The hotel itself perfectly blends heritage charm with modern practicality. While the building is historic, the interior is well-maintained, cozy, and comfortable. My room was compact but spotlessly clean, featuring all the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay. It included a very comfortable bed, a tidy en-suite bathroom, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi that worked flawlessly throughout my visit. Though some of the hallway decor feels slightly dated, it genuinely adds to the classic, old-world character of the property rather than detracting from the overall guest experience. One of the standout features of The Victoria Hotel is its excellent guest facilities. After a long day of exploring the city's sights, having access to an indoor heated rooftop pool, a spa, and a fitness center was an unexpected and delightful bonus for a budget-friendly hotel. Furthermore, the on-site restaurant and bar, Mister Munro, provides a lovely, relaxed atmosphere with a great selection of delicious food and beverages. The hotel staff also deserve a very special mention. From a smooth, welcoming check-in process to providing helpful local sightseeing tips, the customer service was consistently polite, efficient, and highly professional. Overall, The Victoria Hotel offers outstanding value for money. It provides a comfortable, safe, and incredibly convenient base for anyone wanting to experience the best of Melbourne without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this wonderful accommodation and would gladly stay here again

Abbiamo avuto una piacevole soggiorno all'aeroporto di Quality Hotel Melbourne. La stanza era spaziosa, pulita e tranquilla, rendendola comoda per un buon riposo notturno. Il riscaldamento è fornito attraverso il sistema di aria condizionata in camera, anche se la stessa bagno non è riscaldata. L'hotel è un'area conveniente e facile da trovare, con parcheggio disponibile sul posto. Un'unica caratteristica è l'affascinante ascensore di stile merci-vecchio, che rende facile trasportare bagagli e viaggiare compagni al secondo livello. Il personale dell'ufficio principale è stato molto amichevole e accogliente per tutta la nostra permanenza.L'hotel offre anche un servizio di navetta a richiesta 24/7, che è stato estremamente conveniente. A poco a poco dall'aeroporto, è una scelta eccellente per i viaggiatori di transito o per quelli con voli precoci. Ci sono anche diverse opzioni di cena vicino, così come i supermercati Aldi e Woolworths in circa un passo 10-minute. In generale, un soggiorno confortevole e conveniente che consigliamo.

La posizione dell'hotel è davvero buona. E' super conveniente arrivare all'hotel dal terminale. La dimensione della camera è buona per sballare e ribaltare le vostre cose per il viaggio. Poiché non abbiamo incluso la colazione nella prenotazione. Ci sono 2 opzioni per la colazione: 1. colazione dell'hotel per 35AUD/person 2. Caffè Deli. Ci avevamo un sandwich e un muffin. E' veloce e facile essere pronti alla mattina.

T'was my third time here and they don't disappoint. Room is clean and sleek. Breakfast is good quality. Toiletries needs to be requested all the time- it's not always convenient especially that you need it daily and you stay for 2 weeks.

Overall, not a bad stay despite the various pain points. Expected more from a hotel tied to Ascott though. Pros: Located right infront of a free tram zone in the heart of CBD. Easily accessible to variety of places - mostly walkable. Pretty big room - has a separate living room Has a kitchenette as well as cabinet filled with cutleries, cooking pots & pans. Service was rather nice very helpful in various issues and also can receive packages. (However, one staff wasn’t very nice to us but very nice to the Caucasian couples who cut in front of us. Our keycard were locked for some reason and went to her for help - verification wasn’t very thorough like the other staff & when we feedback that our keycard that was left in the room was taken away after housekeeping she was unbothered - could seriously be a safety issue esp for ladies if the housekeeper was shady. Thankfully our check-in staff had deactivated it for room access and made it only usable for electricity) Laundromat was rather cheap - AUD6 Cons: Place is a little hard to spot - doesn’t have a big entrance door that is spottable. Hallways of the rooms looks kind of old - felt shady (but that’s just exterior, inside itself is fine) Housekeeping is only done every 3 days - left our takeaway bags & trash for 3 days and there was cockroach nymph. Not super thorough in cleaning too (we left an iron board infront of the desk that covered the dustbin and it wasn’t emptied, had to use a paper bag to hold our thrash - but again also seem like a pro cause they don’t touch your things?) Although filled with amenities but also doesn’t seem to be filled? - no bowls, no dishwasher & soap (please bring/buy your own to wash) Only rain shower head available, no second detachable shower head. No bidet. Room walls are quite thin - can hear the outside easily but am not easily bothered. (Good for those who cares to take note) On the last day, aircon had issue - kept turning on & off on its own (quite loud that I heard it during my sleep (I’m a light sleeper)) Also, they got no memory foam pillows & beds were rollable. No locks so our beds were constantly moving around. Bring adapters!! - not a big con & should be well prepared but they only have wall outlets

The Highlights 1. The location of this hotel is second to none. Right outside the door, you’ll find endless food options from quick bites to diverse international cuisines, plus plenty of cafés, bars, and public transport. Having the SkyBus stop to the airport just around the corner was convenient. 2. Every team member I met was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. They are well-trained and motivated to provide excellent service. 3. The room itself was spacious and modern. Both the daytime city views and night lights from the window were wonderful, and the furnishings felt new and well-maintained. 4. Guests have access to some excellent facilities, including a gym, a library, and a full wellness area. The indoor pool is comfortably heated even on a chilly Melbourne evening, and it comes with a sauna and bubble spa, which makes the stay feel more like a resort. What Could Be Improved 1. The room setup felt unusual. I booked a one-bedroom suite, but was placed in a two-bedroom apartment with the master bedroom locked off. I completely understand that I only paid for one room, but it felt a little strange knowing there was a part of “my” room I couldn’t access. Personally, I would have preferred a proper one-bedroom layout with full access. 2. The bedroom I was 'allowed' to stay in also didn’t have its own air conditioning. It relied on the living room’s unit to keep cool, while the locked-off master had its system. This design made things a bit uncomfortable at times, especially overnight. 3. The sofa had an unpleasant, urine-like odour, which made us reluctant to rest in the lounge. 4. The main door lock was rusty and stiff, making it frustrating to open and close. 5. There was no landline phone in the room to contact reception, so the only option was to head downstairs. A couple of times, even during office hours, the reception was unattended (likely because one staff member was juggling multiple tasks). It could be so inconvenient to have a more extended stay. 6. While the pool facilities were lovely, they were often crowded. The common facilities are shared with residents of the building as well as hotel guests, but this detracted from the relaxing vibe. Would I stay here again? Yes, probably. Mainly because of the unbeatable location, the great facilities, and the friendly staff. But I do think the hotel needs to address the details so that it can align with what they claimed as 'luxury'.

Sarebbe stato buono, tranne per le grandi finestre occidentali che si trovano a sinistra senza ciechi e per un sistema elettrico che spenga il condizionamento dell'aria quando nessuno è nella stanza. Così siamo arrivati a scaldare il calore, e un condizionatore d'aria che non raffredda davvero le camere da letto, e nessuna finestra o fan nella camera principale. La maggior parte delle altre cose erano buone, ma avere una camera confortevole è fondamentale e l'appartamento non è semplicemente creato per questo. Ci è piaciuto la posizione e la piscina. Non possiamo davvero parlare ai livelli di servizio perché non abbiamo chiesto, aspettato o ottenere nessuno. E' stato un po' frustrante che l'hotel abbia una prenotazione solo per 4 adulti quando abbiamo fatto una prenotazione per 2A+ 3C su trip.com ma chi sa chi è stato responsabile di questo.

Great location for orthodox jews. Frendly staff. Nice inside pool and spa. A very goog (and expensive) restaurant inside the hoyel. One minus: they dont change the sheets for a week.

We booked a King Standard hotel for this trip as we have the special rate from Trip.com. Before we arrived we received an email from Trip urging us to write an email to ask for early check in as we also booked an airline ticket thru Trip. When arrived in hotel ard 9.45 am we were offered a room ( with immediate availability ) but with a payment of AUD 50. When I asked for a twin bed room as usually King and Twin Bed will have same rate, but not this hotel. If we were to change the bed style we have to pay AUD 30/night for 5 nights 😅😅another AUD 150. Enough for all the morning communications so we just ignore the bed details and went straight to our room after the payment. On the day we checked out we came to know that the front officer recharged our hotel fee even when Trip.com confirmed that everything was fully paid. What a money maker hotel!! Front officer told us they will refund us the amount though. However the room is small and nice and everything was up to international 4 standard but Crown ****** Tower has a much more beautiful and bigger room. Though both have stunning nice view of the Yarra River as in attached.
