Panama: hotel con bar nella provincia di Provincia di Panama

Sono rimasto sorpreso dalla qualità del servizio offerto da un hotel Crowne Plaza. Non c'era nulla di totalmente inaccettabile, ma sicuramente non ci tornerei. Versione dettagliata: Navetta aeroportuale: Se un hotel vicino all'aeroporto pubblicizza un servizio navetta gratuito, è lecito supporre che una buona parte degli ospiti si aspetti di poter raggiungere facilmente l'aeroporto. Tuttavia, è quasi impossibile ottenere informazioni al riguardo prima di arrivare in hotel. Ho inviato due email nella settimana precedente all'arrivo (nessuna risposta) e ho chiamato più di dieci volte in due giorni diversi per cercare di ottenere informazioni (nessuna risposta). Finalmente, il giorno della partenza, qualcuno ha risposto e mi ha detto semplicemente di uscire dal terminal e di trovare una navetta. Non ci sono cartelli, né orari, niente di niente. Ho richiamato una volta arrivati ​​a Panama e mi è stato detto che la navetta passa al minuto 25 dall'uscita 17. Per fortuna il mio compagno l'ha vista per caso dall'altra parte della strada, all'uscita 14. In hotel c'è un orario stampato. Perché non pubblicarlo sul sito web o includerlo nel messaggio di conferma? O almeno comunicarlo ai clienti quando chiamano? Una volta arrivati, non ci sono stati problemi a tornare all'aeroporto con il bus; alla reception c'è un orario. Il bus passa circa ogni ora. Palestra: era molto buona per essere in un hotel, non eccezionale ma pulita e con una vasta scelta di macchine, tappetini, palle mediche, elastici e pesi. Sono rimasto impressionato. Colazione: niente di memorabile, ma con molta varietà: uova strapazzate, cereali, salsicce, formaggi, riso, empanadas, pane ecc. Tuttavia, molti prodotti non avevano l'etichetta. Le ”empanadas di mais” erano ripiene di carne di manzo, il che mi sembra fuorviante. Ristorante: non l'ho usato perché la scelta è molto limitata per i vegetariani (credo ci fosse un solo piatto vegetariano). Inoltre, mi è sembrato piuttosto caro, immagino sia normale per un hotel con ristorante, ma la qualità non mi è sembrata all'altezza. Camera: ampia e spaziosa con un letto comodo, macchina del caffè e TV. C'era uno strano odore, l'ambiente era umido e il condizionatore sembrava uscito dagli anni '70 (e anche il rumore lo confermava). Bagno: di nuovo, accettabile. I dispenser di shampoo, balsamo ecc. sembrano essere della misura sbagliata per i supporti a muro, il che li rende molto scomodi da usare, dato che si può premere solo di circa 0,5 cm. Non abbiamo usato la piscina, quindi non possiamo esprimere un giudizio. Come ho detto, niente di terribile, ma un'esperienza frustrante e sorprendente che questo hotel appartenga al gruppo Crowne Plaza. Personalmente, non ci tornerò.

This is a great layover hotel for Tocumen Airport. The hotel is close to the Airport, 5-15 minute drive depending on traffic. Hotel offers shuttle service to and from the airport. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. Basic TV. Swimming pool and veranda are a comfortable relaxing area. Food was top notch. I found the restaurent service to be slow as I had to wait 15 minutes for a waitor and that was only after I got up and walked toward the bar. Breakfast buffet 6:30 am - 9 am was included with room. I asked to see the ****** but after a long walk and through a locked gate, I decided I didn't want to see the ****** after all.

Great views of Panama City, very modern hotel as expected of the RiU chain with friendly bi lingual staff and many amenities. The pool area is stunning. Breakfast options spoilt for choice. Food is a 10/10 I totally loved it there

Just love this hotel! Very convenient location! Close to airport and walking distance to stores and restaurants. Love the decor! Rooms keep getting updated and are very clean, comfortable and affordable. The elevator with glass to look out is my favorite! Restaurants and bars on property are very good. Pool is beautiful! Didn't use the gym but they have one. Great place to stay for couples or large groups!!

Room was nice and comfortable though carpet had not been vacuumed in a long time. Had a massage at the spa. Extremely disorganized and inexperienced massuese. With 30 minutes notice of my arrival there were no towels or robes ready. She kept bringing things one at a time even while i waz naked getting into the shower- bath mat, then robe, then robe belt, then towel, then slippers. I told her i just want back massage and done strong but i had to keep telling her where to rub and to be stronger.   Other than that the facility was nice I used on line booking to book one day, then two more days then three more days. I always book for two but om the last three days something went wrong and somehow got booked only 1 person. Desk attendant told me $55 a day to change to two person.  I think the app which i didn’t use the first two times defaulted to kne person and i didn’t have a chance to select two person It waa extremely difficult to get a drink at the bar. I did manage to get a drink at the bar then moved to a table. When i got the bill for items at the tae, the drink i had already paid for was on the bill. The waitress corrected it, thankfui had the bar receipt in my pocket

Soggiornato 2 notti, hotel e camera nella norma. Davanti all’albergo c’è l Av. Balboa, trafficata giorno e notte, perciò si sente un po’ di rumore. Durante il ns soggiorno c’erano dei lavori edili dietro l’albergo, perciò la piscina ( che è piccola per chi vuole nuotare 7/7 m) non è simpatica da usare per via del forte rumore. La colazione non offre tanta scelta e con dei prodotti non a livello di un albergo di questa classifica. Per il prezzo che o pagato il rapporto qualità/prezzo ci stava, ma ho visto che può anche costare fino a CHF 50.00 in più a notte. Torneremo a Panama City alla fine del nostro tour del paese, ma non al Méridien. Gentile e competente lo staff, buono il WI-FI .

This is our go-to hotel in Panama City. It's not the best hotel, but it is unbeatable for its price and location. El Cangrejo has a nice local vibe, with locals walking their dogs, numerous cafes and restaurants, and convenience stores. There is a subway station within walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only thing is that the hotel needs an upgrade in terms of furniture and decoration; the rooms are a bit dark and could benefit from better lighting.

Alles in einem ein gutes Hotel, die Leute sind freundlich, die Lage ist gut, das Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Die Dusche wurde während unseres Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt, das sieht man an die Haare an der Wand. Die Temperatur im Restaurant ist zu niedrig gedreht, so wie in den USA (Gefühlt 16 Grad). Ich verstehe nicht, warum man nicht die Wohlfühltemperatur (20-23 Grad) einstellen kann. Aber das ist eher ein generelles Problem, da sie von den Amerikanern abgeguckt haben.

This is a very overvalued hotel, in reality the amenities are quite a low standard, rooms need minor renovations, and the housekeeping and maintenance services need proper improvement! Maintenance issues: the sink had overspread issue, drainage issue, toilet had overfilling issue with a noise, shower vents didn’t close fully, unless you master the “secret”; floor in the bathroom was steep towards the bedroom area, instead of being steep towards the drainage hole, the entrance door wouldn’t close without noise because of touching the floor.. Housekeeping: they attended the room only after i asked and reminded. Even then they once didn’t clean the floor, twice didn’t provide refills of the amenities (water, tissues, etc.). Only after my kind complaint to the reception, they finally fixed the issues. The reception and restaurant staff are very nice, kind, and attentive! Thanks and well done!
