Appartamenti a Melbourne

I stay in hotels A LOT! But except for one other occasion, I've never bothered to leave reviews. But this place is one of the more questionable hotels I've stayed at for several reasons. The hotel: - they charged my credit card the full fee a day BEFORE I checked in. They have a 24 hr cancellation period with minimal one night charge yet they still took it upon themselves to charge me before I actually checked in - very unethical - they want a photo of government issued ID. Weird, with all the crazy data breaches occurring, it's recommended private entities DO NOT store this unnecessary data, yet they still expected a copy. I didn't provide it, just let them sight it upon check in - the pics used to promote the apartments are stretched out and misleading. The actual apartment is small, very small if you consider the costs incurred - photos online make it look like there is a bathtub, (and when I called the hotel to check, the person I spoke to told me there was a bathtub) but there actually isn't any which is VERY inconvenient when travelling with a companion who can only use a tub (for accessibility reasons) - they don't do housekeeping every day. You can ask for fresh towels but goodluck getting a vacuum or dirty bin emptied. The actual apartment - there is no ducted air conditioning. On a hot day (was 35° when I checked in) I needed to blast the AC at 18° (we froze in the living area) just so cool air can seep into the bedroom and cool it down so we can sleep - the actual apartment was very dirty. Tiles had previous occupants hair on the floor, carpet is stained in multiple locations, glass doors and outside balcony railing dirty with hand prints and smudges - minimal crockery and cutlery provided. Only one drinking glass provided - no tea towel provided - phone in room not set up. Had to call reception from my mobile to report issues - oddly there are very few electrical ports in the living area. Difficult to charge devices - there is no shelving in the wardrobe, and it's difficult to tidy anything up or pack things away. Only one storage shelf and you need a ladder to access it - the railing for the wardrobe is so high, one needs to be over 7 foot to use it - to access the bathroom, one needs to go through the bedroom so it's really hard to have one person stay up while another sleeps - the bathroom doesn't have a drain so any access water needs to be mopped with the towels to avoid a slip hazard (problematic as they only give you 2 towels and don't do daily room service) - there are NO clothes hooks in the bathroom The positives: Overall the staff were pleasant and friendly. Every staff member I spoke to in person was hospitable, helpful and very kind. The blockout blinds were good and the sound proofing was great. They also accommodated late check out. I felt very disappointed as I travel to Melbourne monthly and was very disappointed to pay premium costs for accommodation but get what I consider inadequate facilities. I'd only recommend s

Ottimo ubicazione. Tutti i negozi e i pranzi sono a pochi passi. Il personale dell'hotel è estremamente amichevole e utile. Io apprezzerei il loro servizio meglio di quelli di Park Hyatt Melbourne. La denuncia era solo la scarsa prova del suono. Posso sentire chiaramente rumori dalla stanza vicina. Questo è un disturbo che l'hotel deve guardare dentro.

The location is excellent. The room is clean and comfortable. The check-in and check-out function quickly and pleasantly. However, the breakfasts were always a bad start for the day. The breakfast restaurant is small and the tables are placed very close to each other (you feel disturbing other guests as you go to your table). For entering the breakfast restaurant, you have to wait in a long line. This line becomes longer, as some guests have forgotten their room number or are claimed to have not the breakfast included. This discussion prolongs the waiting time. Upon entering the breakfast restaurant, you have to confirm your name in addition to stating your room number. There are no fresh vegetables. To get a couple of fried eggs, you have to scan a code, This scanning does not function. Since there is no scrambled egg at some occasions as a compromise, you have to ask for eggs and wait for them. Sometimes, you get wrong number of eggs. There is no flow. To fix your drink (for instance orange juice) you have to go to the entrance (via the smal passages between the tables) and then go to the other end of the restaurant for eggs, bacon, etc. The coffee machine gives more cappucino than there is room in the cup. The restaurant opens at 6:30am on weekdays and 7:00am on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no options, in case you have an early flight. The staff appears to be aware of these problems and refer to the management instructions…

I was shocked when I came coz the hotel can't fins my booking!! Lucky I have the confirmation email and the problem was solved in abt 15mins. However I donnoe if they just gave me an avail room coz I tot my room has bathtub but in the end no bathtub 🥲 Bed is comfy but room is small. Have to req for toothbrush and toothpaste at reception as it is not available in room. Also no bottled water given. Location-wise is gd.. Just few mins walk to Melbourne Central and there are some halal restaurants within walking distance too.. do try Blok M, Khao man gai chicken rice and mamak melbourne. Convenient to take the free trams too

Beautiful older style hotel situated just north of the bustling city centre. Check in was quick however we had requested a room on a high floor and we were given one on street level, we asked about this and they kindly changed the room. Breakfast was included in our stay and was great with plenty of choices for all types. We had a massage at the day spa which was fantastic and faultless. The location is an easy walk into the city as well as Smith St Collingwood which is really buzzing on the weekends. The room we had was a mid range type (cant remember) and was of a good size with a large walk in robe and bathroom. Would definitely return for our next visit to Melbourne.

Questo hotel classico è tutto quello che si può desiderare e aspettare. Il personale è favoloso, sempre utile e relativo. La stanza che avevamo era incredibile - un foyer d'ingresso, bagno separato, grande camera da letto e cammino-in-cabina con minibar; più una suite che semplicemente una stanza. Il mobilio e la decorazione della nostra suite e di tutto l'hotel sono adeguatamente del periodo, senza essere preziosi o stufa. Abbiamo avuto una piastra di azioni nel bar dei cricket che era molto buona in qualità e valore e il nostro colazione stamattina è stato magnifico e magnificamente presentato da un grande personale - tranquillamente efficiente. Vi consigliamo di prendere il tempo di andare a guardare tutte le opere d'arte e forse potremmo vedervi la prossima volta che rimaniamo; certamente torneremo.

First time in Melbourne and decided to stay at the Hotel Indigo as it was advertised as being newly remodeled from old Holiday Inn and my prior experience with the brand in the USA. The hotel was very clean and modern. The staff and the desk were very friendly and helpful. My room looked upon the old Victoria Railway Administration building. My room was spacious enough for me. The window was very large as you can tell from the photo, but wished the automated shade also goes bottom to top as well, so I could keep the top part open and bottom window closed for privacy at night. The breakfast at the hotel was very satisfying and provided a good start to the day. Hotel is within walking distance to Southern Cross station, where I went to the Woolworth grocery store for some items as I had stayed 5 nights at the hotel. Hotel is also walking distance to the CBD with locations like Town Hall, Chinatown, Yarra River, Art Museum not too far. All in all, had a good stay here.

La nostra prima parte della nostra esperienza era con Cameron, della squadra di servizio, e c'era un problema nella nostra stanza 0804, in cui il condizionamento d'aria non funzionava e ha continuato a far saltare in aria calda (oltre 25.5 gradi). Cameron si trovava immediatamente sul palco e spiegava cosa avrebbe indagato, ma dopo una notte molto calda, ha fatto tutti gli accordi con Lisa sul desk front per spostarci in un'altra stanza di tipo identica 1304 e ci ha aiutati a spostarci. La posizione e le azioni proattive di Cameron sono state di prima classe.Ben fatto, Cameron. Eravamo su un pacchetto prepagato di 4 notti, ma dopo 2 notti abbiamo ricevuto notizie disturbanti su un membro della famiglia criticamente malato. Sono andato in un stato molto disturbato per parlare con Lisa sul Front Desk, che era molto empatico e comprensivo e non avrebbe potuto essere più sostenibile. Lisa poi andò a parlare con il suo manager e ritornò e consigliò che sarei contattato da Luxury Escapes re la situazione e il nostro taglio per le nostre vacanze . Per fortuna potevamo tornare a Sydney quella sera, tornando a casa nostra e andando all'ospedale per passare 45 minuti con il nostro familiare prima che fossero passati. L'empathia e l'approccio personale adottato da Lisa rimarranno con me per sempre in un momento così critico della nostra vita. Finalmente abbiamo ricevuto un'e-mail da Luxury Escapes che diceva che Novotel Melbourne su Collins aveva rimborsato metà della nostra commissione prepagata e ha accettato di regolare il pacchetto a 2 notti invece delle 4 notti originali. L' hotel non ha dovuto farlo , soprattutto considerando l' immediata uscita che abbiamo dovuto fare , quindi ringrazio il direttore dell' hotel Lisa per aver parlato con lui quando ha preso la decisione . Torneremo a Melbourne quando la vita ritornerà alla normalità e dopo la nostra esperienza ci sarà solo un hotel che considereremo di rimanere in e questo è Novotel Melbourne su Collins.

Sono rimasto per 3 notti dal 30 maggio 2024. Ho inviato l'e-mail in anticipo e gli ho detto che arriverò la mattina al volo iniziale. Non mi aspettavo di poter entrare presto, quindi gli ho chiesto di tenere il mio bagaglio. Ma hanno preparato una stanza per controllare in anticipo e è stato una bella sorpresa che mi forniscono una stanza non migliorata! La mia chiave non funzionava nell'ascensore, ma la signora della ricevitrice era molto utile e mi portava in camera, sbattuta la chiave e controllata la chiave che lavorava nella stanza. La stanza era pulita, spaziosa, due TV a schermo ampi e un'atmosfera moderna e confortevole. Mi sono davvero rilassato per vedere un buon film di selezione e mi sono divertito T2 tè. La posizione era grande. L'Arcade Reale è solo incrociando la strada e mi è piaciuto andare a prendere caffè ogni mattina intorno alla Little Burke Street e Flinders Lane dove sono a soli 5 minuti a piedi. Hanno organizzato un check-out tardivo, più mi hanno tenuto il bagaglio fino al momento del mio volo. Era un grande servizio al cliente. Questo è un piccolo hotel boutique. Tuttavia, sembra che stiano cercando di fornire un servizio flessibile e soddisfare le esigenze del cliente. In generale, è stato un soggiorno molto piacevole!
