Regno Unito: hotel con parcheggio nella provincia di Kent

L'hotel è carino ma sarebbe davvero utile essere aggiornato.Nessun aria condizionata, anche se spinge la mia fortuna, un mini frigo sarebbe un enorme vantaggio per i padroni anche ... La bella posizione, la bella zona, tornerà, ma per favore pulisci le finestre per poterle vedere!

This was genuinely a wonderful and most special place. The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet. They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it. The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard. The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need! The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality. Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible. Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite. A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!! There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise. She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!! Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too! I really had a pleasant stay. Everything about the hotel was relaxing and although I didn’t sleep well (due to being in a different bed to my own) there was nothing I could complain about. Staff were great, breakfast was ok (selection of cooked breakfast, pastries, toast,cereals & fruit) and you’re greeted with that famous cookie! :)

È stato un po' da quando sono rimasto all'Arma dei Re ... e questo viaggio mi ricorda perché! La scelta degli hotel è molto limitata e Kings Arms è situato in centro a Westerham con molti pub e ristoranti decenti nelle vicinanze. L'hotel ha subito molte recenti riparazioni esterne e sembra sorprendente dall'esterno ... forse un giorno possono avanzare verso la modernizzazione dell'interno. Le aree di bar e ristorante sono assolutamente belle, e non si può colpire l'amicizia e l'aiuto del personale. Tuttavia, il viaggio in alto con il telaio a filo consente di sapere cosa è in magazzino per voi dentro la stanza. In questo soggiorno più recente, la stanza stessa era HUGE! Ho prenotato un deluxe Double, un letto massiccio e mobili abbondanti. Il cavo in piazza e il radiatore centrale di riscaldamento non funzionavano. Nel locale era stato posto un piccolo riscaldatore elettrico, ma a causa dell'enorme dimensione, non era sufficiente produrre alcuna vera e propria temperatura nella stanza. Ma credo che questo mi abbia fatto per design! La camera da bagno era altrettanto grande, ma simile alla stanza (e altri sono rimasto in precedenza) sospetto che forse gli anni '80 fosse l'ultima volta che aveva un ascensore facciale. Ma non potevo che immaginare la reazione di mia moglie al pensiero di prendere un bagno in quella zona! È una vergogna davvero ... perfetta posizione per stare per Business mentre lavorano all'aeroporto di Biggin Hill, o per un weekend di cammino con la moglie. Tuttavia, se quest'ultimo ... io consiglierei seriamente di guardare lungo la strada. Avrete una moglie molto più felice!! Questo potrebbe essere un hotel fantastico - ma sicuramente richiede un sacco di lavoro all'interno.

Overall the hotel was pretty decent. Good location and great views fron the room. But you know the building is a but old one some dont expect 5star model. You want some thing vintage and good you are in the right place. I loved it . And the staff was so lovely and friendly. I will suggest this one.

A standard Premier Inn... room was clean and modern, the rest of the hotel a little tired but for the price and what I expected it was totally fine. An easy stroll into Canterbury, but you do need to walk through an underpass which some people may find problematic esp. late at night, but I am sure it's safe. WiFi is throttled to encourage you to upgrade... not a fan of this.

What an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks. We had booked ”Niddy” an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character. The only ****** I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room. Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening. The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had. The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away) The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return.

La stanza era pulita, comoda e ben mantenuta. Anche se era una stanza standard, aveva tutto quello che ci serviva per un soggiorno confortevole. In generale, siamo stati molto soddisfatti della nostra esperienza e saremmo felici di restare qui di nuovo. Grazie all'intera squadra per il loro eccellente servizio!

Si tratta di un hotel molto carino con ampio parcheggio disponibile (una piccola tariffa di £ 5 a notte non è irragionevole). Abbiamo prenotato una camera familiare con due letti matrimoniali per noi tre. I letti erano molto comodi e la camera aveva un'enorme TV a schermo piatto, un frigorifero e un tavolino da caffè con comode sedie accanto alla finestra. Il bagno era di buone dimensioni con vasca e doccia all'interno: il lato della vasca potrebbe essere un po' alto per qualcuno con problemi di mobilità. Ampia area reception con molti posti a sedere, un bar-caffetteria e un bar nelle vicinanze. La colazione a buffet era eccellente con un sacco di cibo appena cucinato e una buona scelta di dolci. C'è anche palestra, piscina, bagno turco e sauna gratuiti. Ma ovviamente, durante il nostro soggiorno di due notti, le ultime tre erano tutte chiuse per manutenzione! Abbiamo prenotato le nostre due notti su prenotazioni separate a causa di un cambio di programma. Ciò ha causato un po' di confusione alla reception e ci è voluto un po' di tempo per risolvere la situazione, quindi non abbiamo dovuto cambiare camera.

My wife and I stayed for three nights to celebrate our anniversary. Our stay was exceptional and especially all the staff who couldn't do enough for us and with a smile and good humour. The service was spot on as was the food in the restaurant, we ate there on all three nights and enjoyed top cuisine, wines and beers. A special touch was the 'Happy Anniversary' slate with a couple of coconut ice sweets! The breakfasts were beautifully presented and cooked to perfection, although we found the bacon just slightly tough but totally edible. Superb poached eggs! As a comment fresh fish would have been a nice addition at breakfast although smoked salmon was available. The bed was very comfortable and the room spotless and with most of the facilities one would expect. It would have been helpful to have a non-slip mat for the bath as well as a grab handle for safety. Also soap dispensers next the shower would have been helpful. As the summer is extremely hot (2026) air conditioning was very welcome! The spa facilities were lovely too!
