Sud Africa: hotel con internet nella provincia di Capo Occidentale

Ho provato a contattare il The Road Lodge Cape Town Airport prima del mio arrivo e sono stato fregato dal personale. Quando ho prenotato, il personale della reception è stato accogliente, premuroso e cordiale, ma sembrava un po' sopraffatto dall'afflusso di ospiti, tutti arrivati ​​contemporaneamente. La persona che mi ha prenotato si chiamava Gdu, da quello che ricordo, ed è stato fantastico. Purtroppo, sono stato svegliato molto presto dal personale delle pulizie o dal personale di servizio, che erano molto loquaci e molto rumorosi. Alla fine, quando ho lasciato la mia camera per il check-out, ho salutato uno del personale, che non si è nemmeno degnato di ricambiare il saluto e mi ha semplicemente ignorato, dimostrandosi molto scortese. Alla cassa, ancora una volta, mi sono sentito molto indesiderato e d'intralcio. Non ci tornerò sicuramente.

My wife and I recently escaped to Arendsrus for a quick breakaway, and it was absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a place that feels ”off-the-grid” and immersed in nature without sacrificing luxury, this is it. The setting at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains is spectacular. The wooden chalets offer a sense of total privacy and a ”wilderness” vibe that immediately makes you forget the hustle of daily life. The attention to detail is top-notch, especially the 800-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets—it’s clear the hosts care deeply about guest comfort. The absolute highlight of our stay was the a la carte breakfast served directly to our room. It was delicious, beautifully presented, and allowed us to enjoy a slow morning soaking in the views from our balcony in total peace. The hospitality was warm and genuine, and the entire atmosphere is one of tranquility and refined rustic charm. It truly is a hidden gem on the Garden Route. We left feeling completely refreshed and can’t wait to go back!

The room looked a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. However, in the last 2 nights of my stay, the key card somehow did not register me as a guest which resulted in me having to go down to the reception to reactivate the card which was inconvenient, especially since I had already booked these 2 nights. Please also note that the hotel takes a deposit of 200 rands per night and it should be paid in cash which was a bummer since Cape Town was the last stop in my trip and I didn't have that much cash anymore and I won't want to withdraw just for this. Unfortunately, it seems that cash is the only way to go since other payment methods will result in losses. I ended up using my credit card to pay this deposit where they charged my card instead of placing a hold. When I checked out, they asked for all my card details including CVV to process the refund. Unfortunately, a month later, I still did not receive a refund on my card. It took another month before I got the refund via bank transfer. To my horror, I received 32% less because this was charged by the hotel's bank. The hotel stated that the hotel does not bear the transfer cost and claimed that my card did not work when they attempted to refund. However, the attempt to refund to my card was never mentioned in my e-mail correspondences. In conclusion, the hotel room is generally pleasant to stay in but avoid using your card to pay the deposit to avoid the above problems.

Upgrade is worth, then u have a nice view… super friendly staff. Roof top with coffee, GREAT!

這個家酒店位置可以，也安全，就是停車每天收50蘭特不是很喜歡，後面有個商場直接走過去很方便，房間夠兩人住，窗外可以看到桌山和大海，第一天入住酒店直接看到夕陽很美，就是入住時間3點有點晚，我們1點到衹能先放下行李然後出去走走

Questo posto è assolutamente fantastico! Se stai progettando di prendere il bus di Visita della Città a Capo Town, devi rimanere qui ci è un fermo proprio davanti! La posizione è senza spot, con una vista stupefacente dell'oceano davanti e la testa del leone dietro di te. Personalmente, il colazione qui era eccellente. Mi ha dato un senso di pace e conforto che anche gli hotel di lusso raramente forniscono. Se avessi la possibilità di tornare, mi piacerebbe rimanere per più di un mese!

La colazione è buona accanto al centro commerciale e al centro di riunione. È molto conveniente e l'ambiente circostante è buono

Alloggi perfetti! Dalla nostra arrivo siamo stati salutati con un'atmosfera positiva e meravigliosa! L'ubicazione è ideale per chi vuole visitare la città del Capo. Pochi minuti a piedi a Long Street e Bo-Kap (case colorate). Il personale è stato molto utile nel fornire raccomandazioni e mezzi di viaggio. L'area è sicura, pulita e una grande combinazione di ciò che l'Africa del Sud deve offrire 😁 Le nostre camere hanno fornito la migliore vista sulla montagna da tavola ❤️ Si consiglia di rimanere qui!
