La stanza è più grande di quanto mi aspettassi. L'hotel è molto vicino al Tempio di Confucio. Ci sono molti negozi nelle vicinanze. Le cose preparate per gli ospiti nella stanza sono molto complete, più complete di alcuni hotel a cinque stelle cordiale e disponibile. Starò qui la prossima volta che verrò a Nanchino a vivere qui

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno fantastico a Suzhou all'Andu Hotel. Personale cordiale e camera davvero confortevole.
Ci sono molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze per il parcheggio e la cena, e anche per cena non abbiamo avuto problemi!
È anche vicino alle attrazioni.

Cosa mi è piaciuto: camera d'albergo elegante, in stile inglese, con un'ampia selezione di film, bevande del minibar di base, camera di categoria superiore con giardino privato, letto comodo, posizione meravigliosa ed esteticamente gradevole. Cosa non mi è piaciuto: la porta della veranda aperta all'arrivo per far uscire uno strano odore, anche se mi era stato detto che avrei potuto rimanere nella mia camera di categoria superiore la notte successiva se avessi deciso di prolungare la permanenza. In seguito mi è stato detto che non era possibile, sentivo letteralmente il rumore delle persone che usavano il bagno nel cuore della notte (grazie a Dio i film hanno contribuito a rendere tutto più silenzioso), lo scarico del water che sembrava il mio e nessuna colazione, di cui ero a conoscenza in anticipo. È abbastanza pulito ed è un buon posto dove dormire se si ha il sonno pesante. Ho pagato per la tecnologia e l'estetica e ho perso il sonno, costringendomi a fare il check-in in un altro hotel presto per dormire il giorno dopo, perdendo preziose ore di luce a causa della stanchezza derivante dal soggiorno in questo hotel. Purtroppo, non tornerò in questo hotel, anche se ho intenzione di visitare questa meravigliosa città molte altre volte.

The hotel staff were very friendly. My hotel room was super clean, including the carpets, linen, and bathroom. In the morning, breakfast was buffet, and there were many choices. Per il mio secondo soggiorno, l'hotel è di fronte alla stazione di Suzhou, il trasporto è molto conveniente, la metropolitana e l'autobus sono nelle vicinanze, è più conveniente che stare nel centro della città e non c'è traffico. Puoi andare a Tongli, al lago Jinji e ad altri punti panoramici prendendo la metropolitana. La camera dell'hotel è alta, grande e pulita. L'unico inconveniente è che l'aria condizionata è troppo rumorosa.

• 有幸住在文物裡，裝修很美，細節很多，處處見用心。難得的是美得實在，美得舒服。連住四天，一起涼亭用早餐，賞園景、看貓咪。餐後孩子回房在窗邊看書，窗外是一層層瓦頂。

Era la mia prima volta a Nanchino e ho visto questo hotel online. Ho deciso di provarlo. Il cameriere del ristorante è stato molto cordiale e premuroso. Si è preso l'iniziativa di illustrarmi gli snack locali di Nanchino e le attrazioni circostanti. Mi ha anche consigliato i noodles speciali a mezzogiorno, davvero buoni. I condimenti erano tutti gratuiti. È stata un'esperienza piacevole. Sceglierò di nuovo questo hotel quando tornerò a Nanchino in futuro.

XXavierasyI booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby.
The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt.
The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone.
The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!

TTheOGJayoAmazing hotel. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating! They upgraded us into a larger room as they felt the one we booked would be a bit too small for a family of four. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable (firm beds which we love) and the bathroom was modern.
The location is perfect: very quiet but close to busy areas. The hotel staff even helped us by doing laundry for us multiple times during our stay.
The owner gave us multiple teas to bring home, which were all delicious. Our girls loved the dog in the lobby too.
I would love to stay at this hotel again if I return back to Nanjing. We stayed at hotels in Beijing, Shenyang and Dalian and this hotel was much nicer than all of those hotels!
Note: my wife is Chinese, so that definitely helped with communication, but I feel the staff would have made us feel comfortable even if we only spoke English.

FFairy DeeThe hotel is lovely. Especially the service from the staff. Most of them speak English and are always willing to help. If anything goes wrong they make sure to correct it and leave you satisfied. Rooms are quiet and spacious. The breakfast is good , has bit of variety of western and Chinese food. The highlight for me was the food truck by the patio. It sells affordable and delicious hotdogs and very yummy ice-cream. there is a small water show in the evening as well . It’s also near a mall so many food options. A little far from the subway or train station but I’ll still give it a 10/10!

UUtente ospiteI am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me.
The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs.
Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful.
Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy.
As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels.
In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

Room
The room with queen sized bed is ideal for 1 person , but found it slightly small for 2 adults and 2 luggages
Stayed for 2 nights but had issues with the air con. I can read Chinese , adjusted the thermostat to 17deg, cool , at both manual and automatic settings but they remained a constant 23-24deg which was quite warm for us.
Noise
The cars in Nanjing will honk the entire day (and I mean it) , it's very different from Shanghai. Front of the hotel is a 1 way street and cars are always honking from day to late night as there will always be someone who decides to stop their vehicle... , so if you have a room facing the road like we did (and we were on one if the highest level), that might be a deal breaker
Gym
Well equipped. Don't think it belongs to the hotel and it's unmanned at the reception. Anyone from the public can take a lift up and enter . I hope th e hotel considers installing a card scanner, only allowing guests to enter.
Breakfast
Large variety but serving local style breakfast. So if you are after bacon, scrambled eggs etc..this is not for you .

