angle; * extremely poor sound insulation, you can hear literally every movement from other guests; * in the shower there was nothing except hand soap near the sink — no shampoo, no conditioner, no basic amenities. Positive points: * very good location; * the room itself was clean; * coffee was available in the room. Unfortunately, the bathroom situation completely overshadowed all the positives for us. Because of that, I would rate this place 2/5.

Arrivati a Venezia, abbiamo preso una specie di People Mover, che ha solo due fermate. Siamo scesi alla seconda fermata, 'People Mover', e abbiamo camminato per circa 10 minuti fino all'hotel. L'hotel è molto nuovo e quasi tutti gli ospiti sono americani, probabilmente perché fa parte di una catena alberghiera statunitense. La colazione inizia alle 6:30 ed è molto abbondante, con frutta fresca diversa ogni giorno. È possibile acquistare un biglietto ACTV per uno o due giorni. In realtà, dall'hotel si possono raggiungere a piedi tutte le principali attrazioni di Venezia. Tuttavia, se non si vuole camminare, l'acquisto di un pass giornaliero o di due giorni è molto conveniente, perché nei pressi dell'hotel si possono prendere vaporetti o il People Mover per raggiungere queste attrazioni. Il prezzo dell'hotel è molto vantaggioso, considerando che le camere sono nuove, la colazione è inclusa e c'è la fermata del vaporetto numero 2 nelle vicinanze.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations. You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right! We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed. The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible. A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated. Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus. All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!

Devo dire che la vista dalla terrazza era bellissima. La struttura si trova in una posizione tranquilla, vicino al canale e non lontano dalla stazione ferroviaria. L'hotel è arredato in autentico stile veneziano. Tuttavia, la camera era davvero troppo piccola: non riuscivamo nemmeno ad aprire la nostra valigia un po' più grande. La cabina doccia è estremamente piccola e, per le persone più robuste, è praticamente impossibile entrarci e fare la doccia comodamente.

For the accommodation, I paid a total of €199.13 through Trip.com. This consisted of €185.13 paid online in advance and an additional €14.00 paid locally. However, upon our arrival at the accommodation, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional €66.20. This additional charge was not clearly disclosed to me during the booking process on Trip.com. In particular, there was no clear indication that we would be required to pay an additional €66.20 upon arrival. I ultimately paid the €66.20, even though I did not agree with the additional charge. The reason was that we were already at the accommodation and needed somewhere to stay. I did not want to risk being denied access to the apartment and being left without accommodation. I also informed the host/property manager at the time that I would clarify the matter with Trip.com afterwards. I therefore request that you investigate this matter and provide a full refund of the additional €66.20, provided that this fee was not properly and transparently disclosed during the booking process. I would also like you to clarify: * Why was the €66.20 charge not clearly disclosed during the booking process? * What exactly was the €66.20 charge for? * Why was this amount only requested upon arrival? * Was this additional charge actually permitted under the terms agreed between Trip.com and the property? Please provide me with a written explanation and arrange a refund of €66.20. I would also like to make clear that I paid the additional amount solely because I was already at the property and did not want to risk being left without accommodation. My payment should therefore not be interpreted as acceptance that the charge was properly disclosed or valid under my original booking. Thank you for investigating this matter. We arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor. I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases. The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would. The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed. The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it. The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it. The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket. The safe was not working. The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them. The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working. You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool. The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off. The bathroom bin was broken and filthy The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am. I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy. We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour. Kindest regards

Situato in una posizione comoda a una fermata del traghetto, quindi non devi trascinare i bagagli troppo lontano. Non ci sono scale nell'hotel, quindi è un po' una lotta. La nostra camera si affacciava sull'acqua, il che era molto carino. La colazione era piuttosto buona. Non hai scelta, ti portano solo quello che offrono. L'hotel e la camera sono datati, ma penso che questo abbia dato loro un po' di carattere

Very well located near San Marcos Piazza, the Bascilica and Doge Palace. Easy to walk to Rialto Bridge or San Marcos vaporetto station as well. However, the triple room which I booked, does not have even flooring, so it does make me a little dizzy. But it was ok once I’m on the bed. The hotel has a strange rule to collect a copy of the credit card for guarantee.i thought such process may be subject to credit card fraud risk. Overall, I’m still happy with this hotel at the price point for its location.

La posizione è ideale, si arriva rapidamente camminando dall'autobus dell'aeroporto e da ogni lato camminando. Ci sono bar intorno e è una zona tranquilla. Quello che potrebbe migliorare sono le istruzioni di check-in, perché ho contattato con un po' di anticipo l'app per fare il check-in e ho avuto problemi al momento di arrivare. La cosa buona è che rispondano e risolvo rapidamente, devo sottolinearlo. La vista dalla nostra stanza era bella, dava un piccolo patio.
