This was truly one of the best 民宿 experiences I have ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Two gentlemen welcomed us warmly with smiles and immediately helped us carry our luggage, which included two large suitcases and two small suitcases, all the way up to Level 3. We were also given a complimentary room upgrade because a larger room was available, which was such a thoughtful gesture. After checking in, they patiently guided us through the room facilities and made sure we knew how everything worked. On the first day of our stay, they also prepared a beautiful fruit platter and tea for us, which made us feel so welcomed and well taken care of. Their service hours are from 8am to midnight, but what impressed us most was how much they went beyond that. Whenever available, they also had a driver who could send us to the nearby Lijiang Old Town, making our trip even more convenient and worry-free. The level of care and help they provided is honestly beyond words. They made our entire stay comfortable, smooth, and stress-free. Together with the beautiful scenic views, their outstanding service made us fall in love with Lijiang even more and truly made us want to visit again. On our last day, we had to check out at 7am, which was outside their usual working hours. Even so, the owner personally stayed at the counter and set his own alarm just to help us carry our luggage down. He did not have to do this, but he still went out of his way to assist us. He also helped arrange transport to take us to Lijiang Train Station, which made our departure so easy and comfortable. The service at this hotel is genuinely excellent. I almost have no words to describe how grateful we are for such a wonderful stay. This is the first time I am putting so much effort into writing such a long review for a hotel, and that says a lot about how amazing the experience was. If you are visiting Lijiang, I highly, highly recommend this 民宿. The service, hospitality, comfort, and overall experience are truly top-notch. Il servizio è stato impeccabile dal momento in cui conferma la prenotazione fino a quando non parte. Assicurano che tutte le domande e richieste siano trattate proativamente. La loro camera è esattamente come è con grandi vibrazioni architettoniche locali, ma molto calda e confortevole. Le camere sono molto pulite e non profumate che possono essere un problema comune nelle città antiche. Sono anche molto collegate intorno e in grado di introdurre ristoranti/bar. Una vista mozzafiato e un'ospitalità ancora migliore La vista dalla mia camera al quarto piano è stata il vero punto forte: uno spettacolare panorama senza ostacoli del Monte innevato del Drago di Giada. Potrete godervi questo incredibile spettacolo direttamente dalla vostra camera, rendendo superfluo frequentare costosi caffè! Per una vista ancora migliore, la struttura offre posti a sedere sul balcone al terzo piano. Ciò che distingue davvero questo posto, tuttavia, è il servizio caloroso e familiare. Gli operatori sono incredibilmente disponibili e attenti. Mi hanno portato i bagagli fino al punto di ritiro auto e ritorno con soli 5 minuti di preavviso. We stayed in Stone Lodge for 3 nights in the middle of December. Let us talk about the good things first. 1. Snow Mountain View rooms can see 日照金山from bed. 2. Location is good for going to snow mountain. It takes around 20min to reach visitor centre of snow mountain. 3. Service is very good. U can ask for anything and they will provide for example bubble wrap to pack our fragile shopping. There’s also free laundry service. 4. Good for those who like the activities included in the room package. We did the Naxi home visit, horse riding and art and craft diy and enjoyed them very much. We like the afternoon tea provided too. And we can have coffee and fruits as much as we want. Now some points to note. 1. Room is a bit small for 3 of us. The toilet is like a shower cubicle that opens into the room. We only discovered the ventilation switch im the middle of the stay and was wondering why the cubicle is so stuffy, not to mention the smell. With the ventilation on, the problems are solved. The shower cubicle is opposite with the sink in between them. All open into the room with no partition around the bathroom area. The walls of the toilet and shower cubicles are frosted glass and is acceptable for me and my daughters, all ladies. 2. The village is very small. Not much to see. We went to a cafe popular on internet that can take photo on the roof with the snow mountain in the background. The drinks are ok but the pasta is not nice. Maybe that’s why this restaurant is not in the recommended list of the hotel. We did not explore the village much but from what I see, it’s just 1 short street. 3. Ask for a 3rd floor room. It has a sky roof over the bed and we can see stars when we turn off all the lights in the room. Overall, we did not regret our decision to stay here in the Stone Lodge. If the activities were not included in the package, we would not have experienced them at all.

Il nostro soggiorno qui è stato fantastico, l'arredamento della camera e il bagno. I letti erano comodi, la doccia e i servizi igienici erano puliti e molto lussuosi. L'area colazione sul tetto, a bordo piscina, è uno spettacolo da vedere, con vista sul monte Yulong. Credo che l'alloggio abbia fatto del suo meglio per offrire agli ospiti la migliore esperienza possibile di Lijiang, grazie alla sua posizione. Per quanto divertente sia stata l'esperienza per tutta la famiglia, siamo molto dispiaciuti di andarcene. Lijiang è magica e Paralloge l'ha resa ancora più speciale per noi. Cleanliness: room was slightly dusty. Spiders and insects in the room, but expected because it has many oriental decorations that require constant cleaning to prevent dust accummulation. Location: convenient, it’s of walking distance to the north gate, easy to stroll around to different parts of the ancient town. Service: I have never given a bad review for the service attitude of any accomodations which I’ve stayed at in China, but I honestly think that the service here is mediocre and more reactive than proactive. They fulfil the basics of bringing your luggage up to your room, giving directions to the laundry and breakfast areas and arranging for pick up from the station to the hotel for a stay of at least three consecutive nights. I cannot speak for all the service staff, but the service staff that mainly tended to me during the stay definitely needs to be improved. He was helpful when I needed help for the laundry setting. However, when I needed help with booking tickets to snow mountain (I’m a foreigner and do not have a local number), it was a rather frustrating experience. He shared that the booking of tickets to Yulong Snow Mountain can be done 3-4 days in advance, and he could help me when I arrive at the accommodations. When I arrived, it was 4 days in advance but he was rather nonchalent and did not manage to help me secure tickets for my intended date of visit and had to eventually rely on the tour group to help change dates. The night before the tour visit, I had to reach out on wechat to ask about when and where the meeting point is for the tour. Even after the tour, I even had to ask several times to pay for the tour tickets as he had helped me to secure the ticket to the glacier park cablecar eventually. I had already shared that I could not transfer money on wechat and could only do via scanning his wechat/alipay qr code or vice versa. I feel that given that you guys are located in Lijiang and located near to Jade Snow Mountain, you should have encountered other customers who need help with the booking and this shouldn’t have been such a stressful tour booking experience. Amenities: they have two all-in-1 washing machine and drying amenities which was rather helpful. In the original room which i had booked, the air con leaked at around 10pm+. I texted the service staff on wechat and another staff came 5-10minutes later to check. This staff said it’s normal for the air con to leak at times especially if it’s blocked. After checking, he offered to change rooms for me. He helped me to move my luggage to the new room. There was no form of apology by any of the staff on the day itself when the incident happened. It was only on the next day when I requested for check-out transportation services to the railway station for the following day, where the staff who mainly tended to be apologised for the aircon leakage and offered complimentary transport services to the railway station. I’ve stayed in many accomodations in Yunnan but this was the most disappointing stay thus far and I will definitely not be back again.
