Hotel in zona AIC Church, Makongeni, Nairobi

I stayed at Hemak Suites for 2 nights, and overall the place & service is ok. The hotel building is in a very busy part of the city, which doesn’t seem too safe, and the surrounding area does get quite noisy, esp. at night. The reception is on the 4th floor and the restaurant is on the 7th floor of the building. The room I stayed in on the 5th floor was ok. It was clean, & the bed was comfortable enough. However, the bathroom is quite small, & it is open as there is no door. Once you enter the door to the room, the bathroom sink is to the right, then there’s the toilet & shower, but there is no door or shower curtain that separates it from the room. It’s probably ok if you’re solo in the room, but maybe not so much for two people. At night, I could hear loud music from the nearby bars in the area & on the 2nd night, I awoke in the middle of the night to the sound of loud music. But then, there was a power outage so the music stopped but then around 3am the circuit breaker in my room made a loud buzzing sound that had me worried. Needless to say, I couldn’t go back to sleep. The buzzing kept on all morning until the time I left, all the lights were flickering, and of course, the elevator didn’t work since there was no power. I got my stuff ready & left the room, and with little sleep, left the hotel at 6am to head for my Maasai Mara safari. I did notify the front desk about the loud, buzzing breaker in my room & told him that maybe they just need to switch them off with the power out, then check the other rooms. As for the restaurant, the breakfast was good, & they have a good selection of food for lunch & dinner. The staff here was also friendly, as they packed a lunch for me while I visited Nairobi National Park. I would’ve had a better time here if I had gotten some sleep the night before my long drive the next day for my safari, if it wasn’t for the loud, buzzing breaker in the room.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Even when I couldn't get accommodation on my arrrival, the staff organized for transfer to another sister hotel at the same price with no extra charges.

Prenotarò questo hotel ogni volta che visiterò Nairobi e l'hotel è molto sicuro per il vostro personale prezioso.C'è una sicurezza nella stanza, ma anche il vostro personale più grande come i laptop sono sicuro Grazie, Ann e altri che lavorano principalmente a notte. Non ci sono trulli per bagagli, che rendono molto difficile portare il bagaglio al vostro appartamento. I concierge sono molto utili e la sicurezza è anche gentile e utile. Il nostro appartamento era molto bello. Puli, luminosi e confortevoli. Le visione sono sorprendenti, dal balcone. Eravamo molto delusi perché la nostra principale ragione per scegliere Sky Nest era la loro struttura. La loro piscina è fuori servizio per più di una settimana e non abbiamo mai ricevuto informazioni solide su quando sarà riparato. Non potevamo nemmeno fare pieno uso della palestra. Le loro macchine da tavola non funzionano bene, sono scherzanti e pericolose. Il negozio di comodità sul pavimento è estremamente utile. Vendono quotidianamente basi di acqua, sapone, shampoo, condimenti, vini e spiriti e altro ancora. Il ristorante, Slate, è ok. Ci siamo divertiti con i nostri piatti. Il personale è molto professionale, cortese e amichevole, la gestione deve essere in primo piano, per assicurarsi che tutto sia in buona condizione di lavoro, e in questo senso è stato molto deludente.

Il buffet del colazione aveva una grande varietà di scelte e tutto ciò che aveva a disposizione era piacevole. Il personale era utile e cortese. Il processo di sicurezza, le porte di sicurezza e le aree di accesso alla carta sembravano solo un po 'più alto, ma ci sentivamo davvero sicuri. Abbiamo goduto una deliziosa cena di Natale a casa dell'hotel, una esperienza memorabile. La mia unica denuncia è che, sebbene avessi il condizionamento d’aria e la temperatura fissata per raffreddare la stanza, l’unità era in funzione durante il nostro soggiorno di due giorni e non ha mai raffreddato la stanza o raggiunto la temperatura scelta. Ho chiesto a una persona di manutenzione di venire a controllare entrambi questi problemi e nessuno è mai venuto.

Molto buon posto per stare al sicuro e confortevole. Vicino a qualche piazza, ma un amico mi ha detto di non andare fuori di notte. Buon colazione e molte scelte per cena. Il personale era molto bello.

Il giorno in cui sono arrivato, sembravano di essere stati a rischio di energia elettrica per la settimana scorsa, quindi gli ascensori, le porte e l'elettricità nelle stanze non funzionavano bene, sembrava essere stato risolto il giorno in cui sono partito. Ho prenotato per la vicinanza all'aeroporto e alla stazione ferroviaria. Offrevano un pick-up e un carico complimentari. Erano molto gentili da offrire un check-out tardivo fino a quando non sono andato all'aeroporto. Ha una grande palestra, una bella piscina e un buon colazione. Siate consapevoli che non c'è letteralmente niente intorno all'hotel - quindi non potete andare a fare una passeggiata o solo prendere qualcosa da mangiare.
