Hotel 4 stelle a Cairns

Grande posizione in CBD, a pochi passi da Wharf per la maggior parte delle attività, ristoranti e centri alimentari. L'appartamento è abbastanza spazioso, 1 camera con bagno insuite e extra e dotato di tutti gli attrezzi da cucina, lavastoviglie, lavastoviglie, asciugacapelli, ferro ecc. Il servizio era ok, poiché la ricezione/servizio non era disponibile per la maggior parte a causa delle vacanze pubbliche, non aveva bisogno di molto servizio in quanto tale. Una sgradevole esperienza quando un cane morto è stato trovato all'arrivo e un cane vivo poche volte durante il soggiorno, altrimenti l'appartamento era abbastanza pulito.

The hotel is in a very good location for exploring Cairns, a short walk to the harbour and even shorter walk for all kinds of restaurants, the hotel has its own restaurant where they serve a BBQ type meal with the meats being carved at your table. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful, Francesca was really lovely, there’s three lifts to all floors, our room 718, was very clean and tidy, lovely cool cotton sheets on a massive bed, a large TV and coffee and tea making facilities, the shower and toilet was ok maybe a bit dated but it served a purpose, the room was cleaned with fresh towels every day, we had breakfast in the hotel which was $25 each, its buffet style so have as much as you need, the restaurants around the hotel are very eclectic, but YaYas’ Greek restaurant is fantastic, the food the staff the atmosphere are all great, highly recommend you try it. All in all the hotel is at the heart of Cairns and all it has to offer.

Anche le due colazioni erano soddisfacenti. La piscina è piccola, ma è un buon posto per rilassarsi.

Gli appartamenti con angolo cottura offrono una fornitura monouso di shampoo, ma un utilizzo aggiuntivo è disponibile a pagamento. Gli appartamenti con una camera da letto dispongono di lavanderia e lavaggio a secco, ma è necessario acquistare il detersivo per il bucato, che l'hotel fornisce a pagamento. Il piano cottura a induzione e il microonde rendono la cucina molto comoda. L'hotel dispone anche di una piscina e di una vasca idromassaggio, perfette per godersi la stagione. Il parcheggio è comodo e la vicinanza a un grande supermercato rende la spesa un gioco da ragazzi. Consigliato per chi viaggia in auto o per chi soggiorna più a lungo e ha bisogno di cucinare i propri pasti.

This is the best value accomodation in Cairns in my experience, Ingrid the receptionist was very friendly and helpful I arrived early and they still checked me in and gave me a free upgrade from a standard room to an apartment, the location is excellent only a very short walk to the esplanade and amazing restaurants, free private parking available (although it is limited to availability) I think this will be my preference for staying in Cairns city from now on.

Purtroppo la piscina era in manutenzione e non abbiamo potuto usarla, ma la posizione era da 10/10. Così vicino alla passeggiata e a tutti i servizi che Cairns ha da offrire. La camera era ok, essenziale ma pulita e piacevole da tornare dopo un'intera giornata di esplorazione. Avevamo una camera familiare con accesso alla terrazza, molto bella e perfetta per far giocare i bambini.

The unit is adequate for my family of six for a 3-night stay. Basic necessities are generally met, and the overall stay was acceptable. However, there were several maintenance and usability issues that affected comfort. Some air-conditioning remotes were faulty or missing batteries, requiring us to swap between rooms to find working ones. The telephone/RJ45 connection head was also broken and left dangling, with wiring not properly connected, which gave a poor impression of upkeep. In terms of sleeping comfort, the beds are quite soft and the pillows offer very little support. The positioning of the electrical wall outlets behind the bed also made it inconvenient, as we had to shift the bed forward to access the sockets. For kitchen use, it would be helpful to provide basic dishwashing supplies such as a small bottle of dishwashing liquid and a sponge, especially when only a few items are used in the dishwasher. On a positive note, the bathroom facilities are in good condition. Water pressure is strong and hot water is consistently available, which made showers comfortable. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there is clear room for improvement in maintenance and basic guest amenities.

Le strutture sono relativamente vecchie e le luci sono insensate. Non sono forniti scarpe e spazzole da denti.Il gel da doccia e lo shampoo sono di scarsa qualità. La stanza era al primo piano e c'era rumore, il suono del condizionatore d'aria o di altre macchine. Il colazione è semplice e non offre la delicatezza di diversi paesi: ha solo pane, frutta e alcune bevande. Una cassa separata di 50 AUD è richiesta al check-in, o 100 AUD in contanti.

Ero preoccupato a causa delle recensioni precedenti, ma ho trovato il personale della reception cordiale e disponibile e i servizi davvero buoni. La camera era essenziale, ma la posizione era raggiungibile a piedi e, sebbene a volte un po' rumoroso di notte, gli altri ospiti sono stati gentili e premurosi. Ci tornerei volentieri!
