The hotel room is very clean and spacious, located few minutes away from the gaotei station. Staff are attentive and friendly. They prepared lots of snacks in the room for us to enjoy. The stay was undoubtedly pleasant, highly recommended.

Un grande cortile con un respiro locale, molto caldo, con un bel gatto e un cane da cucina.E'solo il momento della notte, il capo duro aspetta che ci aiuti a stare qui per cosi' tanto tempo. Il giorno dopo ci siamo mangiati qui, quattro persone hanno mangiato la salsa, molto soddisfatto, il cibo è molto profumo, mentre mangiano il tutu, e papà ci guarda sotto il tavolo, è così carino!

Questo hotel è molto bello sulla strada pedonale, con le stalle e i ristoranti. Oltre a questo, a pochi passi da qui è una grande strada di shopping pedonale, insieme ad un complesso di shopping sotterraneo accessibile attraverso gli scalatori stradali. Anche se l'hotel è su una strada pedonale, è davvero solo circa 3/4 blocco da una strada con accesso ai veicoli. Questo hotel è un po' difficile da trovare, perché i numeri di indirizzi stradali individuali sono difficili da trovare. La cosa migliore è cercare un enorme logo dell'Hotel Hanting sul lato destro della strada pedonale, mentre si salisce dalla strada del traffico lungo il fiume. Il segno è blu con un cavallo bianco! L'ingresso all'hotel sembra più che entrare in un negozio di caffè a causa del sigillo di entrata della strada, ma il potere passa attraverso tutte le tavole per le persone che hanno il caffè, e si può trovare il desk front all'indietro. Come già detto, l'hotel è molto vicino al fiume Giallo e solo a pochi passi dal ponte ferroviario (AKA Zhongshan Bridge) e tutto ciò che il quartiere offre! Uno dei problemi dell'hotel è che per entrare nell'ingresso ci sono alcuni passi stretti. Le entrate di livello sono sempre meglio! Ma, certamente rimarrei in questo hotel! (E quando sei a Lanzhou, sii sicuro di provare Lanzhou Beef Noodles!)

Visited Dunhuang on several occasions before but Bowen Hotel is the best considering its rating and price. It's a 4 star and only 150 CNY per night. For this you get a well appointed comfortable room with a view of the river. The rooms are well set out with plenty of space, power points and light switches where they are needed, and a stable reliable and secure wifi signal. The Hotel is situated about 300m east of Dunhuang museum. So, still within walking distance of night market main street, bars, memory box cafe, bus no.3 to Mingsha etc The bathroom is good quality with a glass enclosure for the shower unit, which has lots of space. The hot water system is responsive and strong, over 24 hours (-10°C outside). Good quality towels and a floor mat are provided and replaced each day by the effecient room service staff.who keep rooms spotlessly clean. The queen sized bed is super comfortable- not too soft or too hard. The double boutique room also has a coffee table, sofa and matching foot rest. I especially appreciated the gym on floor 7. Limited but useful equipment (treadmill, weights). Another useful feature is a laundry service - also on floor 7. I was fortunate enough to interact with the hotel manager, (who communicates in English very well) and she arranged a taxi late at night to Liuyuan. Overall a pleasant hotel experience in a great oasis town. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti al Runhu Hotel mentre visitavamo tutte le attrazioni turistiche nei dintorni di Zhangye, tra cui gite al deserto del Gobi, Ping Shan Hu (Grand Canyon), la valle di Alien e altri siti. L'hotel, pulito, spazioso e tranquillo, ha dipendenti motivati ​​che sono felici di soddisfare qualsiasi richiesta. Il ristorante è davvero molto buono con prezzi ragionevoli, anche la colazione a buffet era varia e di ottima qualità. L'hotel offre anche servizi come la consegna serale di latte caldo e una vasca per pediluvio con sali di Epsom senza costi aggiuntivi. L'hotel ci ha anche consigliato un autista con la sua auto molto bella e ben tenuta. Lui, il signor Li, è andato ben oltre le aspettative. The hostel is just down the canal a little from the centre of the city, an easy walk. The bus to and from the railway station is less than 500 metres away (ignore what Google maps tells you, they'll take you to a toilet in the wrong direction, use the Trip.com map, and click through to Google maps to get it right). Go a couple of km the other way and you're at the Dunhuang Museum. There is plenty of space downstairs to hang out, they sell a few cold drinks, and might even make coffee - they have the equipment). The rooms are on the second and third floor, no elevator. My room, #304, was quite rustic and not very big, but had a small table and adequate bed. The shower was just far enough away from the toilet that the floor there stayed sort of dry. Air con did struggle a bit with the 40 degree heat.

We got free upgrade to the suite so that was nice. Very pretty river view and not as noisy as some of the reviews I've read. Probably because the weather was getting chilly. Room was very spacious, even for just the size of the bedroom alone. Bed was comfortable and not too soft. But I will say that the light switches in the rooms and also the smart toilet seat were very confusing. Strangely, it had a large bathtub area, but a separate and very squished shower closet. The water didn't quite drain properly also. Breakfast was okay. But considering how the city really is just a town in the desert, I'd say it's actually pretty good. The local restaurants are also options, but we had to get up super early for day trips, and didn't feel like freezing outside to look for food when it's still dark. Side note, the night market in town is nice but not much going on outside of that area. The hotel is not in the city centre, but since the city is small, taxi is the way to go. We actually end up just getting the phone number of one of the taxi driver, and called her whenever we planned to head out. I chose the hotel based on aesthetics and was not disappointed. But our suite was in the end of a very long hallway, so get ready to walk if you are not near the elevator.

Great hotel! Clean and spacious rooms. The staff are really accommodating and helpful, and had no trouble using translators to communicate. Plenty of water was provided and the room was cleaned daily. Breakfast has lots of options. The location was perfect, maybe 25min to the train, 20min to the Fort, 30min to the Great Wall. There was really delicious and cheap food at several restaurants right around the corner from the hotel. The people in Jiayuguan were super kind and helpful too, so we had no trouble ordering at the restaurants despite our lack of Chinese language skills.

This is a REALLY nice hotel. Unfortunately, although it is practically right next to one of the city's two train stations, the location is far from ideal. Yes, there are many restaurants close by. But Tianshui is an oddly laid out city. Look on a map and you will see two distinct parts to the city. This hotel, along with the two train stations and the airport are in the eastern city. But all the most interesting city attractions are within the west part. And the two parts are very far from each other. Again, this is a nice, quiet, comfortable hotel. And I often try to stay at hotels near transportation centers such as train stations. The view from my room was fabulous- mountains and a train station. But for anyone visiting Tianshui, I'd suggest you look closely at a map and take a close look at the sites within the city you are likely to visit! (To add to within-town transportation challenges, not even a single time was I able to get a ride using the normally useful ”Didi” application. This meant that it was a constant ”old school” process of trying to flag down available taxis. Anyway, again I will emphasize, the hotel is great. It is the layout of the city itself that presents challenges that make this location difficult.
