Hotel con vista sulle montagne a Lijiang

Location is near Shuhe and Baisha Ancient town, as well as a clear view of the Jade dragon mountain on a clear day. Room also came with fruits and tea which was nice. There is also free shuttle service to the nearby ancient town though I did not utilise it. However, I must say the room amenities and layout is average and not amazing compared to some other homestay I experienced at Lijiang Ancient town and in Dali as well. Additionally I experienced some hiccups during my stay. As I had to leave early at 6.30am in the morning, the hot water for shower was not working that early in the morning probably due to the location and not many people using the hot water which causes a huge delay in receiving hot water from their water taps. Do take note of this if you are planning to take a shower early in the morning.

Al momento del check-out, ho persino ricevuto delle calamite da frigo di Sanjin e una foto Polaroid, un gesto incredibilmente premuroso. La prima impressione è stata fantastica. Come parte del pacchetto, YUNDU ha organizzato il trasferimento dall'aeroporto di Lijiang a bordo di un veicolo elettrico pulito e confortevole. La disposizione del bagno era eccellente per l'inverno, con WC e doccia separati. Il WC elettronico è dotato di riscaldamento e scarico automatico, e la zona doccia include aria calda dall'alto. Anche l'illuminazione dello specchio è ottima per il trucco. C'erano alcune piccole pecche nella disposizione. Non c'è il riscaldamento a pavimento e le pantofole erano posizionate lontano dall'ingresso. Il bollitore elettrico era posizionato su un mobiletto senza una presa di corrente nelle vicinanze. Il servizio era uno dei punti di forza di YUNDU. Il personale mi ha aiutato con i bagagli, mi ha fornito visite guidate delle camere e mi ha fatto il check-in regolarmente tramite WeChat. Quando ho accennato a un possibile disagio dovuto all'altitudine, mi hanno persino regalato una bombola di ossigeno. Il capo è stato gentile e mi ha aiutato volentieri a scattare foto con Sanjin. L'unica piccola lacuna è stata il servizio di maggiordomo. Ho scoperto chi fosse il mio maggiordomo solo l'ultima sera, e uno dei servizi inclusi era una visita con accompagnatore all'antica città di Baisha, che non è mai avvenuta: né io né il personale ce ne siamo ricordati finché non ho recensito il mio pacchetto su Trip.com. Detto questo, il mio maggiordomo è stato estremamente efficiente nell'organizzare il trasporto per il lago Lugu, con un coordinamento impeccabile e prezzi ragionevoli. L'intera struttura è arredata con gusto, accogliente e invitante. Il camino nella hall è un punto forte, perfetto per le serate invernali. Durante le mie prime due notti, ci sono state delle interruzioni di corrente. Anche se questo ha ritardato un po' il mio lavoro, la stanza è rimasta calda. Il lato positivo è stato l'assenza di inquinamento luminoso e la possibilità di ammirare un cielo stellato, che è diventato uno dei miei momenti preferiti del soggiorno. Consiglio vivamente YUNDU a chiunque cerchi una vista meravigliosa, un design curato, un servizio cordiale e un soggiorno confortevole ma conveniente a Lijiang. Se amate Lijiang, venite a Baisha. Se amate Baisha, venite a YUNDU.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Most Memorable Stay of My First Trip to China I did a lot of research before choosing this guesthouse in Lijiang. Then I saw a photo of Aobai and somehow felt a calling 😂. I'm so glad I booked it because this turned out to be the most memorable stay of my entire trip. From the moment we arrived, Ah Zhi and Xiaofei came to pick us up from the drop-off point and helped with our large and heavy luggage. We were travelling with children and walking slowly, but Xiaofei patiently walked with us while Ah Zhi pulled the luggage trolley all the way. My first impression was that Ah Zhi and Xiaofei looked quite serious and intimidating 😂, but after getting to know them, I discovered they are some of the kindest and most helpful people I met during my trip. The guesthouse is tucked away among the shops, making it peaceful, quiet, and cozy. We were welcomed by beautiful lady boss Wang Hui with high-quality Pu'er tea and flower pastries. The hospitality started immediately, and the tea never seemed to stop flowing. Xiaofei, who constantly made sure I never went thirsty. Every time he saw me, he would offer me tea or stop by for a chat. Although my Mandarin is