UUtente ospiteSto viaggiando a Nanchino. Vorrei condividere la mia esperienza. I vantaggi di questo hotel sono:
1. È vicino all'ingresso della metropolitana. Ci vogliono circa otto-dieci minuti a piedi senza dover attraversare la strada. La stazione di Xinjiekou è vicina a tutte le principali attrazioni.
2. Ci sono moltissimi centri commerciali nelle vicinanze, tra cui Deji, Golden Eagle, New Department Store, Central, Golden Wheel, Friendship e marchi alimentari di lusso.
3. L'hotel è un edificio separato. L'ascensore sale al piano superiore con una tessera e non c'è attesa. L'ascensore è veloce e il robot per la consegna del cibo lo consegna rapidamente in camera, il che è molto comodo.
4. L'hotel ha buone recensioni per l'accettazione dei pacchi. Prima del mio viaggio, ho ordinato 15 pacchi e li ho spediti all'hotel. La reception li ha ricevuti tutti. Più tardi, hanno trovato due pacchi mancanti e il robot li ha consegnati. Uno era in ritardo, quindi la reception ha gentilmente rifiutato e lo ha restituito. Mi hanno anche dato dei souvenir di cioccolato al momento del check-in e della frutta al momento del check-out. Mi hanno persino dato dei timbri nella hall.
5: La pulizia della camera era abbastanza buona. Ci sono dei lavori in corso nelle vicinanze, ma il rumore non è forte. È generalmente tranquillo, con circa una dozzina di camere per piano. L'aria condizionata è molto fresca (inizialmente avevo prenotato l'Orange, ma il piano inferiore è in ristrutturazione, quindi condividevamo un edificio e abbiamo avuto difficoltà con l'ascensore, quindi ho cancellato). L'acqua calda esce subito. C'è una lavanderia al secondo piano. Basta portare giù i capi sporchi e indicare se possono essere mescolati, e loro li laveranno, asciugheranno e li consegneranno in camera.
6: La reception è stata attenta, paziente, gentile e accogliente, e il loro valore emotivo è stato molto buono.
Contro: La camera era un po' piccola, più piccola del previsto.

UUtente ospiteWe stayed at Atour for 3 nights, and while the bed and pillows were very comfortable—which we absolutely loved—the overall experience was unfortunately below expectations, especially compared to other Atour hotels we’ve stayed at.
The hotel is located in a very popular tourist area, which means there are crowds everywhere. I believe this also contributed to the staff looking visibly exhausted. We arrived at the official check-in time, but our room wasn’t ready because the previous guest had a late checkout benefit from their membership. To make up for it, the hotel upgraded us to a higher-tier room for the first night. However, we had to switch back to our originally booked room the next day, which was inconvenient and troublesome.
Both rooms were located in the annexe building across the street from the main hotel. The upgraded room was only one floor above the original one, with minimal difference other than being slightly bigger. We specifically booked a room with a river view, but to our surprise, tourists standing on the nearby bridge could look directly into our room — we verified this by checking the view from the bridge ourselves.
What disappointed us the most was the cleanliness. Our first room was very dusty, with sand and dirt on the floor, and the toilet walls had visible stains. Since we were staying just one night and were exhausted from traveling, we didn’t raise the issue. However, when speaking to the front desk about switching rooms the next day, I clearly requested that the next room be cleaned properly. Unfortunately, the second room was of similar condition, if not worse. The pillowcases were stained with black and yellow marks, and we had to request new ones late at night after returning from a long day out.
What makes this more surprising is that Atour is known for its great service, including the free laundry service where staff wash and return your clothes the next morning. This branch did not provide that service at all. Breakfast was also subpar and not worth topping up for.
Overall, this was the least enjoyable Atour experience we’ve had. The comfortable bed and pillows were the only highlights. We hope the hotel improves its cleanliness and service consistency to match the standards of other Atour locations.

SsteelbossI am from New York and am based in Suzhou, China. I stayed at this hotel during a busy holiday and was very concerned about Nanjing traffic. This hotel has an excellent location near the university city and many theme parks, such as Nanjing Happy Valley. The level of elegance of the rooms was comparable to the now-extinct 6-star rating. You would have to see it to believe it, including the electric toilets and beveled glass doors.
However, I decided to post a comment because of the restaurant. I have been in China for 23 years and usually travel for business. Breakfast at most hotels is not good, and nothing like in Western hotels. Because of this, I drove to a fancy restaurant and wasted a ton of money on horrible food. The next day, upon checkout, I decided to eat at the in-hotel restaurant and was totally shocked to find two interconnected dining facilities, consisting of a hot pot buffet on one side and an À la carte buffet on the other. I chose the À la carte because my son saw the grilled beef kabobs and had to have it.
Here is the best part: When you enter the buffet, you get a small card you pre-charge with money. I charged RMB 300, or about $41.66. You go through the buffet, take what you want, and swipe the card for each item. You only pay for what you eat. There had to be no less than 80 items on the buffet, from vegetable dishes, soups, pasta, beef (tenderloin), rib steak, short-rib steaks, fish, shrimp, traditional noodles, eggs, omelets, various bread, fruits, and many traditional Chinese dishes. There were four of us, and we were stuffed. Ultimately, I returned the charge card and was refunded RMB 35. This means I spent RMB 265 for four people or RMB 66.25 ($9.20) per person for a spectacular buffet.
This was hands-down the best hotel experience I've had in China, for room, and dining.
I really did not like one thing. A workstation outside deals with tiles, marble, masonry, and maintenance. It does not look good, and that was my view. The laydown area uses part of the parking lot. The yard needs to be cleaned up, and the work site covered or contained in a shop. This is a major management gaff void of marketing awareness. I still rate the hotel a 5-star.
