Hotel con vista sulle montagne a Xiamen

My stay at Lohkah Isle was magical. From the moment I booked, the team made me feel genuinely cared for. No detail was too big, no gesture was too small. Every request was attended to with such warmth, kindness, and incredible promptness. A special thank you to Isak, Leo, Yuki, and Harlan. You are the heart and soul of this beautiful hotel. Isak welcomed us personally at the pier when we arrived at Gulangyu, and to my surprise, he was also the one who escorted us all the way back to Xiamen at the end of our stay — taking the ferry with us and helping us with all our luggage. He prepared mosquito repellent and medicine before our tour, wet wipes before we depart, always on hand with umbrella for us to beat the heat. That level of care is rare and deeply touching. All the butlers were very sincere and passionate. We have no words. We feel truly blessed to meet all of them. The property itself was immaculate — serene, elegant, and as uniquely charming as a Lohkah hotel can be. Lohkah remains my favourite hotel brand in China, not because of the architecture alone, but because of the people who bring these beautiful spaces to life. I will never forget the sweetness of this team: preparing a lovely tiramisu cake for my birthday, picking us up from a tea store when we got lost on the island, and accompanying us to the most beautiful sunset spots in Gulangyu. They made us feel less like guests and more like dear friends visiting from afar. Isak, Yuki, Leo, and Harlan — thank you for making our stay so remarkable, lovely, and unforgettable. Ho scelto questo hotel per soggiornare perché la posizione e le camere sono belle sulle foto, non ci sono cattive recensioni. Anche io sono ossessionato con l'interno della moda, per questo la scelgo. Ma nel vero giardino non era buono, sembrava completamente abbandonato, non c’era accesso al mare dall’hotel, edilizia non sembrava buona dall’esterno. Ma all'interno di questo hotel tutto è nuovo e pulito. Il personale è molto gentile e utile. Ma il prezzo per il soggiorno è piuttosto alto, perché le ragioni sopra. Tuttavia, è stato bello per un soggiorno di notte.

It was an overall good experience. The hotel is an icon ”the Twin Towers” and is conveniently located in Siming, a stone's throw away from Shapowei, a cozy neighborhood filled with nice little shops and plenty of good coffee vendors. Although the hotel is a bit dated but the room still has its grandeur and spaciousness. The check-in counters are on 38/F and the staff are nice and courteous. Our check-in staff, Dora is definitely an exemplary of the high quality service I'd expect of a 5 star hotel. She was extremely professional and follows through with us to make sure we had a nice stay. She definitely made our stay very warm and memorable. We had a dinner at their ”Michelin” Western restaurant Coast, but the experience was not good. There were 3 tables at best, but the staff if any, were too busy looking at their phones. We had to wave many times for them to notice us. We ordered the fish, steak, and another seafood dish. The steak was overcooked and chewy, not what I'd expect from a ”Michelin” restaurant. The fish was barely luke-warm, and the other seafood dish was bland and uneventful. With the high price tag for the dishes, I would not say it's worth it in terms of taste nor in service. The breakfast buffet however was good in terms of variety of selection, as well as in the quality of their waiters. There is also a Lawson convenient store on the G/F of the hotel, and a small shopping mall next door. Their indoor swimming pool is nice and the view is excellent. Just remember to bring your cap as all swimmers require a swimming cap! We had a lovely stay at Conrad Xiamen and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next stay.

This is a very good hotel. It is right next to the shopping mall, so restaurants and coffee shops are everywhere. We really appreciated the friendly front desk staff getting us an upgraded room. It is spacious, cleaned, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we need. We love their long and cleaned pool. It’s perfect for lap swimmers. Definitely we will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

La posizione sono le iconiche torri gemelle. Questa famiglia è un'esperienza per noi. Siamo stati informati dal personale dello sportello di contattare il direttore di turno per portarci al nostro piano. Siamo contenti che sia molto reattivo alla nostra chiamata. Il centro commerciale, i tour operator e le vie del cibo sono raggiungibili a piedi. Questi servizi sono particolarmente interessanti quando non c'è una stazione della metropolitana nelle vicinanze. Per quanto riguarda i trasporti, possiamo facilmente trovare taxi nella zona e le tariffe sono convenienti. La vista notturna dalle nostre camere vale un milione. Trascorriamo un soggiorno piacevole 👍

