Hotel a 2 stelle in Québec, Canada

Good location, close to other services (restaurant, coffeeshop..), close to downtown . Room is large enough, can be cleaner around back door, fresher odor is needed. Staff is ok, some use language more fluently than others. Kitchen/ breakfast is full, relaxing. Parking is safe

La posizione è perfetta, proprio nel cuore del vecchio Québec. L'ostello offre un complimentare tour a piedi della città per gli ospiti, che è stato davvero interessante. Il desk front era molto bello e ci ha fornito grandi raccomandazioni di posti da mangiare. Il bagno può essere più pulito e più pulito. Ci sono diversi spazio condiviso per gli ospiti di godere, la caffè e la macchina da vendere per bevande a costi aggiuntivi.

Very unique looking decor. Everything looked new and was very clean. Super amenities. I prefer hotels to Air BnB and this had the extras like a stove, fridge, cooking pots and pans, dishes, utensils, kettle, and a N'Espresso machine. There is even a Metro grocery store around the corner and restaurants outside The downsides are that it appears to be in an ”interesting” part of town (I would not be comfortable walking alone as a woman), and stairs, no elevator. It was a challenge to bring up the luggage even to the second level. Otherwise a great place in Quebec City and within walking distance to the train station, which is why I chose it.

On the plus side, this hostel is in a PRIME location. We walked all over Old Quebec and loved it! The AC worked GREAT. The beds were pretty comfy. We were not very happy about the fact that we had booked a room through Trip.com that had a private bath. When we arrived they said that the reservation did not specify that, but I showed them the actual reservation and it DID say we had a private bath. They said there was nothing they could do about it and when I said that since I had PAID for a private bath I should at least get a discount, but they were unwilling to do this either. My travel partner said she heard some other people checking in another day and they had a similar problem with the shared bath, so we are wondering if it's a bait and switch thing with the hotel. We also told them the first morning that the light over the sink in our room was burned out or broken and she said they would have someone check it out when they came in. Nobody ever came. The shared bathroom was okay but could definitely be improved by adding a paper towel holder (there was a roll of paper towels sitting on the shelf for a few days, but eventually it all got used and it was not replaced before we left.

Molto buono per gli animali domestici

Pros: le camere sono grandi, pulite, confortevoli e hanno tutto quello che ti serve. Coni: La tassa per gli animali domestici è ridicola (40 dollari, e ne pagano anche le imposte, che non ha senso). Totale = 46 dollari. È la tassa più alta che ho pagato durante il mio viaggio da Montreal a Calgary. Ad esempio, in Ontario, Winnipeg e Saskatchewan, molti motel non prevedono nemmeno un canone per gli animali domestici. Ciò che altri luoghi fanno è un deposito rimborsabile in caso di danni, piuttosto che un canone non rimborsabile per nessun motivo specifico. Per questo motivo non ritornerò. Rumore: si può ascoltare tutto dalle camere vicine, in realtà una coppia ha argomentato molto forte e aggressivamente durante il mio soggiorno, anche urlando, che ha influenzato il mio senso di sicurezza. I membri del personale che erano vicini all'epoca dovrebbero essere vigili e intervenire in questa situazione.

Questa è la mia seconda volta che sono rimasto qui. La posizione è molto conveniente è nel centro, solo pochi minuti’ passeggiata alla metropolitana, e vicino a ristoranti e supermercati. La stanza è tuttavia molto vecchia. Ho sentito chiaramente le persone camminare in camera sopra, così come i bagni fluttuanti dalla stanza successiva. Sono stati forniti i bagni di base come lo shampoo, il condizionatore e il sapone, ma non sono stati inclusi scarpe o spazzole. Il letto e le mutandine erano confortevoli: avevo chiesto una stanza davanti alla strada principale, ma mi fu dato una stanza davanti a una luce interna bene con una vista diretta in un'altra stanza, quindi dovevo tenere le tende chiuse tutto il tempo. La colazione era solo buona, ma la selezione è limitata.Dall'altro lato, la macchina del caffè nel lobby è grande, e il tè e l'acqua sono disponibili in qualsiasi momento. In generale, un po'prezzo per quello che hai sono rimasto domenica e lunedì sera e ho pagato quasi $300 CAD (prima dell'imposta).
