"Good location, close to the most of the attraction places. Hotel room is clean, impressed by the super clean and big bathtub. All the hotel staffs are friendly. Only one bad point is the aircon was not cool enough, even though the temperature was set at 16 degree. Breakfast has variety choices especially the pastry and bread. Definitely will come back to stay next time."

"Hotel stay was good, booked a Family room. Services were excellent and the location was ideal, all within walking distance. We had a very good sleep. My 2nd time staying here and the breakfast buffet has since improved with a wider spread. Keep up the good work! Worth mentioning is that we requested 3 single beds, although 1st night it was a full house, 2nd day morning they really prepared it for us. But since we slept well, we declined the good offer. Thumbs up!"

"Took Grab from Harbourbay ferry terminal. Wasn't hard for Grab driver to locate. Right across Batam Grand Mall - a more modern mall in Batam. To the mall walking distance of about 100m or so. Check in went fine and they could store our luggage prior to check in timing. Room was very spacious with complimentary minibar for our booking, can't confirm it is for all room or not and whether have such privilege in the future. All items in room works well. The hairdryer wasn't working for my friend's room and they changed it almost immediately. TV had a few Indo, SG and some cable channels. Breakfast was part of our package and started at 6am, main buffet line had different menu for the 2 days we stayed, while the rest of the buffet line repeats. Was easy to get Grab even though it was a weekend. Most of the drivers are on standby at the convenience store opposite the hotel it seems - that's the one being assigned to me at least. Massage parlours everywhere even infront of the hotel there's one. Food as well, easy to find. If your stomach can handle street food, there is a path of them to the left of the hotel. I don't mind staying here again tbh."

"My partner and I love this place: it’s very well maintained, clean, and the staff are friendly and professional. The wide lobby is equipped with sofas we could rest while waiting for our vehicle. The breakfast buffet choices are good too: from Asian to western, healthy to sweet tooth. The gym is well equipped. There are also infinity pool at the top floor, jacuzzi and normal swimming pool. Amenities and facilities are one of the most satisfying ones for us. We look forward to coming back here!"

"Had an amazing stay at Grand Mercure Batam Centre! We stayed at the Deluxe King Room with City View and requested for a higher floor, which they did kindly provide. The best part of the stay was most definitely the service. Everyone was really lovely and friendly, and any requests we had didn't go unheard. Even the security guards were friendly and helpful, assisting my partner to cross the road across the hotel by directing some of the traffic at one point. The breakfast we opted to try on multiple days of our stay was also overally pretty nice, there could be more options but the options that we did have were yummy and refilled often even on busy days. They have a very diverse and large selection of juices, teas, milk and even a coffee machine. Even the water was infused water which was very refreshing. The desserts and bread selection really stand out as well because of the large variety they had! There are even fresh fruits of various kinds beyond the typical hotel breakfast fruits. Highly recommend trying out the hotel breakfast at least once during a stay there. The only negative feedback we had is probably that we noticed some scratches on the furniture, parts of the wall behind the headboard had markings/scratches and had peeled. These were very small details that were on some of the other furniture or walls as well. While they weren't serious and didn't bother us, we hope that the hotel management will continue to maintain and lookout for these small details on the property once in a while. Even with that, it was a small matter as everything worked well and was really clean. It was an amazing stay! They also provide a shuttle bus service with 2 timings to Mega Mall Batam. However, One Batam Mall is also a 10min walk away and is fairly easy to navigate to/walk due to a pedestrian sidewalk on one side of the hotel entrance. Indomaret is also nearby for buying water; the hotel provides 4 glass bottles of water daily, it wasn't enough for us but we did not want to constantly bother the staff to be providing water. I would say that a water dispenser on certain floors would improve the sustainability efforts and reduce the need for requesting glass bottles from the staff or purchasing water outside. All that aside, we hope to stay again and can't wait to see Grand Mercure Batam continue to establish its place in the hotel industry of Batam!"

"L'hotel è molto pulito e nuovo! Mi piace come il centro commerciale è proprio accanto all'hotel e abbiamo avuto un piacevole soggiorno sarebbe tornato! Una parte è la camera tranquilla e la camera tranquilla non vicino all'ascensore ma la mia camera è così rumorosa in mezzo alla notte e non dormivo bene ): il colazione non è per me piacevole :/ ma il tè alto è buono! Tutto altra è prefetto! Personale super bello e amichevole! E' molto vicino a ogni posto dove voglio andare! E anche mi piace la vista anche l'ex edificio c'è ancora la vista super bello può vedere il cielo~"

"The staff on duty can remember me and he display good service toward every guest upon check in  He still call up my room to inform me that I accidentally left my passport at the counter and personally came up to my room 923 to pass my passport back to me  It was so thoughtful and well behaved attitude  Time check in 11pm to 1130pm"

"Good service from reception staff. Housekeeping request attended to promptly. Friendly service in restaurant for dinner. Breakfast had plenty of choices, mix of east and western food. Good location. Many eating options and convenience stores nearby. Brand new hotel so room was in great condition, very comfortable. Hope managment maintains this standard. Room doors could be soundproofed better as morning prayers from nearby mosque and other guests talking in the open hallway were disruptive late at night and early morning."

"Hotel in una posizione molto conveniente, a pochi minuti a piedi dal Grand Batam Mall e da diversi spa. Il colazione era incluso nel prezzo della mia stanza... incontrò un bel personale di servizio chiamato Andalina... molto utile e paziente. La camera era buona con letti e cuscini confortevoli, ma la camera era media e può essere migliorata. In generale, ho goduto del mio soggiorno con il servizio caldo del personale e della porta."
