"Avevamo una giornata libera prima del nostro volo di ritorno a tarda notte, quindi abbiamo prenotato una camera e abbiamo usufruito dei servizi dell'hotel. La piscina sul tetto e le vasche idromassaggio sono eccellenti. C'è una buona scelta di cibo e bevande da ordinare. Avevamo anche la possibilità di scegliere tra molti ristoranti in loco per la cena. La camera in sé era incantevole e ha soddisfatto le nostre esigenze in termini di un posto dove rinfrescarci prima dell'aeroporto. Da notare che la camera ha una finestra, ma è completamente smerigliata, quindi si riceve luce naturale ma non si vede. Non ci ha dato fastidio, ma potrebbe essere un problema se si rimane più a lungo. Non mi piace che ci sia un'enorme finestra tra la camera da letto e il bagno, soprattutto quando si alloggia da un amico."

"My room smelled like sewage, a strong smell that literally made me sick on a daily. The staff tried to dampen the smell by throwing liquids down the drain, but once you use the taps, the smell is back again. Ive seen reviews about the smell, but thought it was temporary issue at the time it was written. The curtains are visibly dirty and in need of a simple wash. Other than that the room is spacious the aircon works well. The view is beautiful with the trains passing daily against the ocean waves. Big spoon restaurant is s few steps away serving massive portions- a must try. Tuktuks and taxi are also parked right infront of the hotel. Hopefully the sewage smell can be resolved soon...its a good hotel but that smell will never make me book it again."

"L'hotel sembra un po' vecchio, anche la stanza era piuttosto spaziosa ma ha bisogno di qualche tipo di ristrutturazione. Siamo rimasti in hotel solo una notte, quindi è andato tutto bene. I receptionist erano gentili e disponibili. Il cibo al buffet non era molto costoso (abbiamo dovuto pagare un extra per questo) ed era buono. Le attrazioni turistiche più popolari sono raggiungibili a piedi (se vi piace camminare molto ;-))"

"I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Colombo, and overall it was a wonderful experience. The room was extremely spacious, honestly one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in within Colombo. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The room included everything you might need—tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, toothbrushes, and more. The bed was very large and comfortable, and the TV, office table was huge as well. All the facilities such as the lights, air conditioning, and fan worked perfectly, so we had no issues at all. Our room was on the 8th floor (top floor) and we had a nice view overlooking the Galle Face Hotel with a small view of the ocean. The location of the hotel is also excellent since it is very close to Galle Face Green and many other attractions in Colombo, which makes it very convenient for travelers. The check-in process was smooth, and they welcomed us with a refreshing welcome drink. One thing to note is that the security procedure is quite strict. When we had guests visiting our room briefly, they had to provide their IDs and go through a security check. It was the first time I experienced this in a hotel, but it is understandable since it helps maintain safety. Although we booked bed and breakfast, we later asked if we could add the dinner buffet, but unfortunately it was already full. However, something very kind happened later that night. My mother wanted chicken congee, so we asked the room service staff if it was available. Even though it was not on the menu at that moment, they were kind enough to prepare and send us a bowl of chicken congee. It was a very thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated their kindness. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a very wide variety of food, and everything we tried was delicious. My family has always liked the buffets at Ramada, and this time was no different. They also had live cooking stations, and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, everything about the stay was great. The room, service, location, and food were all excellent. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel. It is absolutely worth the price and offers great value for money."
