Hotel is next to star ****** and walking distance to board beach. Hotel is looking pretty new and in fact, has been opened for few years.
The only down side was the house keeping on one of the night. We booked for 3 rooms for 3 nights, on the first day, the house keeping was completely messed up. 3x Rooms did make up (partly) with soil towels (one of the room only has bed tidy up, nothing else) and etc were collected, however, no cleaned towels replaced, bin still full.
Without this drama, this hotel is good.

La posizione del resort è molto buona, sul fiume, vicino alla zona centrale del Paradiso Surfers e a piedi distanza dalla spiaggia.Ha un sacco di garage gratuito e sul parcheggio.Ha cortile da tennis, bella piscina con spa all'aperto caldo, palestra e sauna secca. Tutti i ragazzi del servizio erano molto attenti e utili. Il fondo è che il resort è vecchio e ha bisogno di molta manutenzione. Tutti gli ambienti comuni hanno bisogno di un ascensore facciale. Tutti gli unità hanno proprietari individuali. La mia unità era bloccata nel bagno e la materassi nel dormitorio era sposata e sbattuta su un lato.

Abbiamo soggiornato lì per 3 notti per la nostra vacanza.
Tutto ciò che ci era grande era pulito, così come il bellissimo vecchio edificio era ben mantenuto.
Il prezzo è stato ragionevole per la qualità dell'interno e delle strutture nella stanza, i servizi e la posizione. Prenoteremmo di nuovo questo hotel se andassimo a Brisbane in futuro.

L'hotel è nella media, con un'ottima posizione e pulizia. I servizi sembrano ben tenuti. La reception si trova su un lato, mentre l'altro lato è vicino alla laguna e ospita un bar.
Gli svantaggi sono che Cairns è una piccola città e gli hotel non sono economici, offrendo generalmente un rapporto qualità-prezzo basso. Inoltre, per raggiungere la stanza Flynn bisogna percorrere un corridoio al secondo piano e poi scendere al piano successivo dalla reception, il che è un po' scomodo.

Ho prenotato questo hotel durante un viaggio d'affari per concedermi due giorni in più per giocare. Nel complesso è abbastanza buono. Anche se non è all'altezza di un hotel a stelle, dispone di tutti i servizi di base. Il materasso è un po' troppo morbido, è un letto a molle. Ma per il prezzo, è abbastanza conveniente. Nel complesso molto soddisfatto.

In fondo all'hotel c'è un supermercato chiamato Woolworths. La posizione è buona vicino a tutto. La stanza stessa è spaziosa. I servizi sono piuttosto lento ma va bene. Li ho inviati per e-mail per una piccola richiesta, ma senza risposta. In generale, è molto buono rimanere lì probabilmente resterà lì di nuovo

Ssuper fishWe stayed for four nights over the Easter holiday in a panorama sea view room in the new tower.
First of all, the location is excellent. The pool area has a sandy beach, and compared to the Hilton next door, the water was much clearer and very pleasant. The view is absolutely beautiful. However, when the tide goes out, it turns into what feels like a “panoramic mudflat view,” so I would recommend carefully considering the timing of your stay.
On the other hand, there were several issues with the room. There is no balcony, and the windows cannot be opened. There were mosquitoes in the room, and I was bitten multiple times, which caused itching and swelling. The insect repellent device in the hallway was empty, which made me question the quality of housekeeping management. When I spoke to a female staff member at reception, I was told that only body spray repellent was available, and no further assistance was offered, so I had to purchase and install my own insect repellent.
In addition, there was a sewage-like smell coming from the bathroom. The mirror and sink were not properly cleaned and appeared dirty. The room and hallway also had a moldy smell, and due to the humidity, the bed linens felt damp. The duvet was thin and not very comfortable. As I am sensitive to smells, these issues made me feel nauseous and unwell.
Later, my husband spoke to a male staff member at reception. Although the hotel was fully booked and we were unable to change rooms, he responded with sincerity, apologized thoroughly, and instructed housekeeping to carry out a deep cleaning. When we returned from going out, the bathroom had been properly cleaned and the sewage smell was gone. The moldy smell in the room did not completely disappear, but it had been masked with deodorizer, and we were able to sleep well that night.
However, the same issues returned the following day. As it was the Easter holiday and other hotels were fully booked, we had no choice but to stay until the end of our reservation. Afterward, I checked reviews and found many similar complaints about the moldy smell, which made me regret not researching more thoroughly beforehand. I had assumed that as a five-star hotel, it would be fine.
Overall, the reception staff were kind, friendly, and professional. In particular, the male staff member who assisted us was excellent. On the other hand, I felt that the quality of housekeeping needs improvement.
In my opinion, these issues are largely due to a design flaw—specifically, the building was designed with aesthetics prioritized over functionality by the construction company and architect, resulting in rooms where windows cannot be opened despite the humid tropical climate. The older tower, which has balconies and windows that can be opened, may not have the same problems.
I would not recommend this hotel to those who are sensitive to smells, but for those who are not, it can still be a wonderful place to stay given its location and facilities.

