Hotel 3 stelle a Guangzhou

La posizione dell'hotel è fantastica! Appena fuori si trovano Beijing Road e Tianhe City, il che rende comodo andare ovunque. Ci sono anche tantissimi posti buoni per il tè del mattino nelle vicinanze. Le volte precedenti che sono venuto a Guangzhou ho sempre alloggiato vicino alla stazione est, ma questa zona di Beijing Road mi ha fatto sentire un'atmosfera più autentica e vivace di Guangzhou. Sebbene la camera fosse un po' più piccola del previsto, aveva una lavatrice e la ragazza alla reception era non solo bella ma anche gentile. Lo consiglio vivamente!

I booked this hotel despite knowing it’s a bit far from the city center, typically requiring a 45-minute to 1-hour cab ride or a 1.5-hour journey by metro (there are two metro stations nearby). After calculating the cost savings of staying here and using cabs versus staying downtown, I found it worth it. That said, if you’re on a tight schedule, the location might not be ideal. One of the main reasons I chose this place was its newness, spaciousness, and the inclusion of a washing machine, which is essential for longer stays. However, since the property is newly established, many nearby F&B options are still under construction, especially around the hotel area. That said, there are nearby malls like Wanda Mall where you can find food and other necessities. A café and a mini-mart are already operational, and the area might become livelier in a few months. Cleanliness: I have to put it out there that I am particular when it comes to cleanliness. While the hotel is clean overall, there seems to be a lack of consistent training for the housekeeping staff. For instance, despite the initial unclean room being promptly addressed and replaced, I noticed a pile of hair/dust in one spot from Day 4 until the end of our stay—it remained untouched. I do hope that the cleaning staff would take extra precautions and being more thorough during their rounds. Overall, the cleaning staff were friendly and apologetic when reminded, but it would have been better if the cleaning was consistently thorough without needing reminders (almost on a daily basis). Amenities: I appreciated the Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom—it was a nice touch and made my stay more enjoyable. However, I did have an issue with the towels. While they were new and clean, I wished they had better quality. The towel piles would shed and stick to my body and face after use, which was frustrating. I hope this is something the hotel can address in the future. Service : The service has its highs and lows, but I will still give it a 5 as the staffs are friendly and apologetic for the issue caused. For instance, when we initially received an unclean room, the staff promptly moved us to a clean one and offered complimentary breakfast (though we didn’t end up using it). The hotel’s service WeChat was efficient, and staff responded quickly to requests. However, there were a few hiccups. For example, when we requested detergent and later asked for extra water upon delivery, the staff appeared slightly taken aback and commented on why we didn’t request both at the same time. While it might have been a minor misunderstanding, the comment and attitude felt unnecessary. One major inconvenience was the WiFi, which went down twice during our stay—once for an entire day. This was especially frustrating as I was on a work trip and had to rely on roaming, which incurred additional charges. While the staff apologized and reimbursed us, stable WiFi is essential and should be a priority. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money if you don’t mind the distance. I do hope that the hotel will have a better cleaning SOP in future.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per un viaggio di lavoro e sono rimasto nel complesso molto soddisfatto! La sua posizione vicino alla fermata della metropolitana rende gli spostamenti verso i vari quartieri commerciali estremamente convenienti. La camera è spaziosa e luminosa, con un arredamento semplice ma elegante, e la pulizia è impeccabile. Il materasso offre un ottimo supporto, perfetto per rilassarsi dopo una giornata intensa. La doccia ha una pressione dell'acqua abbondante e i prodotti da bagno sono di buona qualità. La connessione Wi-Fi è stabile e sufficiente per le attività lavorative quotidiane. Ho apprezzato molto la camera doppia che ho prenotato. Il personale è molto cordiale e risponde prontamente a ogni esigenza. Anche il ristorante dell'hotel è ottimo, comodo per mangiare. Nei dintorni ci sono numerosi centri commerciali, il che rende facile trovare un posto dove mangiare e fare acquisti. La vista panoramica dalle finestre a tutta altezza è un valore aggiunto, e l'ambiente è tranquillo e confortevole. Le condizioni generali di questo hotel sono molto competitive nella zona di Tianhe, rendendolo ideale per viaggi di lavoro e altamente raccomandato.

