Hotel a 3 stelle in Bengala Occidentale, India

Molto amichevole personale e buona posizione. Anche se 3 stelle sono un po 'alto. È piuttosto 2,5 stelle. Colazione è stato un buon inizio del giorno, continentale e indiano. La stanza era piccola e vecchia, ac rumore. Ma chi se ne frega; non vai a Kolkata per soggiornare nella tua stanza. C'era una terrazza sul tetto dove potresti mangiare e bere.Tutto in tutta la grande permanenza.

Good location for tourist spots but quite noisy if you don't like the constant noise of beeping horns from the nearby road (not sure if it is even possible to escape this in India). It did get better between say 10.30pm and 8am). The train (immediately outside the hotel entrance) screeches by but not frequently, boat engines can be heard in the distance but it's on a river 😅. It was a bit of a party boat on some nights (loud and late disco noise if there is an event). The noise stopped at around 9pm one night but went on much later on another night; if your room is close to the bar it may be an issue was wasn't too bad for me as i use ear plugs. The most irritating noise, believe it or not, is people shouting or having loud conversations in the corridors. The room is 3* and there is no safe for your passport, cash, cards etc. The pillows, bed covers and floors were't cleaned particularly well. I had to help myself to consumables from the corridor as they weren't topped up by cleaners. Anyway, a very brief stay could be a good experience, one night maybe.I am pleased to have had the experience and despite the shortfalls would probably recommend it as a one off unique experience, for one or two nights. The breakfast was very good with lovely river views and a chill atmosphere.

Excellent experience! the hotel got all necessary facilities as per the budget. Quick service. Front office is prompt and service is as per five star standards. Food quality is awesome and one must try fish and prawns. Only suggestion is to replace mattresses if possible.

I went to mirik on the 10th of september, 2023 & stayed at queen hill hotel & homestay. Amusing view from the balcony. Cheap & best price on proper mirik town beside the jhil. I'll also suggest the couple's to book queen hill hotel & homestay. On a moonlit night it will be an unbelievable experience. The entire hotel is neat & clean, also well decorated & hygienic maintained. Good food, very well & polite behaviour of all the staff.

Room and location was good worth for money but service and food was terribly horrible first day we have ordered veg fried rice and Schezwan noodle both were very pathetic and the noodle was loaded with black pepper only and the second day we have talk with the chef and explained previous experience so that they make us trust that they will make good food for us but they have took an hour for a single order it was an very horrible experience. For a bottle of water we have to wait 2 hours after many reminders while complaining regarding this the staff arguing with my wife , room telephone was not working and it was mentioned on first day and they repaired on the 3rd day of my stay. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone

This charming hotel is located very close to the airport. The staff is very warm and friendly and takes good care of their guest. The rooms are clean and spacious and reminded me of 5 star properties from back in the 90’s. A good place to host weddings as they have ample of space to organise all the various functions etc. Only and biggest drawback is the layout of the hotel. I really really recommend the owners/management accommodate another lift and staircase lobby as the hotel design is such that the rooms are quite far away from the main lift lobby and becomes a hassle to travel from one end to another

The room was ok but the moment I saw from close de bed had black long hairs here and there, and when I looked inside de bedsheets more hair was there, so my immediate thought was these bed is not clean . The hotel management should pay attention to this details as they say a lot about the category or standard of the place. Another thing was that toilet roll paper was not cleaned, so I had to ask for another one.  The best experience was the guardian who absolutely deserves 5 stars or more, he was attentive and very polite always helping with the door, bags and ready to answers a few questions.

The security guard and hotel staff were very nice and helpful people and assisted me whenever I needed anything. For the price it's a decent hotel and a 10 minute drive from the airport. A few of my blah experiences here were that the room was very stuffy & humid. It made me feel like I'm in a damp room for some reason. Everything felt very humid inside the room even with the fan/ Ac on. Remember to bring your own tissues because they don't provide any and to bring your earplugs because the hotel is on the main street. The constant honking and road traffic nose gets really frustrating.