limited, communication was never a problem. We used Google Translate whenever needed and even had a few of our famous ”fresh air sessions” together 😂. Before long, it became an inside joke whenever Ah Zhi or Xiaofei saw me. Of course, I cannot forget Aobai, the true star of the guesthouse! The owners were always happy to let Aobai out whenever my children wanted to see or play with him. After one play session, Xiaofei even noticed my coat was covered in Aobai's fur and handed me a lint remover. Such a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast was one of the most unique experiences. All guests sit together at one long dining table, creating a warm and homely atmosphere. As a Muslim, I couldn't eat the noodles, but that was not a problem. I enjoyed steamed sweet potatoes, corn, and eggs, while the staff kindly prepared hot water for the cup noodles I brought for my children and even provided milk drinks. Everyone was respectful of my dietary restrictions. There is also a free-flow coffee machine in the lobby using freshly ground coffee beans. Thank you, Ah Zhi, for making fresh coffee for me. When I requested milk for my coffee, Ah Zhi and Xiaofei happily helped. These little gestures made me feel so welcome. It rained throughout our stay, but Xiaofei and Ah Zhi constantly reminded us to take umbrellas whenever we went out. Even when they were having dinner, they would come out to assist us, greet us when we returned, or see us off when we left. A special thank you to Wang Hui, Ah Zhi, and Xiaofei. Their warmth, kindness, and hospitality made us feel completely at home. On checkout day, our train was very early, and Ah Zhi kindly sent us off with flower pastries and milk drinks for the journey. Xiaofei also recommended a halal restaurant nearby, and the food was exceptionally delicious. I would also like to thank the other staff members whose names I unfortunately did not get. Every single person we met was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely caring. I already miss Aobai and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for making my first trip to China such a memorable one. Una vista mozzafiato e un'ospitalità ancora migliore La vista dalla mia camera al quarto piano è stata il vero punto forte: uno spettacolare panorama senza ostacoli del Monte innevato del Drago di Giada. Potrete godervi questo incredibile spettacolo direttamente dalla vostra camera, rendendo superfluo frequentare costosi caffè! Per una vista ancora migliore, la struttura offre posti a sedere sul balcone al terzo piano. Ciò che distingue davvero questo posto, tuttavia, è il servizio caloroso e familiare. Gli operatori sono incredibilmente disponibili e attenti. Mi hanno portato i bagagli fino al punto di ritiro auto e ritorno con soli 5 minuti di preavviso. Siamo stati accolti con un delizioso rituale a base di tè Pu'er locale e biscotti ai fiori. Mi hanno persino ricordato quando era ora di prendere il treno ad alta velocità! Siamo rimasti a Stone Lodge per 3 notti a metà dicembre. Parliamo di cose buone prima. 1.Le camere di Snow Mountain View possono vedere il sole Golden Mountain dal letto. 2. La posizione è buona per andare a montagna di neve. Ci vorranno circa 20 minuti per raggiungere il centro visitatore della montagna di neve. 3. Il servizio è molto buono. Puoi chiedere qualsiasi cosa e forniranno ad esempio un involucro di bolle per imballare i nostri negozi fragili. Ci sono anche servizi di lavanderia gratuito. 4. Bene per coloro che amano le attività incluse nel pacchetto di stanza.Abbiamo fatto la visita a casa Naxi, cavalcare e arte e artigianato dimorano e godevano molto. Le pareti del bagno e dei cubi da doccia sono di vetro congelato e sono accettabili per me e per le mie figlie, tutte le signore. 2. Il villaggio è molto piccolo. Non molto da vedere. Abbiamo andato a un caffè popolare su Internet che può prendere foto sul tetto con la montagna di neve in fondo. Le bevande sono buone, ma la pasta non è bello. Forse è per questo che questo ristorante non è nell'elenco raccomandato dell'hotel. Non abbiamo esplorato il villaggio molto, ma da quello che vedo, è solo una strada corta. 3.Chiedi una camera di terzo piano.Ha un tetto celeste sopra il letto e vediamo stelle quando speniamo tutte le luci nella stanza. In generale, non ci dispiacevamo della nostra decisione di rimanere qui nel Stone Lodge, ma se le attività non fossero state incluse nel pacchetto, non le avremmo mai sperimentate.

