Hotel in zona Mural Agustina Bessa - Luís, Porto

Comfortable rooms and location easy enough to get into all parts of the city using Uber, which are very reasonable and cost around 3 euros to the furthest point at the river. You could walk but my father has some mobility issues and the uber was much faster, allowing us to expore poroto without tiring from the walk into town. The hotel is kept well, is cosy and inviting once inside, dont be put off by the exterior. Rooms were very well designed for the price bracket. Attention to detail of items in the bathroom need to be addressed though. Soap dish was loose on the wall as was the faucet on the bathroom sink. Small details that bring an otherwise very nice room below its potential. Although a little firm for me, I still slept very well on the bed. No external noise heard and quiet and effective air conditioning. The safe was an issue for me. We had 2 rooms and the safe was not bolted into the wardrobe, you could remove the safe if you wanted to. This makes the safe redundant and concerned me. The front desk also do not have their own safe for guest valuables. However we had no issued and our belongings remained untouched. The hotels did lock our belongings into a storage room on our last day. I would definitely stay here again and I think this hotel offers both an element of luxury whilst remaining a mid priced option. The staff were also very helpful and attentive.

I arrived at the hotel on 20 November 2022 for a 5 night stay. The stay was business related and with so many hotels to choose from, I decided to go with the Porto Palacio. What an excellent choice! The hotel is absolutely brilliant - I cannot find a fault. Check-in was very smooth and on arrival to the room - wow - very modern, crisp clean sheets on the bed and a spacious room. In terms of food, the Breakfast experience was the best part of the stay for me. I have stayed in many hotels around the world - both on a personal basis and a business basis - I can honestly say that the breakfast staff at the Porto Palacio are the best I've ever come across. On arrival, I was seated quickly. On Day 1, the staff members memorised what I had that cannot be chosen by the buffet - for example, a tea and two plates (as I like two plates) - on Days 2 and for the rest of the trip, I didn't even need to ask. I was called by my Title and Surname on arrival. The whole experience was brilliant. I would like to mention a lady called Rosa and another lady (they both greet staff members at the door) - their hospitality skills are great and they are always smiling - nothing is too much for them. I didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening but had room service as personally, I like to relax after a day at the office. The food was of good quality and was tasty and piping hot. I used the gym during my stay - the gym is open to members of the public, therefore is not your usual hotel gym. It's huge - there are loads of machines and I was never waiting for someone to finish using something. Staff members are friendly. All in all - a brilliant stay and is a genuine 5 star hotel! I will return to the Porto Palacio both on a business basis and also on a personal basis - Porto looks like a great city! It's a shame that I didn't have time to look around as I had a busy schedule but I will certainly be back! Thank you!!

Checked in on 18/04/23 for a birthday treat with a friend. Staff were very courteous, nothing too much trouble. Hotel was spotlessly clean, and breakfast was plentiful. My roommate forgot her toothbrush and was given a free toothbrush and toothpaste. Happily printed off our boarding passes for us for our flights home. 10/10

Le strutture sono grandi e molto moderne, il colazione è stato sorprendente e ha avuto una grande varietà di scelte.

This place is actually an old motel that has clearly gone bankrupt and still tries to get naive customers to a trap. It smells of mold, there is no shower ( just a broken whirlpool ), there is no maintenance and the staff is clearly unwilling to look after the guests. To make it worse - if possible - they tried to cheat Booking pretending I was not there ( although I have my credit cards statements to prove ) just not to pay their commission. When I wrote this on the Booking review the owner was extremely impolite and aggressive , as his plote was denounced. Honestly, it makes no sense staying there even if it was for free. Run away from this joint!!

Nella seconda delle due notti passate con la mia ragazza abbiamo sentito forti rumori provenire dalla stanza adiacente. Un uomo urlava e sbatteva qualsiasi cosa, oggetti, ante dell'armadio e colpiva anche il muro. Son sceso alle 5.50 in reception per avvisare e mi è stato detto che avrebbero chiamato la polizia. Alle 6.20 ho richiamato in reception e mi è stato ripetuta la stessa cosa. Alle 9 del mattino mentre uscivo ho chiesto informazioni e al desk mi han detto che erano aggiornati tra il turno della notte e del mattino. Quando ho fatto il check out abbiamo sentito di nuovo l'uomo urlare. In un hotel in cui non si possa garantire la sicurezza degli ospiti non vorrei entrarci nonostante mi sia piaciuto l'arredo e abbia pagato un prezzo molto conveniente. In più, nello stesso periodo c'era anche una scolaresca nella struttura. Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo la certezza ci fosse una donna nella stanza ma l'avevamo sentita la sera intorno alle 23 prima di dormire. Dal sorgere del problema al checkout non abbiamo mai avuto informazioni a riguardo e non sappiamo le condizioni della poveretta. La polizia o la vigilanza non sono MAI arrivati.

Posso anche iniziare la mia recensione con l'unico negativo che potevo trovare. Questa era la zona di fumo direttamente fuori dall'entrata dell'hotel. Così, non appena si apriva la porta per andare a fumare sigarette, è entrato anche. E ora le buone parti, senza dubbio, gli hotel, il più grande attributo sono il personale. La nostra settimana ha iniziato con una accoglienza molto calda da un giovane che era molto gentile e molto utile. Purtroppo, ho dimenticato il suo nome. Ma non credo che sia importante, perché è un tema ricorrente durante tutto il nostro soggiorno . Un giovane che ha bisogno di una menzione speciale che lavora dietro il bar mi ha detto che aveva solo 20 anni, che non credevo, perché è uno dei più onesti, fidati e sinceri persone che ho la fortuna di incontrare. È solo che non tutti i giovani hanno un atteggiamento, ora devo dire che tutti coloro che lavorano dietro il bar sono stati fantastici e gentili, quindi a nome della mia moglie e vorrei ringraziarvi tutti. Ma Andre Martins sei una superstar dal mio cuore, meriti un patto sul retro e una promozione. Un giorno, il mio amico, sono sicuro che sarai il manager. Assolutamente niente era troppo difficile. La gestione dovrebbe essere molto orgogliosa. La stanza era fantastica, vista sul fiume era pulita e temperata con molte camere. Abbiamo mangiato all'hotel e ogni volta che la moglie stava correndo fuori dal vino, qualcuno venne a fargli un po' di bottiglia. Le sue parole erano esattamente come una principessa, è stato bello che il personale ci ha fatto sentire molto speciale, il cibo era molto bello e noi due consigliamo. In tempo utile, torneremo all'hotel, come era ben situato. Grazie per l'inizio del nostro tour in Portogallo.

Siamo in un ottimo appartamento di 2 camere a Gaia Residence, che è coniugato all'hotel Hollyday Inn. L'appartamento è completo con letti per 4, una piccola cucina, soggiorno e una piccola tavola da pranzo. Tutto è perfetto fino all'ora di un ottimo caffè mattina, abbastanza completo, ma servito nello stesso ambiente per entrambi gli hotel. Ecco i problemi di superlotazione. Una guerra!!!

Emplacement très proche de l’aéroport. Le parking est top les places sont très larges donc pratique pour décharger les valises. La chambre est spacieuse et le lit très confortable. Le petit point négatif c’est la douche et les toilettes qui sont séparés par des vitres transparentes donc niveau intimité pas top. La personne aux toilettes est visible du lit haha ! Le petit déjeuné est agréable mais pas non plus extraordinaire. Juste le nécessaire sans plus.

L'hotel è situato a circa 20 minuti da Porto. Ben comunicato con l'autobus quasi alla porta e perfettamente se si va in macchina. La pulizia è straordinaria, sia nelle camere che nel resto dei soggiorni. La lenzuola (toaletti e vestiti da letto) di buona qualità. Elegante avere aria condizionata nella stanza. Tutti i membri del personale molto amichevole in qualsiasi momento e dando soluzione alle nostre consultazioni sempre con un sorriso (appartamenti, reception, buffet) La colazione corretta. Un grande dettaglio fare un guincio alla gastronomia portoghese offrendo torte di cocco. Il parcheggio chiuso e gratuito è anche un plus da valutare. Vorrei congratularmi con la gestione dell'azienda e con tutti i dipendenti che lo rendono possibile. Si nota tutto il lavoro che c'è dietro per farci sentire così bene. ¡ Congratulazioni, equipaggio!
