"Greatly enjoyed our stay! After reaching Lijiang, we went for a traditional local costume photoshoot and only reached 古镇 after 8pm. The hotel helped arrange a last minute luggage pickup and even upgraded our room for free during check in. Room amenities are practical (lots of hangers, great quality toothbrush etc), and clean. There is also an elaborate design chinese courtyard providing good ambience. The following day, we decided to hike the Snow mountain 玉龙雪山 and had to leave early before the usual breakfast timing. Again, the hotel provided last minute bread, milk and flower biscuits as alternative. Since the hotel is in the middle of the 古镇 (old town) you can easily head out to explore the area (shops, food, market). If you are reading the reviews - Yes, staff are kind enough to bring your luggages in too."

La disposizione della camera è ottima, soprattutto la tipologia che abbiamo prenotato, perfetta per le coppie. La vasca da bagno è enorme e immergersi ammirando il panorama notturno è davvero romantico. Il proprietario è accogliente e il servizio è molto attento. Consiglio questo posto!"

RRenee C.Ho trascorso un soggiorno davvero memorabile allo YUNDU e lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un posto confortevole, accogliente e arredato con gusto a Lijiang. Nel complesso, l'esperienza è stata molto positiva, con un servizio eccellente, un design accogliente e tanti dettagli curati. C'erano alcuni piccoli aspetti da migliorare, ma non hanno influito negativamente sul mio soggiorno. La colazione era eccellente e sinceramente migliore di molti pasti che ho consumato fuori. La zia locale che prepara la colazione è incredibilmente cordiale e amichevole. Il mixian è molto amichevole con gli stranieri, leggero, confortante e non unto o salato come molti ristoranti all'aperto. Ho richiesto verdure extra e uova sode in più, e lei è stata più che felice di accontentarmi. Questa attenzione mi ha davvero colpito. Il cane samoiedo dello YUNDU, Sanjin (三斤), è davvero il cuore e la mascotte dell'hotel. È estremamente amichevole e intelligente. Il personale diceva cose come ”去拍照，去跟姐姐玩” e Sanjin si avvicinava immediatamente. Durante il mio tè pomeridiano, si è avvicinato silenziosamente e si è seduto accanto a me, un momento davvero toccante. Al momento del check-out, ho persino ricevuto delle calamite da frigo di Sanjin e una foto Polaroid, un gesto incredibilmente premuroso. La prima impressione è stata fantastica. Come parte del pacchetto, YUNDU ha organizzato il trasferimento dall'aeroporto di Lijiang a bordo di un veicolo elettrico pulito e confortevole. L'autista è stato cordiale, loquace e disponibile, e il viaggio verso l'hotel è stato fluido e rilassante. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dall'upgrade gratuito della camera. La camera di categoria superiore era spaziosa, perfetta per lo stretching mattutino, e includeva una vasca da bagno grande e pulitissima. Sono state fornite delle palline da bagno e una maschera in tessuto, un tocco invernale davvero delizioso. Il letto era molto comodo. I cuscini erano un po' morbidi per i miei gusti, ma ce n'erano di più rigidi disponibili, e stratificarli era perfetto. La coperta era spessa, morbida e calda, e anche durante le interruzioni di corrente sono rimasto a mio agio. I servizi erano ben pensati, tra cui un asciugacapelli Laifen con un potente flusso d'aria, una grande TV ad alta definizione di fronte al letto con accesso VIP allo streaming e un grande umidificatore adatto all'uso notturno. La disposizione del bagno era eccellente per l'inverno, con WC e doccia separati. Il WC elettronico è dotato di riscaldamento e scarico automatico, e la zona doccia include aria calda dall'alto. Anche l'illuminazione dello specchio è ottima per il trucco. C'erano alcune piccole pecche nella disposizione. Non c'è il riscaldamento a pavimento e le pantofole erano posizionate lontano dall'ingresso. Il bollitore elettrico era posizionato su un mobiletto senza una presa di corrente nelle vicinanze. Il servizio era uno dei punti di forza di YUNDU. Il personale mi ha aiutato con i bagagli, mi ha fornito visite guidate delle camere e mi ha fatto il check-in regolarmente tramite WeChat. Quando ho accennato a un possibile disagio dovuto all'altitudine, mi hanno persino regalato una bombola di ossigeno. Il capo è stato gentile e mi ha aiutato volentieri a scattare foto con Sanjin. L'unica piccola lacuna è stata il servizio di maggiordomo. Ho scoperto chi fosse il mio maggiordomo solo l'ultima sera, e uno dei servizi inclusi era una visita con accompagnatore all'antica città di Baisha, che non è mai avvenuta: né io né il personale ce ne siamo ricordati finché non ho recensito il mio pacchetto su Trip.com. Detto questo, il mio maggiordomo è stato estremamente efficiente nell'organizzare il trasporto per il lago Lugu, con un coordinamento impeccabile e prezzi ragionevoli. L'intera struttura è arredata con gusto, accogliente e invitante. Il camino nella hall è un punto forte, perfetto per le serate invernali. Durante le mie prime due notti, ci sono state delle interruzioni di corrente. Anche se questo ha ritardato un po' il mio lavoro, la stanza è rimasta calda. Il lato positivo è stato l'assenza di inquinamento luminoso e la possibilità di ammirare un cielo stellato, che è diventato uno dei miei momenti preferiti del soggiorno. Consiglio vivamente YUNDU a chiunque cerchi una vista meravigliosa, un design curato, un servizio cordiale e un soggiorno confortevole ma conveniente a Lijiang. Se amate Lijiang, venite a Baisha. Se amate Baisha, venite a YUNDU.

UUtente ospiteUna vista mozzafiato e un'ospitalità ancora migliore La vista dalla mia camera al quarto piano è stata il vero punto forte: uno spettacolare panorama senza ostacoli del Monte innevato del Drago di Giada. Potrete godervi questo incredibile spettacolo direttamente dalla vostra camera, rendendo superfluo frequentare costosi caffè! Per una vista ancora migliore, la struttura offre posti a sedere sul balcone al terzo piano. Ciò che distingue davvero questo posto, tuttavia, è il servizio caloroso e familiare. Gli operatori sono incredibilmente disponibili e attenti. Mi hanno portato i bagagli fino al punto di ritiro auto e ritorno con soli 5 minuti di preavviso. Siamo stati accolti con un delizioso rituale a base di tè Pu'er locale e biscotti ai fiori. Mi hanno persino ricordato quando era ora di prendere il treno ad alta velocità! La posizione è molto comoda per esplorare l'antica città di Lijiang. La colazione offriva opzioni accoglienti e locali come porridge o noodles. Una nota importante: l'accesso alla struttura avviene tramite scale, che potrebbero rappresentare una difficoltà per i viaggiatori con mobilità ridotta o per gli accompagnatori anziani. UUtente ospiteThis is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The butler was exceptionally quick to respond, and everything we requested was delivered to our room within minutes. The receptionist 橙子 consistently checked where we were headed and whether transportation was needed, and even reminded us to wear a hat when the UV was strong. Truly thoughtful 👍 I wanted to buy two boxes of flower cakes to bring home, but the shop was quite far from the hotel and I didn’t want to travel that far just for them. Orange took the initiative to bring two boxes back for me from the city. That was incredibly heartwarming 🥹 Even after we checked out, the receptionist 三朵messaged us to make sure we arrived in Shanghai safely 🥹 All these little details show how much they genuinely care about every guest. There was also a skinny gentleman (didn’t get his name) who kindly reminded us to bring extra clothes or a shawl before we headed to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Valley, as the weather could be colder up there. Every night, the butler would check if we needed warm milk or hot chocolate before bed. These small, thoughtful gestures really show how sincere and attentive the staff are. A big thank you to every staff member for the warm hospitality and attentive service that made our stay truly wonderful👏

UUtente ospiteInutile dire che i servizi dell'hotel sono eccellenti e la sua posizione con vista sulla città è fantastica. Il servizio è impeccabile. Diverse persone sono state incaricate di ritirare i miei bagagli alla reception, trasportandoli su per le scale e poi lungo la faticosa salita. A causa dei miei impegni, mi sono stati offerti tre giorni di deposito bagagli gratuito. Il quarto giorno, fuori orario, ha preso in spalla la mia valigia da 71 cm, ha camminato per 15 minuti attraverso gran parte della Città Vecchia e l'ha consegnata gratuitamente a una pensione dall'altra parte della Città Vecchia di Lijiang. Questo servizio è stato commovente. La prossima volta che visiterò Lijiang, andrò sicuramente a trovare il signor Zhou per una chiacchierata a cuore aperto attorno al fuoco.

SSheryl 宜芬Cleanliness: room was slightly dusty. Spiders and insects in the room, but expected because it has many oriental decorations that require constant cleaning to prevent dust accummulation. Location: convenient, it’s of walking distance to the north gate, easy to stroll around to different parts of the ancient town. Service: I have never given a bad review for the service attitude of any accomodations which I’ve stayed at in China, but I honestly think that the service here is mediocre and more reactive than proactive. They fulfil the basics of bringing your luggage up to your room, giving directions to the laundry and breakfast areas and arranging for pick up from the station to the hotel for a stay of at least three consecutive nights. I cannot speak for all the service staff, but the service staff that mainly tended to me during the stay definitely needs to be improved. He was helpful when I needed help for the laundry setting. However, when I needed help with booking tickets to snow mountain (I’m a foreigner and do not have a local number), it was a rather frustrating experience. He shared that the booking of tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain can be done 3-4 days in advance, and he could help me when I arrive at the accommodations. When I arrived, it was 4 days in advance but he was rather nonchalent and did not manage to help me secure tickets for my intended date of visit and had to eventually rely on the tour group to help change dates. The night before the tour visit, I had to reach out on wechat to ask about when and where the meeting point is for the tour. Even after the tour, I even had to ask several times to pay for the tour tickets as he had helped me to secure the ticket to the glacier park cablecar eventually. I had already shared that I could not transfer money on wechat and could only do via scanning his wechat/alipay qr code or vice versa. I feel that given that you guys are located in Lijiang and located near to Jade Snow Mountain, you should have encountered other customers who need help with the booking and this shouldn’t have been such a stressful tour booking experience. Amenities: they have two all-in-1 washing machine and drying amenities which was rather helpful. In the original room which i had booked, the air con leaked at around 10pm+. I texted the service staff on wechat and another staff came 5-10minutes later to check. This staff said it’s normal for the air con to leak at times especially if it’s blocked. After checking, he offered to change rooms for me. He helped me to move my luggage to the new room. There was no form of apology by any of the staff on the day itself when the incident happened. It was only on the next day when I requested for check-out transportation services to the railway station for the following day, where the staff who mainly tended to be apologised for the aircon leakage and offered complimentary transport services to the railway station. I’ve stayed in many accomodations in Yunnan but this was the most disappointing stay thus far and I will definitely not be back again.

Accommodation: The accommodation itself exceeds a 5-star hotel standard. From the moment you enter the room, it is clear that every element has been carefully considered. The design, attention to detail, and overall comfort reflect the work of a top-tier designer. As designers ourselves, we truly appreciated the thoughtful colour schemes, lighting choices, and smart conveniences throughout the space. Features such as the fully automatic toilet, comfortable shower, and stylish humidifier added to the sense of luxury and refinement. It is this meticulous attention to detail that truly sets this accommodation apart from others. Location: Located in Yuhu Village, a charming Naxi village, the setting is both authentic and peaceful. The village atmosphere, friendly locals, and lovely coffee shops and bakeries make it a joy to explore. A particular highlight is the close-up view of Yulong Snow Mountain, which adds a breathtaking natural backdrop to the entire experience. Customer Service & Staff: The customer service was outstanding. We received thoughtful, personalised tips and guidance to make our stay in Lijiang as enjoyable as possible—far from generic recommendations, the suggestions were clearly tailored to our personal interests and needs. The staff are exceptionally warm, friendly, and generous, and they genuinely make you feel welcome. It is evident that they love what they do, and that passion translates into an atmosphere where guests truly feel valued. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. We were deeply touched by the manager’s generosity and thoughtful parting gifts. UUtente ospiteThis was my second stay at a Banyan Tree property, and once again, it turned out to be a truly memorable and pleasant experience. Frank, our personal concierge, was exceptionally responsive and attentive throughout our stay. He was always quick to assist with our requests and even replied to messages after regular working hours. There was a minor housekeeping incident during our stay, but Frank handled the service recovery professionally and resolved the matter promptly. The thoughtful gesture of providing gifts and a cake was greatly appreciated, and my child absolutely loved the surprise. From start to finish, we felt genuinely well taken care of. Frank’s service was highly commendable, and he is definitely a valuable asset to the Banyan Tree Group. Our dinner experience at Baiyun was also superb. The ambience was wonderful, and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot session, which became one of the most memorable highlights of our trip. Our photographer was incredibly professional and patient, guiding us throughout the session and capturing many beautiful photos. In the end, I decided to purchase a photo package because the photos turned out so well and were truly worth it. The staff there were also warm, friendly, efficient, and highly responsive. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved: 1. The menu and operating schedule for Mingyue were somewhat confusing. We had planned to have dinner there one evening, only to realize that Chinese cuisine was not served on certain days and during certain hours, which required us to make alternative arrangements. 2. The soundproofing in the room could be improved, as we were able to hear our neighboring guests quite clearly even when they were speaking at normal volume. 3. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent. Although we adjusted it to a comfortable level, the temperature would occasionally drop suddenly and become very cold. 4. Staff could perhaps be slightly more observant and proactive. On our first day, it was raining when we arrived at the room via buggy. There was no sheltered area where we alighted, so we had to stand briefly in the rain while moving our luggage. 5. The fruit platter in the room could be fresher. The apples and oranges did not seem as fresh compared to what we experienced at other hotels in Dali and Kunming. 6. Breakfast options could be expanded further. I was also hoping to find more fresh and exotic detox juices, especially ones prepared on the spot. (Similar to Bintan Banyan Tree) Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was still excellent. The scenery and views within the resort were absolutely stunning, and we especially enjoyed being able to feed the ducks and fishes. It created a very relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for the family. Mingyue 的菜单及营业安排稍微有些混乱。我们原本计划某晚在那里用餐，后来才发现中餐只在特定日期和时段供应，导致我们需要临时另作安排。 2. 房间的隔音效果可以再加强一些，因为即使隔壁房客只是正常音量交谈，我们也能听得相当清楚。 3. 淋浴的水温不太稳定。虽然我们已经调到舒适温度，但水温偶尔还是会突然下降，变得非常冷。 4. 员工或许可以更主动及细心一些。我们第一天抵达房间时正好下雨，而下车的位置并没有遮雨处，因此我们在搬运行李时需要短暂淋雨。 5. 房内水果盘的新鲜度可以再提升。苹果和橙子的状态，相较于我们之前在大理及昆明入住的其他酒店，感觉没有那么新鲜。 6. 早餐选择方面可以再更加丰富一些。我也特别期待能有更多现做的新鲜排毒果汁或特色果汁。（类似Banyan Tree Bintan的安排） 尽管存在这些小问题，但整体入住体验依然非常优秀。度假村内的景色和环境真的非常漂亮，我们尤其喜欢可以喂鸭子和鱼儿的体验，让整个氛围变得格外轻松惬意，也非常适合家庭度假。未来有机会的话，我们一定还会想再次回来入住。

BBreadpotatoesfriesA stunning stay! The room I picked was the 180+180 room and the view was just absolutely stunning. I recommend staying more than a day to just enjoy the views of the mountain. I was hosted by Hongliang and team who were so very attentive. They gave quick recommendations on what to eat in the vicinity and helped arranged all the activities they offered. The photography experience was especially fun and the photographer gave clear guidance and there was a good selection of outfits for ladies (just one for males). The session included makeup and hairdo as well, one per room, top up if more guests want to participate. I wish I had remembered there was a free shoot then I would have saved on the one done in the ancient city. These photos turned out really nice and you can pay a fee for each additional photo you like. Coord directly with the photog 2 days before your stay. The tea pressing activity was at a nearby tea dealer and the staff were very well versed in all types of tea, if you are a connoisseur you would enjoy it. All in all an amazing stay that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a mountain retreat.

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
