Hotel in zona Madrid Chamartin Train Station, Madrid

We were going to Valencia from Chamartin first thing, so the main criteria for the hotel was that it was close to the station. It is really close to the station. Big tick there. It's not the prettiest building from the outside, but inside is quite a different. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It has an outside pool, but given that the overnight temperatures were below freezing, unsurprisingly the pool was shut. The room was very nice. I can't remember the type of room (sorry!) but it had a bit with a sofa and a TV then a sort-of partitiion and then a really decent sized bed and another TV. Nice touch with the TV - you're in another country so you shouldn't expect English speaking channels, but both TVs had a Chromecast attached so it was easy to pair it with a phone or tablet and watch Netflix/Amazon Prime/saved films, etc on the TVs, which is a nice feature. Most hotels don't offer this. Only criticism is that that the hotel is very tall and it is very possible to fall out of the windows. To clarify, for most people that's not going to happen. It's just that there's nothing to stop you opening the windows on high floors - some hotels stop you opening the windows too much but these windows are easily opened and quite low. Personally I was absoutely fine with it as it let me take pictures of the north of the city and the 4 towers of CBTA unobstructed, but if you have kids with you then keep an eye out. (This is just a heads up - the rooms are fine, you might just not want to leave kids unattended.) If you don't have kids with you there is absolutely nothing to worry about, although when I opened the windows it did make me feel a little nervous. Rooms had blackout curtains and had decent soundproofing as well. Breakfast was really good. Good selection of juices, cereals, baked goods, charcuterie as well as british staples like toast, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, bacon and sausage. We arrived quite late in the afternoon and went wandering. Definitely worth checking out the worryingly tilted Puerta De Europa twin towers which are nearby. We were facing north and the view over the CBTA (home to some of the tallest buildings in the EU) and the north of Madrid is stunning, however the area around the hotel isn't the prettiest. Transport links are fantastic. Madrid's public transport system is really good and from Chamartin you can get to most of the city, including the touristy bits really easily. If I came back to Madrid would I some back here? If it were as a tourist then I might not, only because we came back to Madrid a few days later and stayed right in the centre, which was very convenient for touristy things. If I was here for non-touristy reasons or if I was planning to catch a train then I 100% would.

Dopo un'accoglienza in mezzo colore abbiamo adorato questo posto hotel pulito buona lettera un passaggio alla piscina al 9° piano per rilassarsi guardando Madrid. Riposatevi dopo le visite alla terrazza del bar. Come al ristorante il padrone dell'hotel è molto professionale sorridente ha convinto il cuoco a preparare una tazza di frutta alle 23 con entusiasmo come al ristorante dove abbiamo gustato un eccellente menu rapporto qualità prezzo e servizio di qualità. Tutto è fatto a casa qui! Deliziosi sapori vi aspettano.

L'attenzione è stata super buona. Siamo arrivati anche mezz'ora prima dell'ingresso, e hanno risolto tutto velocemente in modo che potessimo entrare prima. Molto buono anche il servizio di pulizia e accoglienza. Le strutture sono molto belle e molto eleganti, l'unica cosa è la posizione dell'Hotel. Se vuoi usare il trasporto pubblico del treno, devi camminare un po' per arrivarci. Penso che in questo caso la cosa migliore sarebbe il trasporto**** in auto.

Il posto sembra davvero ombreggiato all'interno. Sono solo letti inflabili che sono estremamente incomodi. Non si possono chiudere chiavi, ma si può chiedere alla ricezione di aprire la porta del magazzino dove tutti conservano le valigie e le cose importanti e questo magazzino è chiuso in ogni momento.

We stayed 4 nights before Christmas. The hotel was quite nice and very festive! Very much enjoyed the large area around and up to the hotel bar on the ground level. Nice place to relax, and also have a drink. We did not eat at the hotel however. The staff was also quite pleasant and we got a quiet room higher up facing the interior courtyard. The room was well kept, perfect size, and well furnished. The concierge helped us find things to do, and we learned how to get to the nearby metro stations to head downtown. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice, quiet, and with a number of very small boutique restaurants. Another added bonus was that the famous Sorolla Museum (His House) is just a few blocks away. We would return here.

Grande servizio, controlliamo presto quando la nostra stanza era pronta! Personale davvero amichevole e sempre più che felice di aiutare! Grande posizione anche con facilità al trasporto locale

L’ostello si trova in una posizione perfetta a pochi passi dalla centralissima stazione Sol. La posizione ci ha consentito di girare tutto il centro di Madrid senza dover mai prendere un mezzo. Si arriva a Sol comodamente dall’aeroporto con un solo cambio. Personale sorridente e super gentile. La camera familiare era perfetta per le nostre esigenze: moderna, pulita e rifatta ogni giorno. Finestre super insonorizzate non si percepisce il minimo rumore dall’esterno. Meno insonorizzate le porte interne che sbattono un po’. Abbiamo comunque riposato benissimo. Cassetta di sicurezza in camera con cauzione. Non abbiamo provato il bar ma sembrava un ambiente confortevole ed accogliente. Insomma: nulla da invidiare ai migliori hotel, ci torneremo!

Nel complesso molto soddisfatto. Sembra simile all'Hanting in Cina. Più semplice e molto pulito. Sono disponibili flaconi di sapone per le mani e per il corpo, ma non sono disponibili altri articoli usa e getta (spazzolini da denti e pantofole). La maggior parte degli hotel in Europa non fornisce in modo proattivo articoli usa e getta. Se ne hai davvero bisogno puoi chiedere alla reception. Fare il check-out è molto comodo, basta mettere la tessera della camera nella piccola scatola designata e puoi semplicemente spingere la scatola e andartene. L'unica pecca era che l'ordinanza diceva che dovevamo cercare di sistemarci una stanza tranquilla, ma ci è stata assegnata una stanza lungo la strada, inoltre dall'altra parte della strada si stava costruendo e ristrutturando un edificio e durante il giorno si sentivano continui rumori, rendendo impossibile restare in casa. Non lontano dall'hotel c'è la metropolitana e la stazione, e anche i trasporti sono convenienti. Molto soddisfatto sotto altri aspetti.
