UUtente ospiteDar D'or Fes is the definition of hospitality. Namir and his staff went beyond our expectations and took great care of us from the beginning. He provides useful information for navigating the medina and advice for finding good tour guides and day trip providers. Alrhough the stairs were quite steep to get to our suite, the staff made sure we didn't have to carry our luggage up. They were also extremely flexible to accommodate our itinerary. We had to leave at 8am for our day trip to chefchaouen and the day of departure and on both days they prepared breakfast for us prior to the regular time. All in all, it was a very heart warming experience staying at Dar D'or Fes. I will give it q score of AMAZING out of 10!

MMaria.OOur stay at Riad Al-Ansari in Fez was exceptional in every way. Perfectly located in the heart of the Medina, this Riad offers unparalleled service and attention to detail. The owners, a lovely French couple with deep ties to Fez, were incredibly attentive and helpful, making us feel right at home. As well as their amazing manager. Their passion for Moroccan culture shines through in the beautiful decor and warm hospitality. Highly recommended for a truly authentic experience experience!

Chambre propre et literie confortable
Salle de bain très petite, douche sans bac, l eau coule directement sur le sol et l’eau met pas mal de temps à s écouler par le syphon: pas trop pratique si vous êtes pressés et que vous devez prendre votre douche l un après l’autre rapidement .
Le support de pommeau de douche cassé, il fallait le tenir à la main
Produits d hygiène a ramener, shampooing non fourni ( difficile quand on voyage avec bagage en cabine pour 2-3 jours)
Service de petit déjeuner basique, dommage pour certains produits commerciaux ( olives noires et fromage quiri )
Crepe et brioche préparé sur place, elles étaient très bonne
Emplacement parfait , juste à côté d un de suq de la vieille médina
Pour manger il y a plein de restos sur place mais ils sont relativement chers car on est en zone touristique
Ne pas hésiter à aller manger dans la ville nouvelle, on y va avec taxi pour 2€ par trajet (4€ a/r)
Attention: l hôtel affirme accepter la carte bancaire mais nous n avons pas pu régler 170dirham(17€) par carte car commission trop importante . Que les montants élevés sont acceptés ( à prendre en compte si vous payez en fin de séjour et que vous avez l’argent compté)
Wifi gratuit , terrasse sympa mais dommage ne pas y pouvoir prendre le petit dej
Dans l ensemble séjour agréable et rapport qualité prix correcte

Отель невероятно красивый внутри, но комнаты крошечные, окна выходят не на улицу, а в общий холл, где постоянно находятся гости и хозяева отеля (с раннего утра в холле завтракают и звенят тарелками, а вечером до позднего вечера ужинают). В целом отель выглядит не очень чисто и опрятно, и мы даже спасались от огромного таракана одной ночью. В середине нашего отдыха мы отравились и совсем перестали ходить на завтрак (это был единственный раз за 3 месяца проведенные в Марокко)
Также жаль, что в номерах нет чайников и холодильников.

DDarrenL'Hotel Sahrai, un hotel privato e bello al di fuori della Medina, è una buona scelta per i viaggiatori che desiderano vivere al di fuori della gru e del busto della città antica. Le strutture fornite erano di prima classe, anche se la selezione del colazione e la qualità del pranzo potevano essere migliorate. Questa è una buona scelta se hai un sacco di bagagli, perché le auto non sono permesse a cadere in Riad all'interno della Medina.

UUtente ospiteMy stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager.
We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay.
Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day.
At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay.
The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring.
What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here.

AAngie Laibaby ArmchannelAmore questo Riad, è così pulito e bellissimo all'interno e al tetto con una bella vista panoramica . Prima di arrivare il riad, mi hanno inviato un'e-mail chiedendo il mio WhatsApp in modo che possano inviare me l'esatto luogo e quindi videoclip per me a sapere come arrivare lì, poiché Google map non funziona quando arrivare all'interno della Medina . Dissero: “Se non riuscissi davvero a trovare il modo, potevano prendermi in una delle entrate della riad. Pensavo di poterlo trovare, ma non riuscivo a chiamarli. Uno dei miei uomini uscì immediatamente e mi aiutava a prendere il bagaglio. I due giovani impiegati sono molto utili e amichevoli, e poiché sono arrivato così tardi, un impiegato (dovrebbe essere chiamato Abdullah) mi ha portato fuori di nuovo, così posso rimbalzare come uscire e di nuovo la prossima volta. L'altro giovane staff mi ha portato anche dove posso trovare un negozio amichevole e conveniente vicino per ottenere essenziali. Li amava e così utile. Il colazione era anche bello. L'AC all'interno della stanza è buono e la pressione idrica e il calore erano buoni anche ! Rmb per portare le strutture perché non forniscono bagni o spazzole dentali. Raccomandare al riad di avere un bastone di gomma nella stanza invece di solo all'interno del bagno.

La zona pubblica è la destinazione del viaggio, con Marocco e Fest.L'apparecchiatura della camera d'albergo è un po'sensibile.Due giorni di vino all'hotel, il personale di servizio ha una grande differenza tra la comprensione dell'ora felice e il pubblico. Comunicare e coordinare ogni giorno in hotel e in tutti i dipartimenti, è buono, pratica le mani.

UUtente ospiteThe Riad is right for the price. It's centrally located at the Medina. I got the room at the rooftop. No lift, only a narrowed spiral staircase. You have to carry your luggage up & down. If you are elderly and have issues with your back or knee problem this place is not for you.
If you need to talk to the owner of the Riad you have to watsapp him if you have any concerns. I had an issue with my door lock. Luckily, they quickly addressed my issue & changed my door lock immediately.

UUtente ospiteA very beautiful riad in the middle of medina, we are so happy to have stayed here. Mesmerising inner court, authentic-looking room, and a wonderful host Youssef, who is very welcoming and always ready to help.
We stayed in the end of December, so it wasn’t exactly warm in the room, and if there was a heater of some sort, that would be just perfect. But then again, it was the 4th riad in a row we stayed at, and it was the warmest of them all even without aircon or heater. With that being said, I’m sure the temperature would feel just perfect during spring, summer or autumn.
Thank you again to Youssef and the team, you left us a wonderful memory of Fes❤️
