Hotel a 2 stelle in Ontario, Canada

Questa volta a Ottawa, ho alloggiato in un ostello della gioventù, ricavato da una vecchia prigione ristrutturata. La stanza da otto persone in cui alloggiavo un tempo ospitava un ex detenuto, e c'erano sbarre di sicurezza nelle scale, celle per i condannati a morte e un'ex camera di impiccagione. L'ultimo piano della prigione ospitava una clinica, mentre il piano terra ospitava una cucina e una sala polivalente. Se qualcuno veniva ferito in cucina, veniva portato su per la stretta scala incatenato. Dalla sua istituzione, la prigione ha giustiziato tre prigionieri, uno dei quali è stato condannato per l'assassinio del padre fondatore della Repubblica Cinese. La mia stanza da otto persone aveva bagni e lavanderia in comune, colazione gratuita e visite guidate giornaliere gratuite della vecchia prigione.

The Pod Inn Hotel is strategically located in the heart of Toronto, and the place is clean with amenities suitable for a quick overnight stay. However, it was my first time sleeping in a pod-style space, and it really creeped me out. My claustrophobia kicked in, the ventilation felt poor, and the pod itself was much tighter than expected. Even my wife was shocked at how squeezed the space was, and the clip fan didn’t make the experience any more comfortable. For the sake of convenience and to avoid being late for an early morning appointment, it served its purpose. I would still recommend it to backpackers or travellers who just need a simple place to sleep. But if you have extra budget, a conventional hotel or motel is definitely better for a proper night’s rest. Overall, it’s not for me, I’d only consider staying here again if I needed a last-minute stop without bringing any luggage.

Il servizio dell'hotel è buono, il personale è amichevole, cerca di ascoltare e aiutare gli ospiti a rispondere alle domande. Le strutture sono standard di livello 2-3 stelle. Ci sono hotel che passano in autobus da aeroporto all'hotel, e hotel all'aeroporto, circa dieci minuti di viaggio. Sulla cibo, l'hotel ha indicato un buon colazione, il peso è sufficiente, ma devi chiedere alla reception di prendere il colazione per cambiare il volante.

Questa è la seconda volta che abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel. La prima volta era 7 mt fa, e stranamente abbastanza la piscina era ”chiusa” poi anche. Parcheggio è buono. Puoi trovare un tipo di colazione precoce in hotel gratuitamente. Abbiamo anche trovato un buffet nella stazione di Huskey attaccato per cena, che era ragionevolmente prezzi. È un edificio con date, ma pulito. Il personale è super, su entrambe le visite! - Signor Presidente, signore. - Signor Presidente, signore.

Checkinn is the new high standard hostel ..I've travelled to all the Toronto hostels and this newly renovated hostel is the Cadillac of hostels . I was a former staffer of the old park .this is a serious renovation of course with its Hongkong hostel standards ...check inn though a bit far from the main scene it's area is filled with super mkts and real Toronto street life . It could use a few study tables but the rooms r kept clean and a 24 hr sentry . Private rooms r my recommend forget hotels . They could use a few vending machines esp after hours . The tv is a bit too big and no one uses it . There r patios if u choose the right room . There isn't a cooking area but there r hot water auto dispensers . Fridges plenty . The only drawback is there r no set towel. The place is kept clean which is important .

One little bar of soap and very small for shower and washing hands one wash of shampoo . Asked for help with pur bags the guy lifted suitcase then went onhis pbo e Ihad toask him again to help us. There was a big Crack in the door opening I asked for tape he never returned could care at all my con wen for bugs, fly, bees.

Le regole sono super strane: non puoi aprire la finestra anche se la tua stanza è al secondo piano, nessun pericolo. L'odore nell'hotel è estremamente tossico a causa dei materiali per la pulizia che utilizzano. Quando entri nell'hotel, l'odore può farti cadere. Nelle stanze è meglio, ma puoi comunque sentire e non puoi fare nulla perché non puoi aprire la finestra. Ci hanno dato il secondo piano con una vista pessima mentre hanno 7 o 8 o più piani con una vista molto più bella. L'hotel non era così affollato: cerca di dare il meglio possibile al cliente, non qualunque cosa.

Io e il mio amico passavamo e avremmo dovuto fare qualcosa all'ultimo minuto. Eravamo così felici di trovare questo accordo. Abbiamo tutti il nostro spazio e le nostre letti. Il posto era molto pulito e tranquillo, ed era bello essere vicino a una zona forestale. Non c'è TV o microonde, ma c'è un frigorifero di dimensioni piene, bagno completo, AC.

The housekeeping service was disappointingly bad. The room has no towels when I checked in at 3pm and I called the reception to inform the problem and requested for the towels, but it took more than 2 hours for the towels to be delivered to my room. Moreover, the hotel requires a deposit of CAD200.00 when you checked in, which is not a common practice in most hotels.  Although the hotel will refund to you the deposit upon check out if your deposit is in cash but if you use a credit card, you have to wait for 5 to 7 working days before you will receive your refund.
