Hotel a 4 stelle in West Coast, Nuova Zelanda

We were greeted with warm hospitality by the owner Angela when we arrived to check into Franz Josef Oasis. The executive king suite room was clean, cosy and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the sofas with warm blankets place for our comfort near the fireplace. The location of this place is also good as it 5 minutes drive to the town where we had a delicious dinner at Blue Ice Restaurant and Bar which was recommended to us by Angela. The service is excellent and I will definitely recommend this place to those who are travelling to Franz Josef !

Sono felice di poter pagare un piccolo importo e di essere aggiornato in una stanza con le strutture di cui abbiamo bisogno. Amo il letto riscaldato. Camera spaziale. Amo il cane della casa che è venuto a chiederci addio appena prima di partire.  Se vai all'Hotel Heartland per cena, otterrai un 10% di sconto mostrando le chiavi della stanza.

The hotel is great within walking distance to the train station for Tranzalpine, restaurant in the hotel offer awesome food and drink, the room is slightly basic with no air conditioning, however it has a fan and a heater

Our stay at Haka House Franz Josef was a great experience overall. The property has a lively, social atmosphere that makes it easy to meet fellow travellers, yet it still offers quiet corners for those who prefer downtime. The common areas are spacious and well-kept, with a cozy lounge and kitchen facilities that make self-catering simple. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Franz Josef, within walking distance to cafes, shops, and the glacier activities. The bunk room we stayed in was basic but clean, with comfortable beds but limited storage and stuffy! It’s easy to see why it’s such a popular spot in town.

Siamo arrivati circa le 9:00 e la proprietà era piuttosto buia. Il reception desk aveva un stick sulla porta indicando la nostra assegnazione. avevamo prenotato 2 camere, ma purtroppo entrambe avevano bug (moto) in essi. Da quando siamo arrivati tardi, non ci sono nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno nemmeno ne Abbiamo trovato un bar vicino online che era stato annunciato come aperto fino alle 1:00, ma quando abbiamo chiamato, ci hanno informato che si stavano chiudendo presto a causa di una notte tranquilla. Tuttavia, erano gentili e ci preparavano alcuni chip, samosa e rulli di primavera, che apprezziamo come la nostra unica opzione per cena. Per gli ospiti che arrivano tardi, consiglio fortemente di consigliarli di acquistare cibo in anticipo.

Penso che sia uno dei migliori hotel legit a Franz Josef. Il personale è così bello. Ho dovuto cancellare 1 notte del mio soggiorno, perché la mia principale attività (il giro del ghiaccio) è stata cancellata a causa del cattivo tempo. L'hotel era abbastanza gentile da accogliermi e rimborsarmi 1 notte. È sicuramente un bel posto per stare.

The hotel is small but very clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient, with Super Liquor, New World, and several restaurants just across the road. It was easy to get everything we needed during our stay.

Our 2 bedroom unit is clean and spacious. The compound had many amenities Location easy access to all places of interest. Will stay again if I return for a visit.

We had been advised by a relative that this hotel on the beach was worth staying at. We had a deluxe room up on the hill across the main road so we were not actually on the beach. However the view of the ocean was fantastic particularly in the stormy weather. Due to the weather we had to drive down to the restaurant for breakfast. Restaurant fully booked out by tour groups for dinner but the tavern about 1.5km down the road saw us right for a meal. The complex seemed to have several different standards of rooms and I think ours was the best.

Everything was spot on, unit was beautifully clean and all were very friendly and helpful. Will stay again. Shirley & Richard
