Hotel sul mare a Xiamen

I love IHG hotels and would usually choose to stay with them around the world if possible. And choose to stay at intercontinental Xiamen( in a CBD area) even though the location is far from tourist area I didn’t mind traveling a bit but I don’t think I would choose to stay here again. As the hotel didn’t feel up to standard for ihg group . There was a lot of wear and tear on the wall and the washroom. The cleanness of the rooms was not up to standard I found hair and dust / particles in the washroom table. They cleaned it up right after telling front desk but received a call saying it was the marble cracked which was clearly excuse . After returning the little dust particles were still there. Bathtub was definitely not scrubbed down . Felt a layer of residue or something when touched . Lots of dirt or dust or wall chipping or whatever particle it was on the corner of washroom table. And dusts in the corners . The breakfast was very Mediocre for ihg . Even though there was a variety of selections the taste was not there. Cooked food look like it sat there for awhile. The noodle bar was good tho with choice satay or clear soup and the freshly cooked wonton was tasty. I didn’t like how some things weren’t filled up just because it was 15min to closing. I do like how they provide kids with sand bucket tools to play at the beach . Overall it was still a pretty pleasant stay but I would not choose this ihg branch next time .

Per un viaggio disgustoso, la scelta più fortunata è stare all'hotel Wan Sight! Dal momento in cui entra la porta, il senso di stranezza è curato immediatamente. Il viaggio è pieno di calore e dettagli, non come un alloggio fuori, più come tornare a una piccola casa che qualcuno ricorda. I dettagli dell'hotel sono davvero nascosti in ogni angolo: le camere sono morbide e le persone dormono per secondi, la guardia è pulita e pulita, e anche il bagno è intimamente messo in tovaglioli colorati e piccoli piante verdi; Lampada di retroscena della zona pubblica, il triangolo del muro, e la mappa di un'onda di tamburo pre-preparata sulla reception. Si calma ai piedi, e la lavagna ha curato il tè del viaggio immediatamente. Ogni volta che passa la reception, il negozio sorride e ricava il suo nome. Questo tipo di interazione calda tra persone e animali, persone e persone, rende l'intero hotel pieno di fuoco. La posizione dell'hotel è anche meravigliosa. A piedi, sono pochi minuti al porto di Tang Tang. Le attrazioni commerciali della strada Longhead e della carta sono particolarmente convenienti.Vive qui due notti, svegliato ogni giorno da sole, piante verdi e legno morbido, e anche nell'aria ha un sapore oscuro. Se si tratta di un altro bum, si deve scegliere l'hotel Wan Sightseeing per difenderlo non solo come un luogo di residenza, ma anche come un momento più caldo dell'isola, che rende la gente insegnabile.

這個酒店應該是個老牌五星了，服務特別到位熟練，印象很深刻。 感謝前台小哥哥（一個戴眼鏡的小哥哥，臉蛋有點點嬰兒肥，忘記問名字了）和前台林欣小姐姐的照顧，幫我升級房間提供早餐，早餐種類豐富，味道很棒。 性價比特別高，很多細節也很到位，非常推薦。

This is a duplicate of my review for dates from 6 to 8 June 2026, as I extended my stay for one night. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay here again. The location is excellent. It's right next to the metro, directly across the road from China City Mall, and within easy walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, the waterfront and the ferry wharf. It made exploring Xiamen incredibly easy. The staff were consistently helpful and efficient. They obtained information about the Xiamen-Kinmen ferry, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast restaurant staff deserve special mention as they were always friendly, welcoming and genuinely seemed pleased to see their guests each morning. The room itself was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was excellent and while I didn't use the bath, the shower was very good. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool, gym and lounge area, all of which added to the overall experience. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices, both Asian and Western, and a pleasant atmosphere. I only intended to stay a short time, but enjoyed both the hotel and Xiamen enough that I extended my stay by an extra night. From my room I had good views, including Zheng Chenggong's statue on Gulangyu Island and Xiamen's Twin Towers in the distance. This hotel certainly helped make my stay in Xiamen an enjoyable one. I left with very positive memories and would gladly stay here again.

I stayed here for 3 nights with my parents, and it was a wonderful, friendly, and thoughtful experience. We arrived late, but Leo at the front desk (shout-out) gave us a warm welcome and was extremely helpful. He thoughtfully arranged adjoining rooms for us. While the hotel may not be brand new, the facilities are great value for money, and the rooms are spotless. More importantly, the warm service from the staff really sets this place apart. Another shout-out to the housekeeping lady—she noticed I drink a lot of water (at least 6 bottles a day!) and left extra bottles for me when cleaning the room. That small gesture meant so much! The breakfast buffet offered a huge variety of options, and the dining area was spacious. The location is also fantastic—just a few minutes' walk from the metro, making it super easy to call a cab and visit all the main sights. From the porter to the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant team, everyone was fantastic. It was an amazing stay overall!

Grande servizio che va tutto il tempo fuori! Buffet colazione eccellente con grande varietà. Grande posizione come vicino alla spiaggia. Solo l'influenza è che l'hotel WiFi non sembra collegare al mio hp o iPad, quindi ho dovuto contare sul mio piano di dati personali.

”Vivo in questo hotel, il mio piano di perdita di peso dichiara completamente fallito!La parte sinistra è la strada Zhongshan, la parte sinistra del deserto, il patate, la parte destra e cinque rulli.La posizione dell'hotel è buona per andare fuori dal negozio, e la strada può mangiare la porta!La stanza è grande, i cinque sono sporchi, Lavatrice profumata mi ha fatto portare il mio pacchetto.L'unica domanda e'che il peso potrebbe essere chiamato di nuovo, ma questa onda di ”peccato” vale la pena!

Okay, but much better options exist if you have the money and book in advance. First of all, its a separate class of hotel situated within the very same Marriot (which is higher end), so consider this a class below the actual Marriot. The exit is separate, and leads mostly to nowhere, and you will most likely enter the real Marriot part of the building at first, but thankfully staff knows this is a common mistake and leads you through a small hallway of about 200m to the other reception where you will be greeted by just as professional staff. They don't include any toiletries but will deliver them swiftly to the room door if you need any, I guess its ecological, in their mind, but practically..ultimately pointless and saves no one's time and energy. The room itself is a bit of a step down from regular 4* chain hotels - the size, the leather on the furniture is torn and worn a bit, and it shows its age and class. There are similarly priced competitors within the same 1-2km range, who do a much better job, plus better view, for a few bucks more. It should be priced a bit lower in order to be a good deal and vibe for the money. Ultimately an okay hotel, no one will be disappointed, but the value to me just isn't there, and the real Marriot is in the same building, but you are getting the cheaper version of it, watered down.