UUtente ospiteSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.

TTraveller354After reading very mixed reviews, we went ahead and booked it. The result: very mixed feelings.
The location was beautiful, the sights breathtaking, the animals adorable, but when it came to actually spending time there, there wasn’t much to do.
We arrived on a later ferry so we knew we wouldn’t have much time to enjoy the sun after arrival, however because of a mix up, our suitcases went missing for an hour making us miss any chance of getting in the pool while it was hot out.
After, we went for dinner. There are only 2 restaurants available, and without making a reservation before hand, it’s a bit hard to go when you want. The food was ok, but expensive as one would expect from a place like this. Once dinner was finished, the evening entertainment (Alice in Wonderland screening) was already underway and we found ourselves with nothing to do at 9pm.
Early night for us.
The following day we planned a day of snorkelling, stingray feeding and kayaking.
We appreciated the free snorkel gear as well as the clear safety instructions and recommendations of the lifeguard. The sting Ray feeding experience was amazing and it was clear the staff knew what they were talking about and were passionate about the animals.
Kayaking and other water sports were cancelled however because of the high winds, leaving us, once again, with nothing to do. Early dinner (very entertaining moment with wallabies attempting to steal our food and being super cuddly), a walk around the beach, movie in the room, and early bedtime.
So all in all, beautiful location with great experiences of the weather allow, make sure to bring some entertainment if the water is too cold to swim in the pool or the weather turns sour. Maybe a book or some board games?
Also: if you want food in the late afternoon, make sure you bring some snacks as there is a limited selection available.

RRoxrctAbbiamo prenotato The Langham sulla Costa d'oro per la nostra luna di miele. E' un bel hotel, ma posso dire sinceramente che non vale più di 550 dollari per notte che abbiamo pagato. Ho elencato i positivi e i negativi qui sotto:
Positivi:
- c'era una bella nota e una piccola tazza di cioccolato nella stanza che ci desiderava una bella luna di miele
- Il personale è molto amichevole/benvenuto
- La vista dell'oceano era sorprendente dalla stanza dell'hotel
- strutture - liceo è completamente attrezzato con vista sull'oceano/strada
- Bathtub era carino.
- Accesso facile alla spiaggia
Negativi:
- C’erano delle pelli sulle foglie. Quando arrivammo, ho notato due pelli in luoghi separati sulle foglie (nota: erano pelli secche). Sono andato in ricevimento e hanno detto che avrebbero mandato i custodi per cambiare le foglie. Come consigliato, una donna è arrivata a cambiare le foglie. Purtroppo non ho controllato le nuove foglie e ne ho anche trovato delle pelli. Sono tornato alla ricezione e hanno detto che avrebbero mandato un supervisore di nuovo a guardare le foglie. Due persone sono venute in camera, si sono scusate e hanno cambiato le schede di nuovo (sta volta ho controllato). L'hotel ci ha dato una bottiglia di vino, qualche balm o spray di labbra che era un bel gesto come scusa, ma molte foglie di colore per ciò che si intende essere un hotel 5 stelle è molto deludente.
- L'importo di preautorizzazione (hold) al check-in è $200 al giorno, quindi $1,000 per un soggiorno di 5 notti. Questo è ridicolo. Non so perché detengono che considerando la maggior parte degli hotel, anche 5 stelle hotel che ho soggiornato, detengono $100-200 per un soggiorno. Su una nota positiva, è tornato nel mio conto subito al check-out
