La posizione è cattiva, tutte le camere profumano orribile, come tutte, sono entrato nel mio appartamento non fumatore, profumato disgustoso, le ho chiesto di cambiare le camere, mi hanno mostrato un'altra stanza, profumato lo stesso, brutto, le stentoglie per i vestiti, Le lavanderie sono inutili e sporche. Il personale è bello. Mi hanno chiesto di scrivere un commento mentre stavo controllando, il tizio mi ha chiesto di scriverlo lì in loco con lui. Io gli ho detto no. Questo mi fa credere che ci siano diverse recensioni false su Google. La palestra è buona, la piscina è buona.

SShuijingmeiziÈ abbastanza buono. Ho prenotato una stanza singola per me. È molto comodo. Anche la colazione è ricca. È una bella esperienza. È molto vicino al Museo Nazionale, basta attraversare la strada. La sceglierò di nuovo la prossima volta che verrò a giocare.

SSlawomir SokolowskiHotel non nuovo ma dignitoso situato vicino alla Città Vecchia di Doha. Personale cordiale e cortese. Una camera con letto king size, materasso molto comodo, molte luci, tre sedie, tavolo, grande specchio a parete, bollitore e caffè istantaneo. In corridoio un grande armadio. Bagno con una grande doccia. Per questo prezzo l'hotel è eccellente.

Abbiamo prenotato una camera con finestre panoramiche e il letto e i cuscini erano molto comodi. La camera era dotata di frigorifero, bollitore, microonde e altri comfort necessari.
Durante una lunga sosta a Kater, cercavo un hotel comodo vicino al mercato e a pochi passi dall'argine.
Per i voli del mattino è disponibile la colazione anticipata.
L'hotel offre anche l'accesso alla West Way, ma tenete presente che il nuoto è consentito solo fino alle 17:00, anche se la spiaggia è aperta fino alle 23:00. Non lo sapevamo.
L'hotel dispone di una piccola piscina coperta al 14° piano, aperta fino alle 21:00.

SSofia TrufanovaI stayed at Sapphire Plaza Hotel for two nights and overall it was a pleasant experience. The location is quite convenient — there are cafés, small shops, and a few restaurants within walking distance, which made it easy to grab food without taking a taxi every time.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was surprisingly good. Air conditioning worked perfectly, which is essential. The bathroom was a bit dated, but everything functioned well and hot water was consistent. Housekeeping did a decent job, although I would have appreciated slightly more attention to detail.
Breakfast had enough variety — not a huge selection, but the basics were fresh and tasty. The staff were polite and responsive, especially at the reception. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth.
There’s no luxury feel here, but for the price and location, Sapphire Plaza Hotel is a solid and reliable option. I’d stay again if I needed something affordable and central.

UUtente ospiteBad points were that there was a nasty drain smell in the bathroom, also coffee/tea not refreshed. In fact, housekeeping took some coffee sachets away! Toiletries not refreshed either after initial allocation. It was handy that you could get a beer in the bar, but that's if you could tolerate the drunk locals. I popped in to get a beer for 3 nights and it was the same every night. The bar staff were lovely but getting abused by the drunks. On my last time in the bar, a Sudenese man made me very uncomfortable (I'm not a shrinking violet). The reception staff varied, one of them downright lied to me saying the Metro would not be running till 6am (it opens at 5 am). He said I would have to get a taxi for early flight for 50 riyal. Con artist. I also asked him for an alarm call which never happened. I got the Metro to airport just fine. The location isn't bad as you're next to a main Metro station, but I would recommend staying in the Souk Waqif and getting a hotel near the Metro stations there. I say stations because they have different access points which come out at different spots so use Google Street view to check. Didn't use pool or have breakfast so can't comment. Overall, I would stay somewhere else!

AAli Ihsan DXBThis hotel is mediocre at best. Good things are that the rooms are large, breakfast is OK, location is very good. Bad things are that the hotel is old and not maintained in best condition. The shower pressure is fluctuating. It is not top clean, merely acceptable level. The furniture are old, you can see finger marks or scratches on them. Toilet seat has yellowed out with stains of old. You can notice the splotches of silicone in bathroom tiles, clear markers of cheap labor. Towels are coarse. Can say more but you get the picture. If you are a discerning traveler, you might be bothered with such details, though this feeling may be offset with the relatively low price of the hotel. Lastly, the hotel actually warns you about this and it bears notice that there are bars in the hotel and weekends being a lot of bachelor party-goers to the hotel at night.

...reception staff did not give guests 2riyal for uber change. I have told them this would have been a nice gesture for their guests. Carpets in rooms were discoloured. Shower door floods bathroom as soon as you open it after use. 🙃
