Svizzera: hotel con internet nella provincia di Canton Obvaldo

Great location as it's just beside the cable car station to Titlis. The sauna and the pool were both well maintained. Overall, the stay was good. The service could have been better though.

Cercando una pausa rilassante nel Alos svizzero, vicino alle corse, ho trovato questo piccolo gemma: un hotel, piuttosto rustico nel modo tradizionale svizzero! Non lontano dal cuore di Engelberg, ma abbastanza lontano da contemplare il cielo, vedere le stelle e sentire solo il battito del cuore della natura. Puli, molto puliti, con camere confortevoli, non grandi, semplicemente confortevoli, la maggior parte con un balcone che guarda il villaggio. Il ristorante era anche bello, con piatti deliziosi e una lista di vino di buon gusto. Non perdere! Solo per sottolineare, il buffet di colazione: ogni giorno lo stesso, non sempre frutta fresca disponibile. Vorrei qualche varietà e qualche croissant di cioccolato, per favore! In generale, una deve andare!

La coppia che sembra possedere l'hotel è molto attenta e farà qualsiasi cosa per assicurarsi di avere un soggiorno meraviglioso. Parlano 5+ lingue tra loro, abbiamo avuto una bella conversazione sulle lingue della Svizzera e tutti i dialecti. Non sono sicuro che questo si applichi a tutte le prenotazioni, come abbiamo fatto in un grande gruppo, ma il 3 corso di pasto che è stato servito è stato meraviglioso, con il servizio completo e bevande meravigliose opzioni, tra cui la loro vigna, la cidera di mela e la birra. A mio parere, l'esperienza è stata quella di un hotel a 5 stelle che sicuramente rimarrà

It started at check-in: we arrived very early on Friday to beat the traffic and asked if we could find a place to work. The front office staff offered us something better: an upgrade to a better room for a very small sum and the room is already available. We took it, of course! That set the tone for services on the rest of our stay: it was friendly, efficient and full of solutions to ensure that our stay is pleasant. We tried the Fondue restaurant and the bar. The bar actually provided really good nibbles (delicious pork belly in bun!). We wanted to try the afternoon tea but we were turned away as we didn't reserve in advance. That's actually not true (no reservation required as confirmed by the manager in an Email after). It was a pity to have such miscommunication among the staffs but that was one bad apple. Breakfast was outstanding! The breadth of choices of cold and warm dishes is unusual for Switzerland (yes.. compared to other similar hotels). The warm dishes were especially delicious: cooked upon order, arrived warm and best of all, no food waste. The hotel is conveniently located, near to the village centre, the Monastery and the ski lifts. There's even a shuttle that would bring guests to the ski station that go up to Trübsee and then further to Titlis. To me, what matter is truly the service. Of course we know hotels are there to make profit and they operate through certain constrains but the flexibility, initiatives and solutions provided to ensure that guests get the most pleasant experience count the most. We truly dislike hotels that call themselves 5 star but so rigidly going by the book with no exceptions. Most guests are reasonable people and when treated reasonably, we gladly return the favour. This was the feeling I got from Kempinski Engelberg and we cannot wait to go back.

Mi pregio di recensire il Youth hostel di Engelberg, che ho avuto l'occasione di visitare durante una gita scolastica. Purtroppo, devo constatare che le camere erano intrise di una sgradevole fragranza, il wifi risultava fuori servizio e ho trovato profondamente disgustoso il fatto che i piumini e i cuscini non venissero lavati ma fossero coperti unicamente da federe di dubbia igiene. Nello scostare la federa del piumino, ho avvistato una macchia dalla strana colorazione che pareva essere un'affermazione di poca attenzione alle pulizie, per cui ho deciso di dormire senza. La puzza, purtroppo, ci ha costretti a tenere le finestre aperte durante la notte, rendendo l'esperienza ancora meno confortevole. La qualità del cibo non ha soddisfatto le aspettative, in particolare la carne consumata da me e dai miei compagni di stanza ci ha causato fastidi intestinali. L'unico aspetto positivo del Youth hostel di Engelberg è rappresentato dalla vista del paesaggio che si può ammirare dalle finestre. In conclusione, non consiglio questo alloggio a nessuno, poiché esistono certamente alternative di gran lunga migliori.

L'hotel è situato proprio al di là della stazione ferroviaria con fermata di autobus (schi) e fortunatamente ha finestre di prova sonora. Il hotel è stato ristrutturato ed è stato molto elegante, conservando il vecchio patrimonio. Il parcheggio dell'hotel è 15 - per notte, tutto bene. The management has chosen to implement 2G rule (German shortening for vaccinated/recovered), although according Federal Covid-19 order, this only applies for hotel’s restaurant/bar. This should be more clearly stated on the booking site.

There are probably not so many hotels, where you cannot actually go by car in the winter and you need to use cable car to reach the resort, your bags included. But, worth mentioning, that everything was super-smooth. All the logistics, no queues, the whole process was very vast and interesting. The place where hotel is, simply beautiful. Great for hiking, skiing, walking, whatever you want. Hotel is very good, even connected with the underground tunnel, with the lodge, where is kids club, another wellness center, more restaurants etc. I liked it even despite the fact, that when full occupancy, the wellness area is pretty small and feels crowded. Also would be good if there is an outdoor pool. Looking at the mountain being outside would be much better, then be behind the glass. Rooms very nice, spacious. I enjoyed the stay. Price tag is quite high, but you get good experience for that.

Verena was wonderful to work with and the house was beautiful and immaculate! We were traveling with family and had 5 children ages 6 months thru 13 years. There was plenty of room for everyone and so much to do in the area. I would recommend this house to anyone and if I am fortunate enough to return to Switzerland, I will definitely be staying again! I would also like to mention the breakfast that Verena prepared for us each morning. It was fabulous and delicious. I would suggest adding it to your stay and if I were to return I would add the dinner as well! Cannot say enough good things about the house, host, and the entire experience!
