Small but very clean room, very easy access to public parking. Onsen bath is good considered the small size of hotel. Free noodle and ice popsicles are a plus - especially when you struggle to find a restaurant coming back late from Tateyama. Charge money for disposing excessive trash and room markup

Ci siamo trasferiti due notti e ci siamo divertiti. Il buffet e la cena erano buoni. Ci sono stati una vasta varietà di piatti, e sono stati ripieni rapidamente. Il personale era educato e professionale nel trattare con gli ospiti. Pros: 1. Room and toilet is clean. Bed and pillows are so comfortable. Room is quite big and can fully open 2 medium luggages. Amenities is also provided but require to take from the lobby which I feel is good. There are also Nespresso machine with capsule provided in the room. 2. Located 5 mins walk from Toyama Station. If require to rent car, Toyota Car Renting is located directly opposite of the hotel. Tram, shinkansen, JR train and Dentetsu train are convenient to take. 3. As is nearby the main station, has lots of restaurants/eateries, convenience mart and mall surrounding. However, do note that most of the shops close as early as 8pm nearby. 4. Soundproof was actually good to my surprise despite located along the road. 5. I had opted to walked to Kansui Park which is actually approx. 10 mins depending on your walking speed. The view and scenery overseeing the alps was so good. 6. It was raining during our stay, we were able to borrow umbrella and shoes dryer. Cons: 1. Nearby shop closes too early. Not sure if is because of off peak season. 2. Hardly any cons I could think of. Overall, I recommend this hotel. Great location, service, easily to get food and accessible to transport. Not sure if is off peak season but it was definitely lesser crowd and traffic during my stay at the end of November. It is definitely great time to visit this time if wanted a relaxing trip.

Stayed here a night in Toyama before embarking on the Alpine route. Familiar, comfortable room amenities as expected from the Comfort Hotel chain, with a good breakfast spread inclusive. 5 minutes walk from Toyama JR Station and 7 minutes walk with luggage from Toyama Dentetsu line to Kurobe Gorge and Tateyama. Note that you still need to bring your luggage to Dentetsu Station for luggage forwarding service, you cannot do it from the hotel. I asked for a high floor room that overlooked the station/mountains - I did get a high floor room but a side view of the building beside the hotel. Tip: buy supplies from the supermarket in the mall opposite before going up the mountains. There are also Toyama souvenirs, great eki bentos, firefly squid and white shrimp tempura tendon and black ramen in Toyama JR Station nearby.

The hotel is relatively new, with on site parking. It is located at the top few floors of a business building. There no hotel reception on the ground floor only a phone and the entrance is hard to find if you are driving and it’s at the back of the building. The window shows you the major railway system of Nagoya as JR Nagoya station is just next stop and visible from the window. So a must for train lovers. The staff at the hotel is helpful but their English is minimal but for sure they are polite and cordial. There’s always staff cleaning in the other room when I go in and out of the hotel, but they somehow managed to not bother me and find the right time to clean my room. There is no other facility such as swimming pool, onsen or washing machines in the hotel. There’s a large family mart on ground floor and a few restaurants in the complex but we are always out during the day and didn’t have a choice to enjoy them. The hotel breakfast is delicious and the choices are ample. It also has the skyline view of Nagoya. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you want a little piece and quiet when you travel. And you might need to walk extra or take 1 more stop in the Metro to go back to hotel. It’s an excellent hotel but I think more suitable for adults.

What a gem of a hotel in a superb location. short walk from Toyama station. Great amenities, welcome cookie included. Great service and attentive staff, a great hotel all in all! Only problem is a Hilton wide thing- the two tier Internet must go in this say and age. Fast free WiFi should be a basic given at a 4 star as it is on most lower classed hotels.

Really enjoyed that onsen! This is a fantastic place to stay with an amazing breakfast buffet, a lounge where you can make creative tradition Japanese arts, big rooms, friendly staff and most of all an amazing onsen. The onsen here is maybe one of the best we’ve been to and we’ve been to a lot, it even offers a cold bath if that’s your kind of thing. The down sides (which very minor) are the WiFi which was pretty weak and the fact you’d need to have a car to get out there (which we did, but for some this may be a problem). Nevertheless, this place is a 10/10 would highly recommend.

Everything is good. I love the Dormy Inn Hotel. Just a staff of the Dormy Inn Kanazawa branch seems a bit more professional and the location for this branch is more far. But all standards is good quality. Free hot springs, hot soba, soft drinks, ice-cream and manga books service. Really recommend!

The hotel is situated at the very convenient location just next to the Toyama JR Station and there’re a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed very much of our stay in this hotel with the professional services and hospitality from the very friendly and helpful staff.