Dopo un lungo volo dalla Grecia siamo arrivati tardi a sera in questo bellissimo hotel a Xiamen. Il personale del lobby era molto utile e informativo e ci ha accolti con un bel sorriso. La nostra stanza era al sesto piano, molto pulita e nuova. L’edificio aveva due ascensori rapidi. In ogni angolo c’era una macchina di vendita che soddisfava ogni necessità. C’era un robot per la consegna nelle stanze. Le signore di pulizia tenevano la nostra stanza fresca e temperata ogni giorno, pulite asciugamani e attrezzi. La doccia era sempre alla temperatura perfetta, il colazione serviva una qualità e una varietà di cibo estremamente buone e c'erano servizi di lavanderia e palestra gratuiti presso la struttura. Devo sottolineare l'ospitalità e la gentilezza del personale, che hanno fatto sentire il nostro soggiorno all'hotel come casa. Il quartiere intorno all'hotel è esattamente quello che un viaggiatore desidera. C'è un mercato tradizionale, molto pittoresco e bellissimo, negozi 24h, negozi convenienti, caffè, farmacie, bar e tutti i tipi di negozi, ma allo stesso tempo l'ambiente è tranquillo e rilassato per le vacanze perfette. Le alberi fanno tutto così bello. Non posso esprimere quanto siamo stati soddisfatti di scegliere l'hotel Xence per il nostro soggiorno a Xiamen. Spero davvero che ci ritroveremo qui in futuro.

Lovely hotel Le Meridien Xiamen is set in a serene forest environment, perfect for a quiet retreat. The ground floor rooms are ideal for easy accessibility. Our room w/3 guest beds, a balcony facing and provide a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by nature. We particularly enjoy daily delicious buffet breakfast and dinner, with a variety of options to cater to all taste buds. Centrally located for visits to Gulangyu Island (leave before 5 PM to avoid peak rush) and Riyuegu Hotsprings (all-day retreat till 10 PM). Taxis are affordable but ensure they run on the meter. Cash payment is accepted, but drivers may not have change as most use contactless payments like Alipay, which can auto-translate to English and other languages. The hotel's tranquil environment and delectable dining options make it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway for a mother + 2 daughters…

Title: Great location and view, but challenging for foreign travelers Review: This property is more of an Airbnb-style apartment rental than a traditional hotel. While the location and the view from the room are excellent, there are several points that foreign travelers should be aware of. Check-in: The front desk counter does not provide room numbers or guidance. You must contact the owner directly via the Trip.com app's call function. Note that the owner does not speak English. Room Guidance: I was guided to the room by two young men in casual clothes rather than hotel staff. They took photos of my passport and face for registration, but they seemed unfamiliar with the system and struggled for a while. Facilities: Hot water stopped in the middle of my shower; this might be due to the water heater settings or capacity. Also, the TV is only connected to a Xiaomi internet device, which requires a private account or additional payment to watch anything. Wi-Fi: I scanned the QR code in the room, but the AP for my room (1906) didn't exist. I eventually managed to connect to the signal for the neighboring room (1907). Amenities: Only disposable paper towels are provided. I recommend bringing your own towels if you prefer real ones. Privacy: On the day of checkout, cleaning staff entered my room while I was out for a walk—well before the actual checkout time. I found their cleaning cart left inside my room when I returned. Summary: It feels like a residential apartment converted into a rental service. It can be quite inconvenient for foreigners due to the unconventional service style. Stay here for the view and location, but be prepared for some DIY-style hurdles.

房間不錯，很乾凈，外面景色不錯睡覺也很安靜。出了門就是國際遊艇會，玩遊艇很方便，但是距離曾厝垵就比較遠了。設施設計有點不合理，一側無法充電，衞生間馬桶離牆特別近，實際另一側非常空。 酒店服務很不錯，很親切。
