Review: A Beautiful, Design-Led Oasis in Fisherman’s Village We recently stayed at the Hansar Samui, and it is truly a beautiful property with a thoughtful design. The location is perfect—just a short, pleasant stroll away from Fisherman’s Village, making it easy to explore the local area while still feeling like you have a quiet retreat to return to. The Highlights Dining Experience: The breakfast was a standout. I particularly appreciated having eggs made fresh to order; there is nothing worse than pre-cooked, rubbery eggs left under heat lamps, so this was a huge bonus for me. The Vibe: The swimming pool is lovely, and the beach is kept very clean. The hotel maintains a relaxed atmosphere, complemented by a great selection of background music. Service & Little Touches: The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. I loved the ”turn-down” service around 5:00 PM, where housekeeping brought little chocolates and water—an adorable touch that made us feel looked after. Facilities: The gym is clean and well-maintained. Crucially for those working remotely, the Wi-Fi was excellent and reliable enough for me to take Zoom meetings without any issues. Room Design: The rooms are beautifully decorated with stunning balconies and views. The bathroom was a highlight, especially the large rainfall shower. Room Comfort & Maintenance We did have a significant issue with the bed. The mattresses are very soft, which didn't suit us at all as my husband has a bad back. It made sleeping quite difficult. However, the staff were wonderful and tried their best to accommodate us; they helped remove the mattress so we could sleep on the wooden base with just the mattress topper. While not ”luxury” comfort, it was much better for his back than the soft mattress. We also had a few issues with a temperamental toilet flush, but to the hotel's credit, maintenance was very prompt in coming to fix it each time. Dining & Logistics We had dinner at the restaurant one evening, ordering the Massaman curry and Chicken Panang. While the food was edible, it was just ”okay”—we were perhaps expecting a bit more given how high the quality of breakfast was. That said, the view from the restaurant in the evening is spectacular, and they occasionally have lovely entertainment. One small hiccup occurred when we booked a taxi through the hotel to take us to the pier for our trip to Koh Phangan. The driver unfortunately dropped us at the wrong port. We had to quickly catch a Grab to the correct one, but luckily we made it just in time for our ferry. Overall Despite a few minor glitches, this was a wonderful stay. The aesthetic of the hotel is gorgeous, and the professionalism of the staff ensures that any issues are handled quickly. I would definitely recommend Hansar for anyone looking for a stylish and relaxed stay in Samui!

Abbiamo trascorso sicuramente il miglior soggiorno al Ritz Carlton Koh Samui. Il personale è stato estremamente cordiale e disponibile, si sono persino impegnati a fare due chiacchiere e a informarsi su come stavamo. Ci hanno accompagnato in buggy dalla camera alla hall, e persino ai servizi. La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato era fantastica. Il servizio di pulizia era impeccabile, pulivano la nostra camera due volte al giorno. La posizione dell'hotel era a circa 30 minuti di taxi/Grab dall'aeroporto e da Chaweng Central Samui, nonostante il traffico.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso al Chaweng Beach Garden Resort a Koh Samui. Fin dal mio arrivo, sono stata accolta calorosamente e mi sono sentita davvero a casa. Ho apprezzato molto la possibilità di effettuare il check-in anticipato, che ha reso il mio arrivo ancora più comodo e rilassante. La mia camera era impeccabile, ben tenuta e molto accogliente, esattamente come me l'aspettavo. Uno dei momenti più belli del mio soggiorno è stata sicuramente la colazione servita direttamente sulla spiaggia. La scelta era eccellente e non lasciava nulla a desiderare, il tutto godendo di una splendida vista sul mare. Durante tutto il soggiorno, il personale è stato sempre gentile, attento e incredibilmente disponibile. La loro ospitalità ha fatto davvero la differenza e ha arricchito l'esperienza complessiva. Ci tornerei volentieri e consiglio vivamente questo resort a chiunque visiti Koh Samui.

Amazing stay at Garrya! Exceptional service, stunning sunrise views from the villa, and a great location not far from Fisherman’s Village, Chaweng, and Cheongmon Beach. Loved the daily in-room snacks, birthday surprise with cake, and the warm smiles from staff. The private beach doesn’t have the softest sand, but is very beautiful and perfect for peace and quiet. Buggy service was always proactive. Highly recommend self-driving for convenience.

Il design dell'hotel è elegante e di buon gusto, il servizio è di alta qualità e misurato, lo scenario della spiaggia dell'hotel è bellissimo e gli ospiti sono fondamentalmente turisti europei e americani. Non c'è alcun fenomeno rumoroso e rumoroso dei singoli turisti asiatici. La qualità è relativamente alta. È una delle belle scelte per i viaggi e il tempo libero. Verrò di nuovo se ne avrò l'opportunità.

Era la seconda volta che soggiornavo in questo hotel. Dopo il primo soggiorno, mi erano rimaste solo emozioni e impressioni positive. Ho deciso di tornarci. Invano!!! Sono rimasto deluso. ((( Per qualche motivo, alcune camere sono vuote e non ti danno scelta, dicendo che sono tutte prenotate. Nei due giorni in cui ho soggiornato in questo hotel, nessuno ha fatto il check-in in quelle camere. Mi hanno offerto una camera (e i prezzi non erano esattamente economici per questo hotel) nel cortile sul retro, dove erano in corso i lavori di ristrutturazione. La camera è molto spaziosa e ha TUTTO il necessario per un soggiorno rilassante. Ma!!! Il water perde continuamente e non scarica, e la doccia è nel bagno, che non è rialzato. Non c'è tenda o divisorio. Fai la doccia e tutta l'acqua finisce sul pavimento del bagno, poi nuoti e pensi: ”Spero di non scivolare”. Forse non so come fare la doccia?))) La camera ha un odore molto umido. Il condizionatore, in linea con la buona vecchia tradizione thailandese, è posizionato proprio di fronte al letto e soffia direttamente sulla vostra testa. La posizione della distribuzione dell'aria non cambia. La scelta è tra congelarsi e prendere un raffreddore, o soffocare per l'afa. Ho sofferto per due notti. Di positivo: il ristorante e la cucina, le colazioni sono di prim'ordine, inoltre si mangia con una splendida vista sul mare, il giardino è eccellente e la piscina è pulitissima. Il personale è super disponibile, semplicemente adorabile. Il segno distintivo di questo hotel è la sua attenzione ai dettagli! Tanti piccoli dettagli, complimenti e momenti interessanti per costruire la propria immagine. Tutto potrebbe essere descritto come ”orientato al cliente”! Non so perché mi sia successo. Probabilmente è colpa mia.

Another Amari disappointing stay. first was amari hua hin and 2nd is this hotel. stayed in amari koh samui for 4nights, we just got back from koh samui a few days ago. location wise sure cant deny that, it's by the beach front, 5 mins drive away from central koh samui mall and walking from the night life but so does other resorts around the area. when you get to the hotel specially after paying so much per night and to be classified as a 5 star hotel, you expect a good service, a 5 star service. Specially when the first point of contact to the customer service is the front staffs, however very disappointing. Most, if not all of the staffs doesnt seem to smile at all. We arrived early so we had lunch first and sure they managed to give us earlier check in at almost 2pm, their check in is at 3pm. we let it go perhaps we were just too tired and sensitive as we just arrived in koh samui and it was humid, however, throughout our stay their customer service was absolutely lacking. VERY LACKING. specially a few staffs driving the buggy service, we even had an accident one time when we were on our way back to the room, one of the driver drove so fast, THEY ALL DRIVE REALLY FAST, and he rammed onto one of the on coming buggy, i was holding my baby so tight. luckily nothing happened to us. same buggy driver who was had a grumpy look the entire stay and we saw him throwing luggages on to the buggy instead of handling them with care. so when you are taking a buggy, tell them to drive slow. the room, we booked a connecting room, which was a mistake. booking 2 rooms would have been cheaper but anyhow, the room was not clean at all, the bathtub was moldy the floors felt dirty and there were alot of mosquitos every single day. first day we arrived we killed 10 mosquitos in one room whats up with that. breakfast had good selections, they have 3 pools around the resorts as it is a big resort best one is the one over looking the beach, kid friendly pool. they have kids room, not that big just a small room.. anyway overall would i come back here in Amari Koh Samui, absolutely NOT. Would i recommend amari koh samui, absolutely NOT. if you want to stay in a beach front, there are alot of beach front resorts near amari and around the area check that out.. they did something nice from my baby;s birthday, decorated the mirror and gave cake so i appreciated that. with kids i would recommend hyatt koh samui, they are friendlier to kids and service is top notch. we moved there after amari THANK GOODNESS

Ho adorato questo hotel. Inizialmente avevo prenotato per quattro notti, ma ho deciso di prolungare il soggiorno perché mi sono innamorata dell'hotel e non ho voluto cambiare sistemazione. Inizialmente ho alloggiato in una villa con vista sul giardino e ne sono stata molto soddisfatta. Poi ho fatto l'upgrade a una camera superior con vista sul tramonto e ne sono rimasta assolutamente entusiasta ❤️ Tutto è pulito, il personale è sempre gentile e attento, ci sono sempre asciugamani a disposizione in piscina, la spiaggia è splendida e la zona piscina è confortevole. I giardini sono incredibilmente belli, immersi nel verde. Le camere sono pulite e fresche e ci sono telecamere di sicurezza in tutta la struttura, il che dà un senso di sicurezza. Cibo delizioso. Posizione comoda. Accogliente, tranquillo, pacifico e bellissimo. Lo consiglio vivamente. Grazie per l'aiuto, capo.

L'ambiente è così bello, come vivere in una foresta pluviale tropicale, circondati da ogni tipo di pianta, che sembra quasi che dormire sia una perdita di tempo, quindi abbiamo esitato se rimanere in hotel per goderci il tempo libero o andare alle vicine spiagge di Lamai o Chaweng. Alla fine, abbiamo scoperto che anche prendere la navetta gratuita dell'hotel per Lamai è una buona scelta. La colazione è davvero ottima, soprattutto il salmone marinato, che non è salato ed è molto più delizioso di quello che abbiamo mangiato in molti hotel in Svizzera. L'hotel ha una spiaggia privata, non molto grande, ed è anche molto piacevole soggiornarci per un'ora o due. Le due piscine a sfioro sono piacevoli e si possono ammirare le magnifiche onde che si infrangono sulla riva. I bambini si sono divertiti un mondo a giocare in piscina sotto il ristorante ”Breakfast Moon”, e poi hanno giocato un po' nella piscina della camera. La camera ha un'ampia area a due piani, il servizio è molto attento e le bevande, la frutta e gli snack gratuiti in camera sono infiniti.

È un posto molto buono per rilassarsi, davvero tranquillo, rilassarsi, bella alloggio, luci, luce, aria fredda, parlare, tutto bene se andare a Samui di nuovo. Sicuramente rimarrà di nuovo.
