KKB LLocated in the mountains of Qingcheng, this place truly feels like a “人间仙境” (a paradise on earth). Life here is simple and peaceful — villagers go about their daily routines by climbing up and down the mountain, which adds to the charm and authenticity of the experience. The air is incredibly clean and refreshing.
Both hosts are exceptionally warm and welcoming, and they love sharing interesting stories about the area. You can really feel the care and effort they’ve put into the place, especially in the garden, which is beautifully maintained and a highlight of the stay.
A perfect escape if you’re looking for tranquility and a deeper connection with nature.

Best part is walking distance to 太平街, Guan Xian Old City, South Bridge, blue eye tears, train Lidui Park Station and selfie panda. Recommended to stay here.

And when the rain falls, the forest comes alive with a natural symphony that’s nothing short of magical. Sitting quietly in one of the many beautiful tea houses scattered throughout the courtyard or nestled against the mountain backdrop, you can’t help but feel a deep sense of calm as nature engages all your senses. It’s truly therapeutic for the soul.
For those seeking a more hands-on experience, the guesthouse offers a variety of activities that are sure to delight, especially families with children. Whether it’s fishing in a tranquil stream or exploring the forest at night in search of glowworms, there’s something special for everyone. Normally, I tend to avoid hotels popular with families. But here, in this zen-like setting, the sound of children laughing and playing only adds to the charm rather than detracting from the serenity.
Every corner of this retreat is a photo opportunity, and every meal is a sumptuous feast. The ancient gate transports you to another world, and the evening white mist enhances the sense of wonder. The house-made osmanthus baijiu, reserved exclusively for guests, is a refined treat that speaks to the thoughtful touches that elevate the experience. The level of care and attention to details here far exceeds the cost, leaving you feeling truly pampered by the generosity of this guesthouse and its staff, who go above and beyond to make you feel like an honored guest.
I was particularly impressed by the staff and their evident training. They were polite, enthusiastic, and fully invested in ensuring that guests had a great stay. In similar boutique hotels, you might expect to see more of the owner’s presence. But at Shouzhou, the front-of-house staff take full ownership of running the property, with a level of professionalism that is both refreshing and commendable.
Our journey from Qingchengshan to Qionglai and onward to Emeishan was long, but entirely worth it. We are especially grateful to the young front-of-house male staff and his colleague, who graciously offered to drive us nearly 30 minutes to a location where we could catch a Didi to Emeishan. This kind gesture was the embodiment of hospitality at its finest.
I hope more people discover this hidden gem and have the chance to experience its uplifting atmosphere for themselves.

SSushi is lifePosto bellissimo, come mostrato nelle foto. Servizio e cibo ottimi. Il letto era super comodo, la doccia era calda e potente, i prodotti da bagno erano di ottima qualità. Siamo andati con i nostri genitori anziani e hanno adorato stare nella natura e respirare aria fresca ogni giorno. Sembra un'oasi di pace lontana dal caos e dalla frenesia del mondo.
Da notare che non ci sono negozi nelle vicinanze, dato che l'hotel si trova a metà collina e il ristorante dell'hotel non è aperto tutto il giorno. Questo non è stato un problema per noi, dato che abbiamo potuto ordinare cibo a domicilio con la guida del personale dell'hotel. Inoltre, è molto più vicino a 街子古镇 e piuttosto distante dalla zona principale di 青城山. Ci è piaciuta molto 街子古镇, perché è molto meno turistica della zona principale di 青城山 e abbiamo trascorso un'intera giornata esplorando la città.
Cosa potrebbe essere migliorato:
- Durante il nostro primo giorno abbiamo avuto problemi con il Wi-Fi e il riscaldamento della camera. Sebbene il personale abbia risposto immediatamente alle nostre richieste di assistenza, ci sono volute alcune ore per riparare il Wi-Fi, mentre il riscaldamento è stato riparato solo il giorno successivo. Il servizio è stato comunque molto piacevole e apprezzo i loro sinceri aggiornamenti, perché capisco che alcune cose siano fuori controllo. Avrei preferito che avessero controllato il riscaldamento prima.
- Non c'era un tour della struttura al nostro arrivo, né un'introduzione alle attività gratuite disponibili durante il nostro soggiorno, quindi abbiamo dovuto esplorare il posto da soli e chiedere attività come: calligrafia, equitazione, trasferimento gratuito in auto alla stazione ferroviaria di Qingchengshan.
Nel complesso, nonostante qualche piccolo intoppo, è stato un soggiorno molto confortevole e riposante. Grazie al team per essersi preso cura di noi!

Xingye Snow Mountain Manor – Comfortable Stay with Hot Springs, but Snow-Dependent
Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is located about a 30–40 minute drive from Xiling Snow Mountain. We chose this hotel mainly for a skiing trip, with the added bonus of having hot spring facilities on-site. We stayed from 28–30 December 2025. Unfortunately, while there was a small amount of snow at the top of the mountain, there wasn’t enough snow for skiing, which is worth keeping in mind as snow conditions are very weather-dependent.
The hotel itself has good facilities, including hot springs, sauna, and a swimming pool. The hot spring experience felt private and relaxing, as there are multiple smaller tubs designed for individuals or family groups, rather than one large communal pool. There is also a dedicated changing area with showers, plenty of towels, and hair dryers, which is well-organised and convenient after soaking.
The surrounding area is quite deserted, with only a few old shops across the road selling BBQ skewers and basic convenience store snacks. The police station is immediately next door, which adds a sense of security. Dining options nearby are very limited, so the hotel restaurant is the most decent and reliable place to eat. We particularly enjoyed their non-spicy chicken and mushroom hotpot, priced at 368 yuan, which was generous enough for a family of 3–4 people. The breakfast was also yummy and a highlight of our stay.
One nice extra was the complimentary photo session with a professional photographer. You receive 3 photos for free, and if you choose to purchase all the digital photos taken, it costs around 400 yuan for approximately 43 photos.
Transportation was one downside. We didn’t enjoy using Didi in this area. On the way to Xiling Snow Mountain, the Didi fare was 40 yuan, but the driver asked for an additional 30 yuan to cover his return trip. For the return journey, the driver didn’t accept the fixed price, used the meter instead, and requested an extra 20 yuan for parking fees at the mountain.
For reference, the cable car prices at Xiling Snow Mountain are 320 yuan per person per day to the top, or 250 yuan per person per day to the halfway point. If you stay at hotels near the cable car, you only pay for the ride once. Since Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is farther away, you have to pay the same cable car rate every day, which adds up.
Overall, Xingye Snow Mountain Manor is a comfortable hotel with good hot spring facilities and decent food, but it’s best suited for travellers who value relaxation over convenience. If skiing is your main goal, staying closer to the cable car may be more cost-effective and practical.

This place was exactly like the photos – super nice with amazing service. The hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us a ride to the Qingcheng Mountain entrance and the Qingcheng Railway Station. If you’re planning to hike up Qingcheng Mountain, I totally recommend staying here.
1.The room was super spacious and looked just like the pictures. Everything felt fresh, clean, and super comfy.
2.The bed was really soft, and all the amenities were modern and well thought out.
3.The staff were friendly, helpful, and just really lovely overall.
4.Great location – close to Qingcheng Station and the mountain.
5.Breakfast is included, but sadly we woke up too late to try ๆit. Next time for sure! We did have lunch there though, and it was delicious.
6.Honestly, everything was great. Totally worth every penny.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole al Dujiangyan Center Hotel per 3 giorni e 2 notti!
L'hotel è pulito, la camera è spaziosa e molto confortevole. Sono stato fortunato ad avere una vista sul fiume: la vista era così rilassante, soprattutto di notte. Adoro l'atmosfera tranquilla.
Per gli altri viaggiatori musulmani, niente stress per il cibo. Ci sono 2-3 ristoranti halal vicino all'hotel, tutti raggiungibili a piedi, quindi è stato molto comodo.
La posizione è super strategica:
• Meno di 10 minuti a piedi dall'antica città di Guanxian
• Circa 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Lidui Park
• Circa 5 minuti a piedi da Yangtianwo Square (il famoso panda dei selfie 🐼)
È molto facile anche prendere un taxi o un didi da qui, quindi muoversi è senza problemi.
Piccolo consiglio: assicuratevi che tutte le finestre siano ben chiuse di notte. In Cina, alcuni hotel lasciano le finestre leggermente aperte per far entrare l'aria fresca, e potremmo non accorgercene. Quindi, controllate bene prima di dormire 😊
Nel complesso, mi è piaciuto molto il mio soggiorno qui. Camera confortevole, bella vista sul fiume, ottima posizione, adatto ai musulmani: decisamente consigliato se visitate Dujiangyan!

UUtente ospiteI liked the (Chinese-style) breakfast. The staff was helpful and they even took me down to the front of the mountain ticket office. The food at night (beef and bamboo shoots) was not bad.
I stayed in the garden view room, with two single beds. The bed was comfortable. The tea in the room was really nice Maofeng tea. The style of the room didn’t scream luxury to me (not the quiet kind either).
As for the location, I thought it would be nice to be in mountainous surroundings but it didn’t prove to be very convenient for my needs. I arrived on Friday and went to the front mountain on Saturday. Someone from the hotel very kindly dropped me off near the ticket office.
A little aside: After visiting the mountain I decided on a spontaneous trip to Nanqiao (the south bridge) in Dujiangyan (I had not seen it at night on an earlier trip there). It was not that hard to find a taxi back, but keep in mind a small surcharge of 3.9% for taking you up the mountain).
On Sunday I left the hotel too late as it was already very busy on the road to the back mountain ticket the taxi driver did not want to take me there (cause it would mean being stuck in traffic for hours either no compensation for all this waste of time) but offered to take me to The high speed railway station from which I could take a bus (passing hotel again!). Obviously the bus also ended up in a traffic jam, but in any case I did make it there in the end. Luckily I took my luggage and left it at a shop next to the foot passenger ticket office for 5 yuan.
Unfortunately the hot water spring is only open in winter. They have a nice pool though. I enjoyed my stay but didn’t find it very luxurious although it is rare to have a hotel with a pool in China, so that was cool. At around 50 euros per night it was okay value for money.

UUtente ospiteL'esperienza in hotel che ho avuto questa volta è stata fantastica! Appena entrato nella hall, ho potuto percepire l'entusiasmo del personale. Il check-in è stato veloce e premuroso e mi hanno anche aiutato a scegliere la tipologia di camera più adatta. La camera era pulita e ordinata, l'arredamento era semplice ed elegante, i servizi erano completi, la biancheria da letto era morbida e confortevole e ho dormito bene. La colazione era ricca e varia, sia cinese che occidentale, e i sapori erano buoni. Anche la posizione è molto comoda, ed è comodo per mangiare e fare shopping. La prossima volta sceglierò questo hotel!