Ambiente: La posizione della locanda è impeccabile, a metà strada tra Lion Rock e il Monte Leone. La vista è mozzafiato, con le montagne in lontananza e l'antica città di notte. Servizio: Il nostro gruppo, un mix di giovani e anziani, aveva quattro valigie da 24 pollici e diversi bagagli a mano. La locanda ha organizzato con cura una navetta per venirci a prendere alla stazione. Diversi ragazzi e una ragazza, la signora Su, ci aspettavano al punto di consegna in anticipo per aiutarci con i bagagli. La padrona di casa è stata molto disponibile nell'organizzare il nostro itinerario, liberandoci da ogni preoccupazione. Ci ha anche consigliato ristoranti e attrazioni nelle vicinanze, e abbiamo subito prolungato il nostro soggiorno. È stato uno spreco totale! Altamente consigliato!!!

Cleanliness: room was slightly dusty. Spiders and insects in the room, but expected because it has many oriental decorations that require constant cleaning to prevent dust accummulation. Location: convenient, it’s of walking distance to the north gate, easy to stroll around to different parts of the ancient town. Service: I have never given a bad review for the service attitude of any accomodations which I’ve stayed at in China, but I honestly think that the service here is mediocre and more reactive than proactive. They fulfil the basics of bringing your luggage up to your room, giving directions to the laundry and breakfast areas and arranging for pick up from the station to the hotel for a stay of at least three consecutive nights. I cannot speak for all the service staff, but the service staff that mainly tended to me during the stay definitely needs to be improved. He was helpful when I needed help for the laundry setting. However, when I needed help with booking tickets to snow mountain (I’m a foreigner and do not have a local number), it was a rather frustrating experience. He shared that the booking of tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain can be done 3-4 days in advance, and he could help me when I arrive at the accommodations. When I arrived, it was 4 days in advance but he was rather nonchalent and did not manage to help me secure tickets for my intended date of visit and had to eventually rely on the tour group to help change dates. The night before the tour visit, I had to reach out on wechat to ask about when and where the meeting point is for the tour. Even after the tour, I even had to ask several times to pay for the tour tickets as he had helped me to secure the ticket to the glacier park cablecar eventually. I had already shared that I could not transfer money on wechat and could only do via scanning his wechat/alipay qr code or vice versa. I feel that given that you guys are located in Lijiang and located near to Jade Snow Mountain, you should have encountered other customers who need help with the booking and this shouldn’t have been such a stressful tour booking experience. Amenities: they have two all-in-1 washing machine and drying amenities which was rather helpful. In the original room which i had booked, the air con leaked at around 10pm+. I texted the service staff on wechat and another staff came 5-10minutes later to check. This staff said it’s normal for the air con to leak at times especially if it’s blocked. After checking, he offered to change rooms for me. He helped me to move my luggage to the new room. There was no form of apology by any of the staff on the day itself when the incident happened. It was only on the next day when I requested for check-out transportation services to the railway station for the following day, where the staff who mainly tended to be apologised for the aircon leakage and offered complimentary transport services to the railway station. I’ve stayed in many accomodations in Yunnan but this was the most disappointing stay thus far and I will definitely not be back again.

Before we even arrived, the team had already contacted us and seamlessly arranged our airport transfer and pickup to the accommodation, which immediately set the tone for an exceptional stay. Accommodation: The accommodation itself exceeds a 5-star hotel standard. From the moment you enter the room, it is clear that every element has been carefully considered. The design, attention to detail, and overall comfort reflect the work of a top-tier designer. As designers ourselves, we truly appreciated the thoughtful colour schemes, lighting choices, and smart conveniences throughout the space. Features such as the fully automatic toilet, comfortable shower, and stylish humidifier added to the sense of luxury and refinement. It is this meticulous attention to detail that truly sets this accommodation apart from others. Location: Located in Yuhu Village, a charming Naxi village, the setting is both authentic and peaceful. The village atmosphere, friendly locals, and lovely coffee shops and bakeries make it a joy to explore. A particular highlight is the close-up view of Yulong Snow Mountain, which adds a breathtaking natural backdrop to the entire experience. Customer Service & Staff: The customer service was outstanding. We received thoughtful, personalised tips and guidance to make our stay in Lijiang as enjoyable as possible—far from generic recommendations, the suggestions were clearly tailored to our personal interests and needs. The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and generous, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. It is evident that they love what they do, and that passion translates into an atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. We were deeply touched by the manager’s generosity and thoughtful parting gifts. This was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。 2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。 3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。 4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。 5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。 6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排） 尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

This was truly one of the most wonderful and memorable homestay experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, refined, and thoughtfully arranged. The entire stay was exceptionally comfortable, and every detail made us feel well taken care of. The room was absolutely beautiful: spacious, luxurious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. It was designed with great attention to detail, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere. One of the highlights was being able to enjoy a stunning view of Yulong Snow Mountain directly from the room, which made the stay feel even more special and unforgettable. The amenities were also excellent, especially the Le Labo toiletries, which added a lovely touch of luxury. The highlight of our stay was definitely the exceptional service from our butler, 小杨. He was incredibly attentive, warm, thoughtful, and professional throughout the entire stay. From the smallest details to every request we had, he handled everything with patience, efficiency, and genuine care. What impressed us most was not only his responsiveness, but also his sincerity always made us feel welcomed, remembered, and truly looked after. 小杨 went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. His service was never just formal or routine; it felt personal, heartfelt, and full of warmth. He anticipated our needs, checked in on us appropriately, and made every arrangement feel effortless. Because of him, the stay felt less like a hotel visit and more like being warmly hosted by someone who truly cared. He made us feel completely at home, and his outstanding service left a very deep impression on us. The food and drinks were also impressive. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The afternoon tea was generous, with a wide variety of food, and the drinks were very enjoyable as well. Every part of the dining experience felt carefully curated. Overall, this homestay exceeded our expectations in every way. With its beautiful rooms, breathtaking views, excellent amenities, delicious food, and truly outstanding service from 小杨, this was a perfect stay.