La seconda volta che sono venuti a quattro città marine per il dinosauro, questa volta ho scelto la riva di Hisbang, più soddisfatta dell'ultima volta, la posizione è molto conveniente. Devo ammettere che l'hotel è molto comodo, dato che si trova molto vicino alla stazione della metropolitana di Nanzhou. La camera in cui ho soggiornato era spaziosa, confortevole e molto pulita. Purtroppo, la Cina non ha ancora introdotto una legge antifumo negli hotel e molte delle camere di questa struttura sono riservate ai fumatori. Sebbene la mia camera fosse immacolata e inodore, i corridoi spesso puzzavano di fumo di sigaretta a causa di altri ospiti che lasciavano le porte aperte per motivi che non riuscivo a capire. Sebbene questo sia consentito in Cina e non sia necessariamente un difetto dell'hotel, spero che le normative cambino presto. Per quanto riguarda la camera, avevo qualche perplessità sull'insonorizzazione: il rumore del traffico e i rumori dei lavori in corso provenienti da un cantiere dall'altra parte della strada erano piuttosto evidenti. Un punto importante da sottolineare: non ho trovato personale alla reception che parlasse inglese. Sebbene sia vero che oggi disponiamo di molti strumenti per la traduzione in tempo reale, credo che in un hotel moderno che accoglie ospiti internazionali, avere almeno un membro del personale che parli inglese alla reception dovrebbe essere un requisito fondamentale. È essenziale per ricevere consigli locali su ristoranti, servizi, indicazioni stradali e altro ancora. Un'altra piccola nota da una prospettiva europea: la colazione era interamente tradizionale cantonese, senza opzioni internazionali disponibili, solo un po' di frutta. Inoltre, le etichette dei prodotti alimentari non erano in altre lingue, il che potrebbe creare confusione per alcuni ospiti. Nel complesso, la mia esperienza è stata molto positiva e credo che questo hotel abbia un grande potenziale di miglioramento in futuro. Ci tornerei? Sì.

The owner is very nice - very chatty and easy to talk to. My luggage was crazy heavy and he helped me with it and loaded it onto the didi for me as well, which I really appreciate! Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of the accommodation because I was sooo busy and tired~ The area is 20 min to 体育西路 which I love going to because there's a whole basement of anime and donghua merch you can get from there! Plenty to eat too. Breakfast was simple but good and to my liking. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed showering there! The heated toilet bowls really make a difference. They have cats in the lobby as well. There is only one washer and dryer in the lobby that you can only use from breakfast time onwards so travellers who intend to wash and dry your clothes there do take note~ I was there past midnight and the young guy at the reception kind of mixed up my room, and didn't tell me about breakfast either 🥲 so I only had breakfast on the last day of my stay hahaha! Anyways on the first day I was in Changsha for a day trip, and I was notified that they would have to shift my stuff to my new room because there was a mistake in the room type, which was fine by me! But the housekeeper kind of just threw all my stuff into my luggage without any care so my clean clothes and dirty airplane clothes were mixed together with my used undergarments and my books were bent :( my dresses were also still in the wardrobe in the previous room and they didn't bring it to my new room so I had to wear a dress that I haven't washed the next day 😅 but I didn't want to make a fuss since I came back to the hotel from Changsha at about 2am and understood that the owner can't possibly wake the occupants in the room to retrieve my clothes. Also the next morning the housekeeper was pretty nice so there's that! In conclusion I will still choose this accommodation when I'm back in GZ as its value for money, really clean and has chill vibes, and near 广州东站~ Way better than the other place I stayed at (M*m**nt Hotel hahahah)

Very clean! Hotel is close to subway, bus stop and right cross street from a huge shopping mall. The best part is——it’s pretty quiet in the room. I slept like a baby. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very close to the subway station, the area is quite international. The room is very comfortable and very worth it price wise. The breakfast was very nice and the staff even nicer. I would definitely stay here again.
