Hotel sul mare a Cairns

Sono una viaggiatrice da sola. Un Uber dall'aeroporto costa circa 22 dollari e il viaggio dura più di 10 minuti. C'è un grande hotel dall'altra parte della strada. Ho soggiornato al settimo piano e l'ho trovato molto tranquillo. Più tardi, ho incontrato una donna cinese che viveva al quinto piano e mi ha detto che era un po' rumoroso. Tuttavia, potevo sentire chiaramente le persone che camminavano e parlavano nel corridoio. Il molo è molto vicino, con la passerella che porta al piano inferiore. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta dell'illuminazione del bagno e del volume dell'acqua della doccia. Era molto adatto alle donne che si truccano. Da allora ho soggiornato in hotel a Sydney considerati migliori e più costosi, ma l'illuminazione non era buona come questa. Il volume e la pressione dell'acqua della doccia erano relativamente buoni. Anche se la camera mostrava la sua età, era complessivamente decente.

Posizione incantevole, camera e bagno puliti e curati nei minimi dettagli. Tutti i comfort sono presenti e il personale è molto professionale. Nelle vicinanze si trovano l'Esplanade, bar e Woolworths. Spesso sono disponibili parcheggi di fronte alla struttura, sulla strada.

The hotel is in a very good location for exploring Cairns, a short walk to the harbour and even shorter walk for all kinds of restaurants, the hotel has its own restaurant where they serve a BBQ type meal with the meats being carved at your table. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful, Francesca was really lovely, there’s three lifts to all floors, our room 718, was very clean and tidy, lovely cool cotton sheets on a massive bed, a large TV and coffee and tea making facilities, the shower and toilet was ok maybe a bit dated but it served a purpose, the room was cleaned with fresh towels every day, we had breakfast in the hotel which was $25 each, its buffet style so have as much as you need, the restaurants around the hotel are very eclectic, but YaYas’ Greek restaurant is fantastic, the food the staff the atmosphere are all great, highly recommend you try it. All in all the hotel is at the heart of Cairns and all it has to offer.

The unit is adequate for my family of six for a 3-night stay. Basic necessities are generally met, and the overall stay was acceptable. However, there were several maintenance and usability issues that affected comfort. Some air-conditioning remotes were faulty or missing batteries, requiring us to swap between rooms to find working ones. The telephone/RJ45 connection head was also broken and left dangling, with wiring not properly connected, which gave a poor impression of upkeep. In terms of sleeping comfort, the beds are quite soft and the pillows offer very little support. The positioning of the electrical wall outlets behind the bed also made it inconvenient, as we had to shift the bed forward to access the sockets. For kitchen use, it would be helpful to provide basic dishwashing supplies such as a small bottle of dishwashing liquid and a sponge, especially when only a few items are used in the dishwasher. On a positive note, the bathroom facilities are in good condition. Water pressure is strong and hot water is consistently available, which made showers comfortable. Overall, the stay was acceptable, but there is clear room for improvement in maintenance and basic guest amenities.

This is the best value accomodation in Cairns in my experience, Ingrid the receptionist was very friendly and helpful I arrived early and they still checked me in and gave me a free upgrade from a standard room to an apartment, the location is excellent only a very short walk to the esplanade and amazing restaurants, free private parking available (although it is limited to availability) I think this will be my preference for staying in Cairns city from now on.

I expected much better from a hotel carrying the Ramada name. We arrived just after midnight, exactly as we had advised the hotel in advance. To our surprise, the entrance gates were locked. There was a phone number on the gate to call for assistance, but despite repeated calls, nobody answered. We could see reception from outside, and could clearly hear the phone ringing, but there was no one there to help. After standing on the roadside for around 15 minutes with two tired children in the middle of the night, I ended up climbing over the locked fence just to unlock the gate from the inside so my family could enter. Once inside, we rang the reception bell several times before anyone appeared. Around 20 minutes later, the receptionist (a gentleman with long hair) eventually arrived. Rather than apologising for leaving a family locked outside at midnight, he simply said he had been ”dealing with something”, that there were ”100 guests and just him”, and told us, ”you need patience.” Those are his exact words. I appreciate that staff can be busy, but this was a complete failure of customer service. An apology would have gone a long way. Instead, we were met with rudeness and a dismissive attitude. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered. The hotel itself was also disappointing. The photos on the website appear to be either very old or heavily enhanced. The grounds look nothing like the promotional images—there are no palm trees as shown, and the swimming pool sits right beside the car park, giving it a very different feel from what is advertised. The one major positive is the location. It's within easy walking distance of the city centre, which was extremely convenient. Unfortunately, because of the poor customer service on arrival and the misleading impression created by the website photos, I would not choose to stay here again

Great hotel at a great price. Big, clean room with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The pool was also great and refreshing. Walking distance to all restaurants and major shops. They make good coffee in the hotel bar too! They don’t clean your room for stays of less than 7 nights, but we were able to get clean towels daily if we wanted them. Friendly staff and overall a great home for us while we visited Cairns!

We were a group of 4 and we had 4 singles beds with was fine and we stayed 3 night. Room was basic but fine enough for us. Small mini fridge, tea coffee and kettle. We had paid for continental breakfast. The first morning was okay with just a very basic choices of cereal, toast, croissant, packaged cheese and sliced ham, some Greek yogurt, and tinned peaches, and whole fruit. Basic sachet instant coffee available for free but machine coffee was five dollars. What was very disappointing was for the other two mornings there was no yogurt no croissants and no fruit . When asked if they had Greek yoghurt they said they had run out and didn't have any . To me this is very unacceptable considering there is a Woolworths directly across the road from the hotel. No excuses to have run out of food for a breakfast that is paid for . The only option left to eat was either a slice of toast or a bowl of corn flakes ... absolutely ridiculous considering you pay for a continental breakfast.

ロケーションはとにかく良かったです。フェリー乗り場にも近くエスプラネード公共プールは徒歩数十秒、ナイトマーケットも2分ほどで着き、スーパーマーケットは道挟んだ向かいにあるなど最高の立地でした。 しかし立地以外は正直微妙で、良かった点はフロント横のウォーターサーバーで水が飲めることとバルコニーでタバコが吸えること、後はYouTubeや Netflixなどが自室のTVで観れることくらいです。 残念な点を上げると、まずシーツやタオルが不衛生。タオルはシミが付いていて匂いますしシーツも生乾きのような匂いがしました。バスルームはシャワーの水圧が信じられないほど弱く洗い流すのにとても時間がかかります。水はけが悪過ぎたのでフロントでお願いした所不在時に直してくれたのかマシになりましたがとにかく水圧もどうにかして欲しかったです。施設のプールはジャグジーがありましたが温かいわけでもなくイマイチ。スタッフは日中の方はフレンドリーで良い方が多かったですが夜間にいらした初老の男性は威圧的で何が不愉快なのか笑顔も一切無し。オーストラリアに一年ほど住んでいた為英語には不自由しない程度の語学力はあると思っていましたが、彼の言っていることは2回聞いてもよく分からず聞き返すと『もういい』と話しかけてきたくせに終わらせる始末。正直不快な気分でした。 昔近くのマントラトリロジーに泊まった際はここまで不満は感じなかったと記憶しています。 しばらくケアンズに行く予定はもうないですが、次また選ぶかというと無しかな、という感想です。 親切に対応して下さったスタッフの方々はありがとうございました。

Un alloggio ben presentato con tutto quello che hai bisogno. Mi piaceva davvero l'ora del desktop front. Sono aperti fino a 10.30 pm. L'unico guasto è che il wi fi non funzionava.
