Hotel in zona California Garden, Melbourne

This place was close to The MCG and ideal for us. We wanted free parking for 10 days and this was provided by a refunded permit. Gary at reception was friendly and helpful. On-site coin operated laundry was clean and worked well. Our room was basic and quiet with a very comfortable king bed. Rooms were scrupulously clean although the bathroom needed an exhaust fan and better water pressure in the shower but room cleaning service was available daily. Decor could have been a little better but for the price we’re happy to stay there again.

I booked directly so the property was removed from fees through a 3rd party. I asked about parking and was advised it was in the basement i asked to book and was advised no need to, was also advised that there is street parking. On arrival i was met with a very Pompas young woman who requested a $150 bond ( nothing was mentioned at time of booking ) i asked why and was told ALL HOTELS CHARGE THIS I advised never had i before been charged. I was also charged a parking fee again not mentioned at point of booking. I took my bags to the room and on returning to outside the building met other travelers who advised me they were charged $100 bond and they also were shocked. I was left thinking why was i charged $150 The apartment was clean and bed comfortable however my experience with the staff outweighed the room and bed. . On returning to me home I called to speak to a manager re this and was met with a manager ( HE CALLED HIMSELF THAT ) FROM EAST Melbourne apartment .. He was very rude on the phone over talked me entirely , he asked me my personal details i gave them then the room number i gave it. He then heated up and said we dont have that room number , not being from Melbourne I asked are you near Station Pier ( he replied I dont know this ) I then said so you dont know where the boat leaves to go to Tasmania. He said no I said really and you're in Tourism . He said no and started over talking me so fast I could hardly understand him ( he was not a national person ) no not being racist just stating facts. He then hung up on me I was shocked i did call back and asked to speak to General Manager he gave me an email address ceem@cityedge.com.au. If this is they type of Up front Managers that the Edge Apartments have as the face of their company then I am shocked working in Tourism myself for many years I would never have this person working for my company and to know general points of information about the State I was working in is an embarrassment to any organization..

Nessun problema - ci siamo sentiti molto benvenuti. - La stanza era grande, tranquilla e confortevole. È un vecchio edificio che è stato spruzzato con nuovi dipinti e mobili. - Il letto era eccellente e la stanza è molto pulita. La stanza per il miglioramento - Uno degli ascensori (solo 2 ci sono) è terribilmente lento e dovrebbe essere sostituito. - Solo così tanto si può fare con un vecchio edificio, ma non abbiamo avuto lamentele.

A brand new hotel is always good to experience - fresh rooms and public areas. Great staff throughout. Excellent coffee in lobby. Great location with awesome bars and restaurants close by. My only negative is “city view” rooms have a city view when standing up - but when sitting down or in bed the glass has privacy screen as lots of other buildings around.

Ho visitato il Mantra Jolimont, che si ferma vicino al tram, rendendolo relativamente accessibile alla città che si può camminare attraverso i parchi se si dispone di tempo. Non mi ha disturbato un suono durante il mio soggiorno di tre notti e l'aggiornamento dell'appartamento era benvenuto e confortevole. Era un po' freddo in camera, perché il controllo centrale del riscaldamento non funzionava, ma il gentiluomo alla ricezione mi ha fornito un riscaldatore portatile sufficiente.

Sono interstatale per le attività commerciali su base regolare e ho soggiornato in molti luoghi di alloggio ben classificati, tuttavia, impegnato a trovare qualcosa da criticare in questo hotel. Il personale è sorprendente - niente è troppo difficile, fanno tutte le piccole cose, oltre e oltre ciò che mi aspetto che ti faccia sentire come un ospite speciale. Tutti sembravano ”colpiti a mano” per adattarsi alla cultura di servizio dell'hotel. La qualità e la pulizia delle strutture sono A1. Le camere sono confortevoli e tranquille. Un piccolo tavolo e sedie, divano e TV enorme sono una caratteristica benvenuta. Le strutture di conferenza funzionavano bene. La sala di conferenza, la sala colazione e il bar Bistro/cocktail intimati offrono cibo e bevande di qualità. Il mio partner è disabilito in una sedia a rotelle e tutte le sue esigenze erano ben soddisfatte e veramente soddisfatte in una stanza standard. Solo una suggerimento - sarebbe bello avere un impianto di fermature magnetiche, quindi la porta resterà aperta mentre passa con la sedia a rotelle o i sacchetti.Grazie, team Marriott, saremo sicuramente indietro :)

Camere pulite, personale amichevole e posizione perfetta. Facile accesso ai punti di trasporto pubblico e di pasto. Grande valore per i soldi. Buona opzione di bilancio per una breve visita. Mi piacerebbe tornare.

Perfect choice for an hotel in Melbourne. They are located in the heart of China Town, which is very crowded in the evening/night, so could be a bit time consuming to reach at that time of the day. They have an agreement with a near Wilson Parking, so you’ll always know where to leave your car.

La posizione è perfetta e il personale è bello. La stanza era completamente diversa dalle foto. Non c'è niente come cortine che bloccano l'acqua dal doccia e l'acqua che si spruzza intorno al bagno e all'intero pavimento. Se lo sapessimo, non avremmo prenotato questo hotel. La posizione è perfetta, quindi consiglio questo hotel a persone che non si preoccupano davvero di doccia.. Altre camere potrebbero essere diverse e meglio di noi...

pros: Good situation, Convenient transportation nearby. cons: Maybe cause of detergent or disinfectant of bed sets, I felt my skin was itchy that never happened the hotels I lived before. After I lay down in the bed for 20mins, the itchy feeling came. When I went out, no itchy feeling came.
