Second time booking the Riani Beachfront.. Place is Showing signs of wear and tear. Nevertheless it's a peaceful and serene place to unwind. Be prepared for insects as the it's as close to nature as it can get. Hotel staffs are warm, welcoming and very approachable.
It's not representative of the typical Batam experience (i.e. shopping) but an excellent place for retreat for those who wish to reconnect with themselves. If it helps The city centre is 30 minutes away but it is easy and cheap to book a grab (Back and forth $30 maximum)
Breakfast was a delicious array of authentic Indonesian dishes.. But could do with more variety / change of menu on daily basis. Hopefully I could try the sunset BBQ Buffet offer on my next visit.

Super fantastico come la cucina. Molto fantastico e amichevole personale. Il colazione era super timido! Sicuramente tornerà di nuovo. Ho portato mia madre e abbiamo avuto tempo di qualità. L'hotel non è molto lontano dalla spiaggia. Buona distanza a piedi dopo il pesante colazione! Avete accesso anche alla piscina e alla palestra di Angsana. Va bene la prossima esplorazione. La piscina ha attività come Zumba e la piscina a schiuma.

Had a very good stay in Banyan Tree, we like the spacious villa either our own jacuzzi. Room was clean and appreciate the staff to prepare our room for night setup, with the mosquito nets and cools. Food was good and had good selection too. Spa massage was also good. You can ask the buggy to drive you anywhere within the resort and their sister hotels. Staffs are all friendly and always greet with a smile.
Just take note a lots of insects so bring your insect repellent. And don’t have complimentary shuttle from ferry terminal, its chargeable. The TV is old model so cant cast your phone to watch Netflix. The telephone line will cutoff during rainy days, however, whatsapp service and will still be contactable with the reception.
Overall a good stay if you want a private and relaxing holiday.

Hotel is 10-15 minutes drive away from mega mall and grand Batam mall. Grab is easy to get. We didn’t take it but the hotel also offers shuttle to the malls which was nice. We chose the location for the view away from the city buildings! Saw they had a small soccer and archery area, good for kids. Room was alright, nice view. Great gym, breakfast, and reception service from Mr Hary!

Avere una memorabile esperienza di soggiorno a Brevely Hotel Batam durante il mio recente viaggio con amici. Devo dire che la stanza è enorme per il deluxe King e il personale sono super amici.Colazione giornaliera con opzioni medie ma cibo sono delizioso.Purtroppo la piscina è in fase di rinnovamento.
In generale, un soggiorno presente in questo hotel sicuramente consiglia agli amici di sperimentare il soggiorno

Il miglior hotel dell'isola di Natuna, un buon ambiente hotelico, i dipendenti sono anche felici di aiutare e molto amichevole.L'hotel offre anche visite di salto e altri progetti per conoscere meglio l'isola di Natuna.La colazione è limitata, ma ha un buon sapore. Il personale qui è il più memorabile che io e Dian siamo amici.Questo è l'hotel che tornerò.

Just for a small feedback I hope your management can look into it.
The swimming pool and the ladder is too steep hope can change to wider for the elderly or young children to step on it. Hope can do a step in front of the ladder, elderly or disabled guests to step down from the platform of the swimming pool.
The toilet most of the shower head needs to upgrade.
We will inform our friends and family come over here to enjoy it. We will back here again .

Quattro punti l'hanno fatto di nuovo!! Siamo sempre soddisfatti dei loro servizi e di nuovo qui, a Bintan, siamo soddisfatti anche noi. Infatti, abbiamo deciso che se andassimo a Bintan di nuovo, avremmo scelto quattro punti! L'hotel è molto pulito e la custodia è in corso. Una persona che ha bisogno di un grido è solo Bahar. Ha fatto un lavoro meraviglioso per pulire la nostra stanza. Per renderla più dolce, aggiunge note sul nostro letto con una bella tovagliola! Inoltre, la rapida diffusione era lodevole con un cambiamento di diffusione giornaliera. Pertanto i nostri 4 giorni ci sono stati deliziosi con un grande inizio al nostro colazione mattina! Kudos al cuoco per un delizioso menu giornaliero..

UUtente ospiteIo e il mio amico abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso in questa struttura. L'atmosfera era tranquilla e la nostra camera era pulita e spaziosa. Il servizio è stato fantastico, con personale cordiale e attento! L'hotel si trova a circa 1 ora e 20 minuti dal terminal dei traghetti di Bintan, il che lo rende un po' isolato dalle zone più affollate. Se preferite un'atmosfera vivace, la vita da spiaggia e un lungomare pulito, questo hotel potrebbe non essere la scelta migliore. Tuttavia, se cercate tranquillità e un posto dove rilassarvi e chiacchierare con un buon amico, questo è il posto perfetto!
Un inconveniente che abbiamo riscontrato è stata la presenza di insetti volanti. Durante i pasti, soprattutto la sera, mosche e zanzare ci svolazzavano intorno. Inoltre, c'erano gatti randagi nelle vicinanze, il che potrebbe essere un problema se non amate i gatti.
Detto questo, ci siamo davvero goduti il nostro soggiorno!

RRainbowsIt's a mere 10 mins car ride from harbour bay ferry terminal. We booked 2 rooms and requested for connecting room, the beds in twin room were huge cos they combined 2 super single beds. Service was pretty good 8/10 for me, though some junior staff were not so experienced or conversant in english but they tried their best. Told 1 service staff that we were short of 1 set of cutlery, he nodded and went into the kitchen, came out but resumed with his usual duties. I wasnt sure if he understood or he forgot about my request but i approached another staff who quickly attended to our request. We stayed for 2 nights and both breakfast menu were the same. There werent much choice at the breakfast table given it is a 4-star hotel. I stayed during the vesak day long holiday weekend and surprisingly it wasnt as crowded as i expected, in fact tables are readily available when i went at 9.30am. Pool is small and the kids complained of pool residue when they showered. Ordered grab food and they will call to ask if we would prefer self collection or have it delivered to the room. Water pressure was low and i took double the time to shower. If u are not fussy with the water pressure, it's quite a nice place to stay.

TThomas96I miei amici e io abbiamo soggiornato di recente all'Hotel e Residence Nagoya Mansion, e in generale, è stata un'esperienza soddisfacente.L'hotel è in una posizione molto conveniente, a pochi passi dal centro commerciale Nagoya Hill, rendendolo ideale per shopping e cena.
Le camere erano medie ma adeguate, e la pulizia era fino a standard. Anche se l’assenza di un asciugacapelli nella camera era un piccolo inconveniente, il personale amichevole e professionale era più che compiuto per questo. Sono stati molto accoglienti, anche organizzandoci per controllare in anticipo senza alcuna tassa supplementare, che è stato molto apprezzato.
In generale, è stato un piacevole soggiorno. La posizione conveniente e l'eccellente servizio dell'hotel lo rendono molto consigliabile agli altri. Con alcuni miglioramenti alle strutture, sarebbe perfetto!

KKohAbbiamo avuto un soggiorno davvero meraviglioso 3D2N a Natra Bintan, celebrando un compleanno sorprendente per il nostro amico! La tenda di lusso è stata eccezionalmente ben mantenuta. Un enorme grido al personale, che era incredibilmente amichevole e attento, anche assistendo con le nostre sorprese di entrata.
Il ristorante del Patio ci ha fatto piacere il cibo, e il diner DIY BBQ fuori dalla nostra tenda è stato un punto di vista deciso. La vicinanza al Anmon Resort per ulteriori scelte alimentari e l'opzione di un massaggio al Tesoro Bay aggiunge un valore ancora maggiore alla posizione.

EErica tayThis is my second visit to Montigo (Villa 102), and my first stay was just 3 months ago. Sadly, this time was full of issues:
• Pool light not working on first night, repaired but failed again the next night.
• Stagnant water around the pool caused me and my daughter to slip and fall.
• Was not informed beforehand that the cabana area was under upgrading.
• Pool tiles coming off inside the villa pool.
• Power tripped on the first night while we were sleeping — aircon and lights went off. Staff offered to check but I was too tired and told them to check after I checked out.
• First day was very tiring as I had to keep opening the door for staff to fix many issues.
• Fridge was not cold throughout the stay.
Although the villa condition needs serious maintenance, the service from the staff was still very good. Michael has been very nice and friendly throughout both of my stays. He helped us with the BBQ setup and also handled the breakfast station. Really appreciate his warm and attentive service — made our stay more enjoyable despite all the problems. Thank you, Michael, and keep up the good work!

MMrSenThis could be a 5* thing, for now it feels more like 4 to 4.5 * for me. Let me explain.
First of all, there are many really big upsides for the Nirwana Resort:
- The hotel is in a wonderful location. The beach directly in front of the hotel is beautiful, however if you explore a little further, the beach right next (connected to some rentable mini-houses) is also part of the Nirwana area and even cleaner and more inviting for a direct swim.
- The room was even nicer than anticipated via the photos. Everything was tastefully designed, clean and room-service did a great job daily. The hotel itself is abut 35 years old, very close to the sea and constantly exposed to salty winds. It's just amazing that they managed to maintain the open-corridors in such a great condition. There's a lot of wooden features (which look really good imho).
- The staff is friendly and helpful. You will find plenty of activities if that is your thing.
Now to the kinda neutral part: Some of the in-hotel facilities were not available during our stay. For example to get to the gym you had to switch to another building a few hundret meters away. You still get everything you need, so it's not really a complaint - more a thing of convenience but since all the surrounding area is pretty nice I would recommend exploring a bit anyway.
The two main negative factors were:
- It's a very secluded resort and there is no normal supermarket or anything similar nearby for basic daily needs like water or what-have-you. This means you will need to pay mega-premiums. 1 L of water costs over 100k Rupias or about 7 to 8 USD. A small bottle of coke is about $3.5. Same goes for all other snacks, drinks and foods. They are very overpriced, just because you don't have a choice. Another example: A pizza + a ”gourmet” burger were close to $50. I wouldn't even complain if it was really ”gourmet”. However not even close: You can eat both, it's not terrible but it's very basic, the pizza too dry and kinda small, the burger the most boring I had in years and not great beef at all.
Same goes for all the other food we had in the in-house restaurant. It's not bad but every dish feels like something is a bit off or missing or just very basic. Especially for the premium price you pay this seems not right.
There are two more restaurants within ~1km walking distance: An indian restaurant. Pricing is on the higher side but more reasonable than the indoor restaurant. Tandoori chicken was over-spiced (not hot just too strong taste with nothing to compliment it) and very dry/boring. The infamous butter chicken was great, though. I would recommend the ”Spicy restaurant” (4 stars) but make sure you get something with sauce.
And then there is a seafood restaurant. It's really pricy (especially when compared to seafood in Batam for example) but you get an incredible fresh and well seasoned fish/crab/prawn selection that makes it worth 100% to visit. Also the view is fantastic.
I actually would rate this whole experience 5 stars - if you would get the basics (water, coke, some smaller snacks) for a fair price; right now this part feels a bit like a rip-off.
Also, local taxi service is a bit over-priced, same goes for activities. I really don't mind spending more, but there needs to be a balance where you don't feel taken advantage of.
If you don't care about that, I would fully recommend the stay at Nirwana Hotel.

Così servizio buono. Distanza dalla città. Nessun traghetto complimentare per i centri. Lounge ha musica vivente e show magico dopo le 8:00. Grande per coloro che vogliono solo rimanere sulla spiaggia.

GGeorg ChristopherThe hotel and its facilities are very nice. Here and there a few spots of improvements needed but otherwise a very attractive hotel with lovely features. A very pleasant stay starts with a dedicated lounge at the ferry terminal which is available upon arrival and departure (taking care of your visa and other requirements). Travel to the actual hotel is within short 20 minutes by hotel shuttle bus. You can chose between colonial style suites at the main building or near by or Thai/ Bali style villas on the large ground and a short walk away from the main building. The Thai villas are very nice, filled with all the necessary amenities and some top of the range products. Plenty of storage space, outdoor veranda seating and well kept exterior make it really nice. At the main section, the pool is with its 50 meter in length a true highlight, together with the very easy and close proximity to the pristine and huge beach section. Although facing north, the beach is actually in a bay and can be explored for hours. Also well worth mentioning is the spa which provides truly amazing treatments administered by very experienced therapists who will truly pamper you from start to finish.
Regrettably, there are also a number of shortcomings. Although the hotel provides insect repellant for your daily use, even the best of preventions and best of cleaning/ spraying efforts of the staff will not stop billions of sand flees attacking you on the beach, especially after rain or during the evening hours when you become their dinner.
However, the biggest drawback is the food and beverage section. For a hotel operating in such a high price category, the restaurant is a true letdown perhaps even the sole reason for not coming back again. Yes staff everywhere is very friendly, attentive and making it their business to know you by your first name from the start, but the entire food and beverage section requires a lot of improvements to even get close to a star rated service. Yes the drinks are well made (guess can be expected at prices of US$20 plus) but the restaurant service truly lacks what it takes. The food, expensive as it is, lacks any sort of imagination, is void of any special touches, and surely does not represent Indonesian cuisine in any shape or form. As said, staff are very friendly and trying their best however, if they are not taught the basics or led by indifferent managers, then things need to change. Management comes from the top.
In summary, if you are looking for a nice place to relax in a colonial style building, not too crowded with a lovely pool, then please try the Sanchaya. However, if you looking for cuisine which is anything but poor, not even ordinary, then you better look elsewhere.

UUtente anonimoOverall, we had an enjoyable stay at Holiday Inn Resort Bintan. Cleanliness was generally good, although the floor was still a little dusty. One small inconvenience was the lack of hooks in the toilet to hang towels, and the pillows were too soft for our liking—made sleeping a bit uncomfortable. For a 5-star resort, the complimentary toiletries were minimal (only toothbrush and toothpaste provided), and there was no iron or bathrobe in the room, although an iron and board can be requested.
The resort is not located near food outlets, so transport is needed if you want to explore outside. That said, the in-room dining exceeded our expectations—the steak is a must-try, absolutely superb! The resort also offers many facilities, which kept us occupied throughout our stay.
Big shout-out to the resort crew—they were incredibly helpful and responsive, even assisting with printing our boarding pass and explaining the complimentary land transfer. One area that could be improved is the ferry bus arrangement. It got quite crowded during boarding and we didn’t realize a second bus was coming, so our group got split up unnecessarily. It would be helpful if a staff member could assist in organizing guests.
Despite the few areas for improvement, we definitely plan to return. The hospitality and facilities made it a memorable stay!

UUtente anonimoService started right after pass immigration at the ferry terminal. They provide free shuttle to the hotel from terminal and we were surprised they already have our name on their list even though we did not inform them we are coming via ferry. Good service from all hotel staff and I love that we can get their help and services via whatapps instead of calling the reception or walking to the lobby. As there are nothing much to do in the hotel, a short staycation would be enough.
Breakfast buffet was ok, would be better if have more choices. We had dinner at Stix Satay Bar and it was good.
