Cipro: hotel con spa nella provincia di Distretto di Nicosia

I booked this hotel as a nice few nights away with my partner for her birthday. I emailed the hotel on 3 different occasions prior to arrival for recommendations for a luxury restaurant meal. Not a single reply! I did not expect any preferential treatment for my partners birthday but not a single welcome, happy birthday, bottle of wine, bowl of fruit. Nothing. When we checked into our room the plug in the bath would not open and the handle on the wall, for safety getting in and out of the bath was hanging loose. One evening the electricity went completely out and we were left in total darkness. The hotel did not have any safety lighting in the room or corridor. If we did not have a light on our phones, we would be crawling around trying to get out. This is a health and safety failure of the biggest. How did this pass fire safety regulations? The pool is under cover near a relaxing area and also a dining area. It's a lovely big pool but it was freezing cold. A 5 star hotel should be capable of keeping it warm. I doubt anybody will use it now until next year when the sun shines through the glass roof to heat it up. It's a waste because it could be used. I took a pair of trousers and shirt for our birthday meal but they needed a quick iron. The hotel does NOT have an iron!!!! I would have to use the laundry service that would cost over £10 to iron my shirt and trousers. They did not need washing. And it would take how long. I have never been to any hotel that could not provide an iron o4 an area, where I could quickly iron a few creases out of my clothes. At breakfast I asked for English breakfast tea. Initially it was good then they bought me Earl Grey. I put milk in and then realised it was wrong once I tasted it. I sent it back and did receive English breakfast tea. However, 10 minutes later I asked for another. They simply microwaved previous cup of earl grey that I had sent back out brought it out to me. I know, because it had the milk and sugar already in it. Disgusting.. All in all, I was not impressed and I will certainly be looking at other 5 star hotels in the area in future. Disappointing

Ottimo Hotel in vicinanza del centro (circa 1,5km a piedi ) curato nei dettagli e personale molto disponibile, offre sia a pranzo che a cena un buffet molto variegato. E disposto in una via laterale così da evitare il traffico, le camere dispongo anche di prese europee

The Map hotel is new, it’s spotlessly clean, the beds are excellent, the staff are so helpful and the breakfasts are amazingly good. Plus, the hotel is central and a very short walk away from everything that’s interesting in the city. There is safe free car parking opposite the hotel too. For those interested, there is a spa … and the same high grade Elemis spa products are available free in the room - an excellent touch. Best of all, was definitely the breakfast - possibly the best in any hotel ever. It was incredible. 100% score with 0% complaints. Just perfect. Thank you Map hotel.

La struttura è molto pulita e confortevole, con personale molto amichevole e auspicabile. La parte inferiore era il bagno in suite. C’era un passo per entrare, molto piccolo spazio al letto, poi due passi alti per arrivare al bagno e alla doccia. Molto difficile accedere al doccia nel bagno, perché c’è una porta di vetro swing per negoziare. Non riesco a capire perché nessun designer o architetto pensa che sia una buona idea! Mio marito si è caduto le scale quando uscì dal doccia, ma fortunatamente si è recuperato e non è ferito. La finestra a pieno aperto che guarda la strada principale non ha cortine di privacy. Quindi siete aperti ai vigili del fuoco che guardano, o nel buio!

From arrival to exit, the staff members were warm and helpful. The hotel is very clean; the bed is very comfortable and overall, the rooms are well kept. The breakfast is good and the coffee is perfect! The location is right next to a street that is very much alive! I really recommend the hotel.

Location is perfect and central for access all the key places in Nicosia. The market, the border between north and south, coach access to go anywhere are all within walking distance. I will make sure to always stay at Cleopatra whenever I am in Cyprus. Thanks Cosmos for showing us how to go anywhere we ask to.

This hotel has a mix of excellent and poor aspects. Its reception and managerial staff are excellent (and deal with all issues professionally and well) and the location (once you get there - as it is a long and winding road from Paphos) is great. However, the rooms are very variable. The family rooms are very poor: they are one two floors with a narrow staircase, which makes carrying children's equipment and suitcases very difficult; and have damp and small bathrooms with poor amenities. In contrast, the rooms closer to the reception, which have clearly had a much better renovation, are high quality, offering very good amenities. The main restaurant does not have enough variety of menu options, especially if eating there for more than one dinner, and the staff there need much better training if it wants to be a 4 or 5 star hotel, as too many were not good.

This was an extremely charming, elegant apartment and especially the view of Nicosia from my room was amazing. The apartment is located in the centre of Nicosia and you can easily walk to the old town of Nicosia, within the walls. There are various restaurants and bars close by. The receptionist Karina was extremely helpful and welcoming. She went out of her way to be extremely kind and made me feel that my experience at the hotel was personally important to her. Would highly recommend a stay.

Questo posto ha una lunga storia e esiste già nel 1950s. Poiché non si dovrebbe aspettare un nuovo hotel completamente ristrutturato, ma un bel posto per riposare dopo un'ora di passeggiata. Le camere sono pulite e alcuni hanno un balcone che si guarda alla bella valle e all'olimpo. Il personale parla inglese e era molto amichevole. L'hotel è pulito e tutto quello che si può mangiare colazione per 6,50€ per persona è meglio godere sulla terrazza fuori. Le camere non hanno aria condizionata, ma un po'di fan, così sarà caldo in estate. Rimanerei completamente lì!
