Hotel con colazione a Canberra

I recently stayed at Abode Belconnen and honestly couldn’t fault a single thing – it was a perfect 10/10 experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, not just as guests but as pet parents. Finding a truly dog-friendly hotel that still feels modern, clean, and a little bit luxurious is so rare, but Abode nails it. The room was spotless and beautifully designed with a calm, contemporary vibe. It didn’t have that “pet room” feel that some places have – everything looked and smelled fresh. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the linens were crisp and felt super comfortable and high class. What really impressed me was how easy they made travelling with my dog. They provided everything we needed, and had a dog toilet area on level 5 (Sunset photo i posted). Staff were helpful and never once made me feel like traveling with a dog was a burden. The location is also super convenient with shops, restaurants, and even a Woolies just downstairs, plus secure parking. It’s one of the few hotels I’ve stayed at that manages to feel both practical and stylish. If you’re looking for a dog-friendly place in Canberra that still feels like a quality stay, Abode Belconnen is honestly unbeatable. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend

Il dolore più grande è stato l'allarme di fuoco che è scaduto in una mattina fredda di inverno alle 7:30. Questo è a tutti i conti una regolare e non corretto; apparentemente sbloccato da qualcuno fumando; 20 minuti di annunci ******** prima che scopriamo da un altro viaggiatore che era un falso allarme.  La gestione ha messo a scherzo gli ovini e ha fatto tutto il possibile. Il bagno nella nostra stanza era piccolo e dovevano essere raccolti i bagni dal desk front. 🙄 Dovevo incastrare le valigie e le scale e all'ingresso frontale. Il tipo che lavorava nella sala da pranzo, ma sul turno di colazione era un po' di diamante. Dopo un commento “strano” deve aver notato che ero impazzito dall’allarme antincendio ******** e andato fuori dalla sua strada. Un bottiglia di bubble di compleanno era un classico toccato da lui. Io sarei rimasto lì per lui.

Abbiamo soggiornato per il Festival Marathon di Canberra, la posizione era vicino alla zona principale, e vi è un caffè e un negozio di cibo vicino. L'hotel è bellissimo e le camere sono comode. La zona è tranquilla, ma ci sono alcuni ristoranti e bar lungo il lago a circa 10-minute passeggiata. Uber's erano sempre a soli minuti di distanza. Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo per vedere le visione, molte di esse sono a piedi da l'hotel.

Booked Hyatt to celebrate my birthday and got to check in early, plus the hotel surprised us with some cute chocolates!! Kush at the front desk was really friendly and helpful as well. Definitely willing to go back!

Very clean, chic hotel with a popular restaurant and bar. It is conveniently located on Northbourne Avenue , Elouera St and Mort Street which is directly the line of Canberra's night clubs if you are coming on a weekend. There's only two sets of lifts for Hotel Clients which isn't a problem for an Asian ( moi) who is used to very crowded areas. But this can be a bit inconvenient for locals who are used to express service. Pool, gym, sauna. Major plus points. And the best part of all is the free bar fridge in the room. (Not sure if it was a promotion but my friend and I could drink all of what was offered for free!) We didnt because we are massive alcohol fans. The only major downside is the 25 dollar parking fee. No, no no. You can raise the price a bit higher for the quality of rooms but it's a bit offputting to have that as an additional fee. Overall, a pretty great experience from service to aminities.

Overall, our stay at Madison Apartments was pleasant once we finally got into the room. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed — from toiletries to kitchen essentials. The A/C wasn’t working properly at the time, but it wasn’t a big issue since the weather was cool. However, the check-in process was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I had called ahead to ask if we could check in just 30 minutes early as I wasn’t feeling well and needed to rest. Upon arriving around 1:35 pm, we were told the room wasn’t ready, which I completely understood since the official check-in time was 2 pm. But when we came back at 2:40 pm, the room was ”still not ready”. The receptionist asked us to wait another 30 minutes to an hour — we ended up waiting until almost 3:30 pm, and it was still not prepared. It was honestly a terrible start to our stay — being sick, exhausted, and having nowhere to rest while continuously being told “just a little longer.” The receptionist was kind and apologetic, but it was clear she wasn’t getting any real updates from housekeeping. It felt disorganised and unprofessional for an apartment of this standard. Breakfast was another letdown for $25 per person — very basic, with no hot food. Just bread, cereal, fruit in syrup, and some bakery items. The pancakes were the only saving grace. Coffee mix wasn’t good either. Once inside, though, the apartment itself made up for it — spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need. It’s a nice place overall, but the check-in process seriously needs improvement.

My children had fun during our stays, the room is clean and smell good. And the morning breakfast is yummy. It’s just that when I tried to call for service in the telephone they didn’t answer many time. But all in all its a good place to stay especially with the kids.

Il personale è stato amichevole e utile. Camera pulita, comoda letto, wifi, aria condizionata e come bonus hanno un buffet colazione. Grande posizione con parcheggio in loco incluso e il pub tedesco vicino alla porta per cena a piedi.

Good Parking Spaces. $5/night. Good breakfast: pancakes, croissant, wholemeal bread, white bread, fruit yoghurt, fruits, Nutella, jam, vegimite. Very clean room, good housekeeping, bed and pillows are comfortable. Beddings and towels very white. Staffs are very good.
