Filippine: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Mimaropa

La posizione è molto buona, a soli 5 minuti dal molo e molto vicino al centro città.Il tuk-tuk costa 30 pesos a persona, anche se non ci sono molti negozi decenti nel centro città. Il servizio è molto buono, l'igiene è buona e ci sono 3 piscine, di cui una per bambini. La reception è stata molto gentile e ha preso l'iniziativa per aiutarci a contattare il servizio di connessione dell'hotel successivo, il che è stato semplice. Gli articoli da toeletta sono relativamente rudimentali, non c'è il balsamo, la qualità dello shampoo non è molto buona e il condizionatore d'aria della finestra nella stanza è troppo rumoroso. Ho deciso di soggiornare qui solo per la comodità di andare al mare, non c'è spiaggia, ma altri hotel in questa zona non hanno spiagge, questa non è una località balneare innanzitutto. Il ristorante non è grande e la colazione è piuttosto ricca, i tre tipi di porridge sono davvero deliziosi e anche i pasticcini sono abbastanza buoni.

L'hotel è valido, il personale è premuroso e disponibile. Anche le colazioni sono discrete. La posizione non è molto vicina ai luoghi principali di El Nido, ma questo è ben compensato dalle navette gratuite. L'unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta è la musica costante in tutta la hall e a bordo piscina, dalla mattina alla sera. Diventa fastidiosa e alla lunga stancante, pur non essendo ad alto volume.

We stayed at this resort in February with our family, and we highly recommend it. The location is beautiful, with a stunning natural setting that remains quite wild, providing the perfect backdrop for a property that includes a hotel, villas, and glamping accommodations. We stayed in the hotel, but we also recommend the villas, which were occupied by our friends—they are nestled in lush greenery and are very well maintained. There is a small pool available for guests located in the glamping area. The resort also offers relaxing massages and the opportunity to book excursions. The restaurant offers a limited menu, but the dishes are well-prepared, and the pizza, in particular, meets high Italian standards. The only small suggestion we would make is to improve the breakfast selection slightly. The staff is incredibly kind, always helpful, and consistently welcoming with warm smiles. A special thanks to the General Manager, who was always present and attentive to guests’ needs.

BELLISSIMO !! Non so nemmeno da dove cominciare per parlare di questa struttura perché è così favolosa! Il personale si è preso molta cura di noi dall'inizio alla fine del nostro soggiorno. Cordialità, disponibilità e professionalità che non ho mai trovato in un altro hotel! Ho anche ricevuto una piccola fetta di torta per il compleanno del mio partner! Dal giardiniere all'addetto alla reception, tutti sono gentili, cortesi e incredibilmente gentili! La camera è spaziosa, ben pensata e la biancheria da letto è piacevole! Le aree comuni sono pulite. I gestori hanno pensato davvero a tutto: biciclette a disposizione per una passeggiata, bellissima piscina in pietra naturale, giardino in costruzione ma già ben fatto, canoa e kayak a disposizione anche... insomma tutto per stare bene! L'hotel ha tanti piccoli tocchi durante il nostro soggiorno: abbiamo ricevuto piccole cose da mangiare ogni giorno! E un piccolo extra che per me è extra perché sono un grande amante del caffè: un bar gestito da una deliziosa donnina. Ci ha fatto amare il nostro primo soggiorno a Palawan e ci ha fatto venire voglia di tornare! GRAZIE !

One night at Astoria Palawan is simply not enough! I had an amazing time during my short stay and truly believe that at least 5 days are needed to fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer—especially the Astoria Waterpark, which is fun, exciting, and well-maintained.The entire resort atmosphere is peaceful and beautifully kept, perfect for relaxing or adventure-filled days. The buffet dinner was very delicious—great variety and flavors! The fire dance performance—it was absolutely mesmerizing and added a magical touch to the evening. However, I noticed the breakfast buffet lacked halal-friendly options. I had only chicken adobo, egg, and fish only. Most of the main dishes, including the soup and hotdogs, contained pork, which may be a concern for Muslim or halal-conscious guests. I hope they consider offering more inclusive meal options in the future. Special thanks to Ms. Princess Gaflu at the front desk for her warm and professional service, and Alonso, the attendant at the waterpark, who went above and beyond to guide me, take photos and videos, and make me feel welcome. His friendly attitude made my experience even more memorable! If I didn’t have prior appointments in Manila, I would have stayed longer—and I definitely will next time! For me, Palawan means Astoria. Not El Nido. Just Astoria. It’s the best place to stay in the province—hands down! Can’t wait to come back.

L'hotel fa una buona impressione a prima vista, bella la hall, la piscina, ecc. Appena arrivi alle camere sembra terribile. Le stanze del Dekuxe erano più simili a una prigione e puzzavano estremamente di muffa. Dopo che ci siamo lamentati immediatamente di questo, ci è stata offerta la camera ”premium”, ma per una notte e poi ci siamo trasferiti in un'altra stanza il giorno successivo. Questo comporta un costo aggiuntivo di 1.000 PHP/notte. L'abbiamo fatto, le camere erano decisamente migliori. Il giorno successivo siamo stati molestati quattro volte a partire dalle 8 del mattino. Due volte alla porta e chiamato due volte perché la signora alla reception ovviamente ha commesso un errore. La chiave della camera ha un numero diverso da quella in cui siamo stati alloggiati. Non è stato quindi possibile riposare qui. Dopo aver cambiato camera, proprio accanto all'hotel c'era un grande cantiere in fase di ampliamento. A causa del caldo, gli operai lavorano la mattina presto e la sera tardi...

Questa volta è stato tutto perfetto. Vicinissimo all'aeroporto, quindi super comodo per noi e proprio accanto al centro commerciale Robinson. Ottima posizione

Casalay Resort truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing staff who made us feel like family. Everyone was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring — we especially loved catching up with them after our daily activities. It’s those small, personal touches that made our stay so special and unforgettable. The resort itself is a peaceful and beautiful escape — the villas are charming and surrounded by nature. Breakfast was always delicious and filling, the perfect way to start each day. We do have a few small suggestions that might make future stays even better: 1. Blackout curtains on the villa verandas for those who like to sleep in. 2. Clothing hooks in the shower or changing rooms would be super convenient. 3. It would be great to have an option for two queen beds in rooms, especially for friends traveling together. 4. And if all villas are fully booked, we think it would be such a lovely idea for the resort to organize a long dinner or a small evening activity for all guests to connect and enjoy the evening together under the stars. Overall, we had an amazing experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you again to the entire Casalay team for making our stay so warm, relaxing, and memorable. We’ll definitely be recommending your resort to our family and friends — 100% love and appreciation from us to all of you!

The experience over all was amazing. We truly enjoyed our time in this hotel. The staff were very accommodating (they did need to switch us rooms though cause the first one had an AC with a bad smell) but without hassle they changed us and everything was fine. I think if the ac doesn’t run for a while they can do that. The pool was absolutely great, we spent most days in the pool at least once. I did wish it had a bit of shaded area over the pool itself but the water temperature was just right and so relaxing. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious. We had some lunches and dinners there too which were all great as well. There is a very cool 360 roof bar with a happy hour, though it was disappointing that the front desk info said it included cocktails and beer for happy hour but we were told beer only for happy hour prices when we went up there.  The location and the views are just stunning from wherever you look and it’s truly peaceful. It is a bit far away so you would want a motorbike or car rental, which we did have so it wasn’t a problem for us. It was one of the most relaxing stays we had in the Philippines and we would definitely go back! :)

The hotel is new, clean. Wonderful attentive staff, comfortable rooms, beds, good breakfast, nice pool! We booked all tours directly from the hotel it was cheaper than outside. Thanks for the nice stay!
