UUtente ospiteEverything about this place, from location to hospitality, is amazing! The homestay arranged to pick us up at an intersection and carried our luggages all the way.
The sound proofing of the rooms are not that good though, so a word of caution for light sleepers.
During our stay, 小李 took really good care of us, never failed to ask what we intended to do on each day, provided help and suggestionsto us on what to do. We started and ended each day chatting with him. 😊
On our check out day, we had to leave at 6.30am to Shangri-La and 小李 woke up to help us with our luggages and waited with us till our driver came! We could not thank him enough and appreciate him going all the way to help us.
We had a wonderful 5-day stay and Lijiang made an impression on us. We definitely recommend anyone to stay there..

MMichelle 琪惠This is an excellent place to stay for anyone looking to unwind and catch the sunrise.
It is approximately 15 minutes from the key sunrise (日照金山) viewing spots and about 30 minutes from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山). The location offers a thoughtful balance of convenience and tranquillity.
Ride-hailing via DIDI is straightforward (there’s always a ride confirmed within a few seconds), and Baisha Ancient Town (白沙古镇) is less than a 10-minute walk away.
For those planning to visit Shuhe Ancient Town (束河古镇) and Lijiang Ancient City (丽江古城), they are about 15 minutes and 30 minutes away respectively. Yundu (云渡) is well-situated for both nature excursions and easy access to the surrounding towns.
The service is excellent—my room was consistently cleaned while I was at breakfast—and other meals (lunch/dinner) can be ordered from the kitchen at very reasonable prices.
One of the highlights of my stay, however, was returning each day to their seven-month-old Samoyed, who is friendly and playful whenever he is not entertaining other guests. I initially planned to stay four nights but extended to seven because of the cosy atmosphere, convenient location, and daily playtime with Sanjin (三斤).
You can also ask the front desk or message them on WeChat anytime—everyone there is so friendly and helpful. One day, they even surprised me with a bun from Henan, which was such a sweet touch.

Suggerimento: restare nella vecchia città di Lijiang, ma vicino alla strada principale.Eviterà la difficoltà di portare il bagaglio,
1) Il proprietario dei soggiorni a casa ha organizzato entrambi il trasferimento preso dal treno. Da la zona di parcheggio alla casa di soggiorno circa 300m , i bagagli sono stati consegnati al soggiorno al momento dell'arrivo ma dobbiamo trasportare noi stessi quando parte.. nessun scherzo .. Dobbiamo andare perché la strada è una strada di pietra ineguale con le montagne.Buon esercizio, sudorare molto.
2) Abbiamo lasciato la casa presto, il proprietario ha organizzato il pranzo con pensiero.Coccolato e ossigeno portatile per il nostro viaggio Yulong montagna.
3) fornisce molte informazioni utili e ci aiutano sulla prenotazione del biglietto Yulong.
4) Fornire servizi di lavanderia gratuita , aiutaci a pulire e piegare il legno per noi . Molto apprezzato.
5) Bevande illimitate gratuitamente disponibili da 8-4pm giornaliero .

UUtente ospiteThis is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The butler was exceptionally quick to respond, and everything we requested was delivered to our room within minutes. The receptionist 橙子 consistently checked where we were headed and whether transportation was needed, and even reminded us to wear a hat when the UV was strong. Truly thoughtful 👍
I wanted to buy two boxes of flower cakes to bring home, but the shop was quite far from the hotel and I didn’t want to travel that far just for them. Orange took the initiative to bring two boxes back for me from the city. That was incredibly heartwarming 🥹
Even after we checked out, the receptionist 三朵messaged us to make sure we arrived in Shanghai safely 🥹 All these little details show how much they genuinely care about every guest.
There was also a skinny gentleman (didn’t get his name) who kindly reminded us to bring extra clothes or a shawl before we headed to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Valley, as the weather could be colder up there.
Every night, the butler would check if we needed warm milk or hot chocolate before bed. These small, thoughtful gestures really show how sincere and attentive the staff are.
A big thank you to every staff member for the warm hospitality and attentive service that made our stay truly wonderful👏

UUtente ospiteInutile dire che i servizi dell'hotel sono eccellenti e la sua posizione con vista sulla città è fantastica. Il servizio è impeccabile. Diverse persone sono state incaricate di ritirare i miei bagagli alla reception, trasportandoli su per le scale e poi lungo la faticosa salita. A causa dei miei impegni, mi sono stati offerti tre giorni di deposito bagagli gratuito. Il quarto giorno, fuori orario, ha preso in spalla la mia valigia da 71 cm, ha camminato per 15 minuti attraverso gran parte della Città Vecchia e l'ha consegnata gratuitamente a una pensione dall'altra parte della Città Vecchia di Lijiang. Questo servizio è stato commovente.
La prossima volta che visiterò Lijiang, andrò sicuramente a trovare il signor Zhou per una chiacchierata a cuore aperto attorno al fuoco.

UUtente ospiteWe had an amazing stay at Pauline. Definitely a top choice to get away from the hustle and bustle of Lijiang. It’s located in Yuhu village that is quieter and smaller but the surrounding is super peaceful and chill. We loved the view from our room where we can see the courtyard as well as the snow mountain. Our room in Pauline is super beautiful and comfortable and we wished we stayed longer than two nights. The staff in Pauline are also very helpful and friendly to us, making sure that we know where to go and are well taken care of. Breakfast in the hotel is also very good, and it was served in their very beautiful and comfortable cafe area. The cats are also very cute. Highly recommend for people who wants to have a quiet getaway but still close enough to the tourist sites.

As Muslim travelers, we truly appreciated the convenient location—nestled in the charming, rustic old town yet just a short walk from the main road, making it easy to find halal meals without trekking far or uphill. The modern toilet with a bidet was a delightful surprise and added so much comfort to our stay.
The inn’s thoughtful design, impeccable cleanliness, and warm hospitality made our trip unforgettable. We can’t wait to return and would highly recommend Mu Xue Oriental Inn to anyone visiting Lijiang—whether for culture, comfort, or convenience, this place has it all!

TThushiniWe had the most wonderful stay at Banyan Tree Lijiang. The property is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the mountains right from the hotel grounds. The atmosphere is peaceful, luxurious, and truly unforgettable.
Our villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and comfortable, and special mention must go to our butler, Hellen, who made our stay extraordinary. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Hellen checked in with us every afternoon to see if we needed anything, helped us plan our activities, and ensured every detail was taken care of. Her exceptional service made our experience feel personalised and seamless. We are truly grateful for her kindness.
We were also taken to Tiger Leaping Gorge who helped us plan an incredible hike and was extremely knowledgable and conversational about the area.
Overall, Banyan Tree Lijiang exceeded all our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lijiang. We would love to return.

UUtente ospiteL'hotel è nuovo e moderno. Ben tenuto. La camera è piccola ma comunque confortevole. Non ci sono attaccapanni per i vestiti. Bisogna richiederlo.
Vicino alla porta nord della città vecchia. Ci vogliono 15-20 minuti a piedi. Ci sono molti ristoranti nelle vicinanze e minimarket.
