Interesting neighbourhood, close to metro and airport bus terminal, rental bikes as well as city attraction. En suite bathrooms a bit old but clean and tidy. Good size rooms with fridge and aircon/heating. Decent breakfast and free coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall excellent value.

I have been several times to this hotel since its openning and I was alsways very much satisfied. But it was a while since I went and I was very much disappointed at my last visit during the first weekend of October 2025. First, entering the lobby was not a good experience as it was smelling bad like in a humid cave. The red carpet of the lobby had a lot of stains on it. When I got my room (12th floor), I was surprised that the toilet was not flushing. The flooring needed to be redone and the fabric of the bench at the foot of the bed was full of stains and disgusting. Also something very unusual is that there was no cold water in the shower! Only very hot, almost burning water! I couldn't take a shower. Usually it is the opposite (lack of hot water). I had to collect water in a container and let it cool a bit to use it...! I hope I had the worst room. The service at the front desk was ok. Nothing to complain about the service. It is just an hotel that need a little bit of investment to change the fabric and flooring and fix what need to be fixed.. No need to redo everything.

Best things are the view and the staff. Amazing location too. Very close to the walking bridge connecting Gatineau to Ottawa. Staff super polite, friendly, and helpful. Ambience too poorly looking with a smell of cleaning products that stinks. Linen were washed but a drop of blood stain on it (just throw out the damn thing). Also, too expensive for what it offers with no chance to cancel or modify. Wouldn't recommend

I’étais de passage pour une formation et j’ai appréciée mon séjour. Bel hotel! Ben situato vicino a Montreal. La camera era spaziosa con tutte le comodità (non ho mancato niente e c’era anche un angolo da pranzo e un ufficio con computer). È molto pratico il colazione incluso. La stanza riprende ogni giorno con nuovi asciugamani. Parcheggio privato e sicuro da una barriera. Solo un piccolo bemol, tutto dipende dai vostri vicini, ma potrebbe essere un po' rumoroso.

I would highly recommend this hotel, very classic, European style hotel, decent breakfast and a little gym that can get your whole body workout done. The room is very spacious and classic. Very friendly staff and I would definitely stay there again if I am in Montreal next time...

Mình và gia đình ở Sandman Montreal một đêm, thấy phòng khá ổn, giường ngủ rất thoải mái và sạch sẽ. Các tiện nghi cơ bản đều có đủ, tuy máy pha cà phê hơi cũ. Phòng hơi tối, thiếu đèn và máy lạnh thì khá ồn, không chỉnh được hướng gió nên hơi bất tiện. Bãi đỗ xe rộng rãi, nhân viên check-in nhanh chóng và lịch sự.

Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è un buon hotel. Quello che non mi piaceva è l'insonorizzazione della stanza, si sentono bene le persone che parlano nel corridoio, così il rumore della finestra. L'aria condizionata è rumorosa e non funzionava all'ultimo 1/4 della notte (2 volte mi alzo a causa del calore) Il colazione è davvero medio. Non potevamo nuotare nella piscina perché ci erano clienti che nuotano con i loro vestiti, nessuno li avvisò, io ho chiesto di farlo.

Staff was very nice and efficient. Check in and out went quickly.Rooms are clean bed and pillows were comfortable. Well located right beside highway to go to Québec city. From our room window we could see the highway but didn't hear it inside the room. The complimentary breakfast was delicious alot of variety ( scrambled eggs sausages cereal fruit etc.). They also cater to dietary restrictions. It was alot more than you're typical 1 toaster and dried muffins and bananas you get at other places. Will be going again when back in th area.

Excellent choix. Chambre bien propre, personnel disponible et aimable. Emplacement proche des commodités, magasins et centre commercial. Petit déjeuner très correct. A recommander

Un piccolo hotel chicco, che si trova direttamente sul tratto principale di Gatineau, la stanza era di grande dimensione, anche se la piccola stanza del bagno lasciava molto da desiderare; era vecchia, datata, così piccola che il bacino era nella stanza principale. Il letto era molto confortevole e la struttura del desk/TV era grande. Molte ricette convenienti per la condizionamento dei telefoni e simili. Il frigo nel tavolo ha fatto quel tavolo molto caldo e immagino che i frigoriferi non durerà quanto bruciato deve essere una cosa ... Strano, intorno a direzioni per arrivare al tubo caldo dalla nostra stanza; assicuratevi di lasciare una traccia di pane crumb o si può essere persi per sempre. Il personale del Front Desk era professionale e completamente bilingue, che è stato molto apprezzato.
