Hotel a 4 stelle popolari a Lanzarote

Mi è piaciuto molto stare qui, il primo hotel in assoluto che ho prenotato ed è stato così bello la gentilezza e il servizio che la reception ci ha offerto. La vista dell'oceano era incredibile. La nostra camera era eccezionale. L'intrattenimento è stato fantastico! Non potevamo fare a meno di salire sulla pista da ballo! Direi che l'unico problema erano le mosche che erano ovunque quando eravamo fuori, ma il barista ci ha fatto sapere che era solo tempismo.

I can highly recommend this clean and comfortable hotel within a short walk of the centre of Yaiza. It is worth paying the supplement for an upgraded room as it is very enjoyable to sit on your own balcony in the evening to relax and read a book or to have a drink. The hotel restaurant is, in my opinion, the best in Yaiza with excellent food and very attentive staff. The very appetising hotel buffet style breakfast is served in the courtyard and it provides a wide range of breads, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, cheese, teas and coffees. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Eravamo già stati in un altro Barcelò ed essendoci trovati bene abbiamo provato questo alzando il tiro con l'opzione Royal Level. Lo consiglio vivamente per diversi motivi: le junior suite sono arredate benissimo e sono molto comode, si ha a disposizione la zona migliore dell'hotel con in particolare un ristorante dedicato (cibo molto buono e vario, sia colazione sia cena; con un personale super efficiente e gentile, mai fatta un minimo di coda, sempre tutto in tranquillità e puro relax) e una piscina con pool bar dedicato, dove offrono anche aperitivi durante il pomeriggio. L'hotel nel complesso è molto grande e per me è un pro, si può parcheggiare in strada vista la calma e il tantissimo spazio, ottima posizione per girare l'isola (quasi tutto è a 20 minuti), noi siamo andati anche a piedi al paese di mare vicino grazie alla camminata lungo mare. Non do un voto pieno perchè purtroppo noi avevamo una camera laterale vicina a un motore di una piscina che faceva rumore sempre (chiudendo le finestre però non si sente nulla) e purtroppo, ma c'è poco da fare, la vista è rovinata da quella centrale elettrica/depuratore acqua che comunque si vede in gran parte dell'isola. Gli spettacoli sono carini ma finiscono prestissimo, alle 21:30 è tutto finito e riaccendono le luci in modalità giorno, quindi come ambiente serale non ci siamo proprio.

Solita ottima esperienza presso il Barcelò, prima volta in questo hotel ma si può dire che ho scoperto le Canarie seguendo gli hotel della catena: Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria e ora l'Active di Lanzarote. Tutto ok, stanza grande e molto funzionale, ristorante con cucina internazionale, piscina abbastanza ben tenuta, forse non molto grande ma ho sempre trovato posto a qualunque ora. Soggiorno (17 notti) in generale molto piacevole insomma. Il punto di forza particolare dell'hotel è l'attività sportiva: piscina olimpica, palestra, programma di attività fitness in palestra e in acqua, spazi esterni dove fare jogging sul lungomare... veramente ideale se ci si vuole allenare in vacanza. Non amo l'aria condizionata ed alle Canarie non serve quasi mai, abbiamo però soggiornato durante una ondata di calore particolare, e se fa molto caldo la climatizzazione può risultare insufficiente. Per me non è stato un problema, però dipende dalle preferenze personali. Da tenere presente anche che, se si vuole fare mare, la spiaggia più vicina dove passare la giornata è Las Cucharas, passeggiata (piacevolissima) di 30/40 minuti. Io avevo l'auto a noleggio (Cicar) e quindi sono andato a los Pocillos, molto bella, a circa 20 minuti con parcheggio facile e gratis. Ci tornerei sicuramente

Stavo in una delle suite... mobili e decorazioni di lusso nella stanza e nel bagno...la stanza di roccia vulcanica era sorprendente...Fuori c'era una bella terrazza privata con tavoli e sedie, ma solo una camera molto vecchia e indossata. La colazione era deliziosa e abbondante, ma la mancanza di caffè e tè prima del servizio colazione era sorprendente, dato che non c'erano strutture nella stanza per fare nulla. C'è un bellissimo salone comunale e fuori tavoli e sedie, c'è un frigorifero comunale con un cesto per camera per i vostri beni personali, quindi in serata sarebbe stato perfetto sedere e avere cena e una bevanda, ma non ci sono occhiali, piastre, Cutlery per usare... erano tutti bloccati in tappeti fino al colazione !!!! Hilario è in una posizione così tranquilla, perfetta per esplorare l’isola, ma purtroppo manca in cose semplici e un contatto personale che sono sempre disponibili ovunque altro abbiamo soggiornato. Non abbiamo avuto contatto dai proprietari dopo la nostra arrivo. Dato che abbiamo pagato 117 euro per notte per 7 notti, ci sentiamo che la nostra esperienza non era quello che ci aspettavamo o valore per i soldi.

We've had 2 wonderful stays at Las Brisas with RCI exchanges. This time, with no RCI exchange available we went as paying guests. Sadly, our experience this time was a disappointment. We love the location close to Playa Blanca centre. We also really like the bar and restaurant. We were very unhappy with our accomodation. We booked 7 days in a 1 bedroom villa followed by 5 days in a 2 bedroom villa. We were allocated villa number 2 for the first week on the corner between the main highway and bus station. Very noisy with constant smells of truck and bus fumes. We asked at reception for something further away from the road but nothing was available. So our hope of a quiet week eating and relaxing on our terrace didn't happen. On changeover day we were told to wait in villa 2, until our new villa was ready to move into. We went to reception twice during the morning to check on progress and were told that we would receive a phone call when it was time to move. I assumed that this would be on my mobile because there was no telephone in the villa. Sadly I was wrong and the receptionist apparently rang several times to a non existent phone in the villa. Strange that no-one thought to check why we were not picking up the phone, especially when we'd been to reception twice to check on progress. Eventually, the cleaner handed me her phone because she'd asked the housekeeper why we were still in the villa, so the housekeeper told me villa 21 was ready. We went to reception for keys and it was implied that we were at fault for not answering the phone which didn't exist. So we moved to villa 21. Great location, well away from the road and bus station. Villa 21 was not ready. Beds were not changed, kitchen was not cleaned, cleaning rags and bags of laundry (not sure if clean or dirty) were left in the living room area. So, another trip to reception! The cleaner did return a short while later to finish. Later we opened the fridge. When we did so we were confronted with a disgusting smell of rotting fish. Should have been another trip to reception but instead we decided to do the cleaner's job and throughly clean the fridge. We also bought some lemons in an attempt to improve the smell. None of this worked, so off to reception for another chat. A few hours later, someone came in, fiddled about behind the fridge, sprayed some liquid behind the fridge, and left. That didn't work, so another trip to reception. Late in the following afternoon two people came in, fiddled about behind the fridge, sprayed some liquid behind the fridge and left. About one hour later two more people came in and did the same thing. None of it worked, the smell was still awful every time we opened the firdge. Strange that so many people could repeat the same mistake and hope for a different result. By now it was our last full day in resort.
