Managed to arrive early and allowed early check-in at 1pm plus instead of 4pm. The caucasian woman stationed at the check-in counter was not the most friendly person. I passed her my credit card and was waiting for her to instruct me to sign for receipt. After a long pause, i realized i have to do something with the machine, and asked her where do i click for the machine. She did not respond kindly. I understand not every American has travelled widely and tends to provide poorer quality services as compared internationally. Hereby pointing this out, as a matter of fact, the hotel need to understand not every country use the same brand of credit card machine/POS as the Americans. The hotel staff should not expect foreign guests to know how the machine or hotel works. Also, there is no instruction on the machine ‘Please sign here’. The staff should at least provide a verbal instruction for signature on the machine. If the staff cannot be bothered with providing verbal instructions, please paste a visual aid on the machine at the minimum. Thankfully, the asian guy during check out was much friendlier and tried to start a conversation, but i was having a cold so i tried to minimise interaction. The interiors were old fashioned like in 90s. Fortunately, the room was clean and lit with multiple lamps around the room. As with most reviews, I was charged twice on my credit card on first day and last day each. Asking for a refund through my card service now as unauthorised charge was made on the last day and it wasn’t even on the receipt/expense report. I would gladly just pay for everything on my Day one, instead of going through such trouble. No receipt for deposit or cancellation, unlike other hotels i have been to. Service and amenities are average. No slippers available in the room. Locker for valuables provided. Own coffee machine provided in-room, but don’t set high expectations as it’s not Nespresso. There is no in-room dining menu for reference, even if i want to get. 30$USD destination fee per night is compulsory but exchangeable for 2hr bike rental in central park for two pax or food in the hotel. It feels like the hotel wants to charge you extra but don’t want to provide the service paid. I didn’t bother to purchase food from hotel as the reviews were average. Recommend to visit Los Tacos No. 1 & Broad Nosh Bagels a few blocks away for breakfast and lunch. The best point and only positive point is the hotel location. Just behind MoMA and near proximity landmarks such as Rockefeller Centre, and two streets away from 5th Avenue and Central Park. Only stayed here for convenience as a friend was also staying in the same hotel for business needs.

Abbiamo avuto un'occasione sorprendente per il mio 52° compleanno con mia sorella. Tutti al resort erano grandi, e la parte migliore è la sua posizione. In realtà si può camminare in Canada dall'hotel! È meno di 30 minuti a piedi alla frontiera, ma assicurati di portare il tuo passaporto e qualche quarto per il ponte toll indietro agli Stati Uniti, che è solo $1.25.  Il personale dell'hotel è stato molto amichevole e utile.Abbiamo ordinato servizio in camera e siamo stati impressionati con la consegna rapida e la bella presentazione. Il resort offre anche diverse opzioni di cena, un completo ******, un spa, e una piscina, rendendolo un luogo ben arrotondato se siete lì per rilassarsi o esplorare.

Horrible experience with Service & Unnecessary charges a) After charging $40 + taxes, they give $30 free meal voucher every day. After Day-1 i realised it was more economical to not use the $30 voucher. Sounds strange but its very Interestingly structured. One orders an Avocado toast for $29 (within budget) from the in room menu.The guy delivers in 30mins with a bill of $52 of which its $29 of food, $10 of delivery charges and $13 of taxes totalling to $52. So 1st you are charged $40 as City charged and in lieu of that the coupon of $30 for food given to you even if u stuck to your understanding $30 you would have paid more than $52 means extra $22 It gets more interesting when they tell you, that you cant use this $30 for breakfast. This is like a Ponzi scheme. b) One of the rudest In-room dining call you will ever attend. I asked what is XXXXX, revert: you should read about it, this is not in my job profile, I only take orders. Fab experience 😍 c) I requested that since i was lactose intolerant could the hotel be kind to deliver 1/4 cup of Almond milk, just enough for a cup of tea. I am told that is possible and then a full cup of milk with $10 + taxes = $13 is charged for simple request of Almond milk. d) You are not eligible for even a single bottle of water in a so called 5star hotel or so. e) Servicing the room was not in list, had to go twice over to reception to ensure that room no is added to list of rooms to be serviced in the day. f) The Coffee machine wasnt working and one had to request for a simple electric kettle to warm water for tea/coffee. g) The Jet spray in the washroom commode was jammed and not working.

Grande posizione, buon ristorante e comodi letti. La posizione all'interno del Parco Springs Saratoga è molto bello. L'hotel è più vecchio e sicuramente mostra. Prenotamo un re Deluxe che era grande e aveva una passeggiata nel giardino. La camera da bagno era piccola, ma non era molto pulita.

The room was clean. It was in a wing of the complex that was separate from the main building and we had to cross an outdoor garden to get there. The toilet got clogged and maintenance arrived in 10 minutes to unclog. The Ac/heating unit was loud and kept going on and off all night. The buffet breakfast included was excellent in a lovely spacious dining area.

Il personale era grazioso e amichevole, il bar era fantastico e il divertimento era grande. Le opzioni del caffè mattina erano buone e apprezzare il caffè gratuito! Le camere erano spaziose e pulite, i letti erano comodi e amano il letto di dimensioni re! Il bagno aveva delle tinture sul muro che potevano essere pulite facilmente, così che era un po' grosso.Il doccia non era molto calda, ma era ok. Era con un gruppo di hockey (ben gestito) e so che il personale stava combattendo con un altro team che non collaborava alle aspettative e mi sentivo male per loro, un sacco di credito per la loro pazienza. In generale, rimarrebbe qui al 100%.

Common areas are stunningly restored, blending classic New York grandeur with modern comfort. Everything—from the lobby to the elevators—felt meticulously maintained. The location is unbeatable. Being in the heart of Midtown made it effortless to get to meetings, restaurants, and landmarks. Despite the central location, the hotel felt like a calm retreat from the city’s energy. Overall, my stay was smooth, comfortable, and memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend the Waldorf Astoria to anyone seeking a luxurious and well‑run hotel in New York.

Ambiente: anche se l'hotel è vecchio, è relativamente pulito e la posizione è ottima. Central Park è al piano di sotto. Servizio: I camerieri sono molto cordiali ed entusiasti, sento che sono molto attivi nel loro lavoro e prenderanno l'iniziativa per salutare. Ci è stata data anche una bottiglia di champagne Trump, che era davvero deliziosa. Strutture: C'è una palestra e una piscina al piano di sotto, che sono molto buone. Ci sono poche persone C'è il Michelin Jean Georges accanto al primo piano. La reception dell'hotel può aiutare a effettuare le prenotazioni.

L'installazione del corridoio dell'hotel può vedere che è un po'antica. La decorazione interna della stanza è buona. Non c'è alcun accordo paesaggistico

Onestamente, consiglierei sicuramente questo hotel. È vicino a tutti i mezzi di trasporto, comprese le stazioni della metropolitana di Times Square e Port Authority. Il personale è davvero straordinario e la colazione è più che abbondante. E per le famiglie, è un piacere portarla con sé. Hanno sempre un sorriso e una gentilezza straordinari, sia alla reception che in camera, Alexandra e Andres sono super disponibili, e le camere sono impeccabili. Le donne delle pulizie sono impeccabili, ogni giorno abbiamo diritto a una camera eccezionale, con asciugamani, shampoo e sapone OPTi.
