Hotel con balcone a Cairns

Il costo è stato di circa 70.000 yen per tre notti. È un po' più caro di altri hotel, ma come già detto in altre recensioni, il mio soggiorno è stato impeccabile. Prima di tutto, era pulito. Per un hotel all'estero, questo livello di pulizia non ha nulla da invidiare a quello giapponese. Non ho avvertito alcun disagio. Come in altre recensioni, non ero sicuro della sostituzione degli asciugamani. Non li avrebbero sostituiti se li avessi semplicemente appesi al portasciugamani, quindi forse avrei dovuto lasciarli per terra. Una volta, quando sono andato in bagno verso le 19:00, non c'era acqua calda... forse perché era l'ora di punta. L'acqua era appena tollerabile (quasi fredda), quindi ho rinunciato e sono entrato. Credo che dipenda dall'ora del giorno. Altre volte, sono entrato verso le 22:00 e l'acqua calda era accettabile. C'era una cassaforte nell'armadio, così ho potuto riporre i miei oggetti di valore e partire. C'erano una lavatrice e un'asciugatrice. Costavano 8 dollari per 2 dollari per due lavaggi. Ho portato il detersivo, ma probabilmente lo si può acquistare in loco. A proposito, non ho visto nessuno nuotare in piscina. Se andate a Cairns, vi consiglio di non lesinare sui prezzi dell'hotel.

Vieto di esercizio. Ci siamo fermati in una suite che cadeva separata. La porta del gabinetto al mini frigo era bloccata e aveva bisogno di un sforzo per aprire/chiudere. Le casse da bagno erano difettose e non potevano chiudere completamente l'acqua. L'acqua si gonfiava dalla testa del doccia tutto il giorno/notte. Il custode non si era attento ai dettagli. Non riempiva i prodotti al contatore di vanità nella camera da bagno dopo essere stati usati. Come le padelle di cotone facciale e le padelle di cotone. Il pavimento non è stato né sbattuto né vuoto durante il nostro soggiorno. Le tende nella stanza erano sgombrate su un lato. Le tende sembravano troppo brevi e avevano grandi differenze tra loro. Abbiamo scelto una stanza non fumatori. Gli altri ospiti sono stati autorizzati a fumare dal loro balcone? Non poteva godere dell'aria fresca fuori al nostro balcone a causa dell'inalazione costante di 2nd-hand fumo. Che vergogna come la stanza aveva effettivamente una splendida vista sulla marina. Ansioso. La colazione al ristorante e alla sala VIP sono state ripetute e abbiamo avuto gli stessi articoli sopra il nostro 7-day. Più punto è la posizione dell'hotel. In generale, l'hotel datato che deve davvero essere aggiornato.

Nice room with own bathroom and shower. The pillow was like a brick, but otherwise great bunks! Huge and beautiful pool area. The club was also super nice. Nice and clean kitchen areas, multiple of them in the hostel (one in every level) so they weren’t too busy. Customer service was also amazing. Totally recommend!

Il servizio del personale alla reception varia da persona a persona, quindi non mi ha dato troppo fastidio. La pulizia era soddisfacente. Tuttavia, credo che potrebbero fornire due bottiglie di acqua minerale. Avendo soggiornato solo al Ramada e in questo hotel, non posso fare paragoni. La connessione Wi-Fi era buona. Anche le due colazioni erano soddisfacenti. La piscina è piccola, ma è un buon posto per rilassarsi.

We stayed here in 2024 and loved it so much that we come back this year ! It's situated in a great location, next door to Cairns Central so shopping was literally on our doorstep. The rooms are lovely and clean, there are 3 great swimming pools, and it's a nice walk to the esplanade where you can have a lovely walk into the centre and you'll have a great selection of eateries to choose from. Happy hour is offered by a lot of places, so we personally enjoyed having a drink and watching the sightseeing helicopter land right in front of you and watching the sun set ,it's just the best! It's also a pleasant walk to the Cock and Ball Pub going the other way but make sure you're hungry though because the meals are huge!!

I expected much better from a hotel carrying the Ramada name. We arrived just after midnight, exactly as we had advised the hotel in advance. To our surprise, the entrance gates were locked. There was a phone number on the gate to call for assistance, but despite repeated calls, nobody answered. We could see reception from outside, and could clearly hear the phone ringing, but there was no one there to help. After standing on the roadside for around 15 minutes with two tired children in the middle of the night, I ended up climbing over the locked fence just to unlock the gate from the inside so my family could enter. Once inside, we rang the reception bell several times before anyone appeared. Around 20 minutes later, the receptionist (a gentleman with long hair) eventually arrived. Rather than apologising for leaving a family locked outside at midnight, he simply said he had been ”dealing with something”, that there were ”100 guests and just him”, and told us, ”you need patience.” Those are his exact words. I appreciate that staff can be busy, but this was a complete failure of customer service. An apology would have gone a long way. Instead, we were met with rudeness and a dismissive attitude. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered. The hotel itself was also disappointing. The photos on the website appear to be either very old or heavily enhanced. The grounds look nothing like the promotional images—there are no palm trees as shown, and the swimming pool sits right beside the car park, giving it a very different feel from what is advertised. The one major positive is the location. It's within easy walking distance of the city centre, which was extremely convenient. Unfortunately, because of the poor customer service on arrival and the misleading impression created by the website photos, I would not choose to stay here again

Great hotel at a great price. Big, clean room with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The pool was also great and refreshing. Walking distance to all restaurants and major shops. They make good coffee in the hotel bar too! They don’t clean your room for stays of less than 7 nights, but we were able to get clean towels daily if we wanted them. Friendly staff and overall a great home for us while we visited Cairns!

The unit is adequate for my family of six for a 3-night stay. Basic necessities are generally met, and the overall stay was acceptable. However, there were several maintenance and usability issues that affected comfort. Some air-conditioning remotes were faulty or missing batteries, requiring us to swap between rooms to find working ones. The telephone/RJ45 connection head was also broken and left dangling, with wiring not properly connected, which gave a poor impression of upkeep. In terms of sleeping comfort, the beds are quite soft and the pillows offer very little support. The positioning of the electrical wall outlets behind the bed also made it inconvenient, as we had to shift the bed forward to access the sockets. For kitchen use, it would be helpful to provide basic dishwashing supplies such as a small bottle of dishwashing liquid and a sponge, especially when only a few items are used in the dishwasher. On a positive note, the bathroom facilities are in good condition. Water pressure is strong and hot water is consistently available, which made showers comfortable. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there is clear room for improvement in maintenance and basic guest amenities.

Buon ristorante cinese: cibo buono e prezzi ragionevoli. La finestra del bagno è orribile: i ragazzi alti possono facilmente sbirciare dentro la doccia, il che mette a disagio le mie familiari!

Ho soggiornato all'Hotel Tropiq a metà ottobre 2023 e ho trascorso un buon soggiorno. Lati positivi: ottima posizione con bar nelle vicinanze, ristorante indiano e ristorante britannico. Solo un taxi da $ 20 per il molo/porto turistico o 20 minuti a piedi dalla città. Il personale della reception era super gentile e disponibile. Piacevolmente, la stanza si adattava perfettamente anche alla mia battuta di pesca in solitaria. Aspetti negativi: l'Hotel Tropiq era molto semplice/ghetto con una disposizione particolare delle camere. I letti erano su rulli ed era difficile dormire. Finestre e porte scorrevoli erano molto dubbie. Nessuna zanzariera su una finestra! Era certamente uno stile di alloggio economico. In futuro alloggerò in un posto più carino se la mia ragazza si unirà a me
