With friend referral after they stay before. We booked this hotel during this trip for a three nites stay to lepark and rejuvenate.
Usually we will choose a hotel with pool and gym too. But this time, we booked in advance via trip.com and got a very great deal.
The check-in is very efficient handle by front desk executive , me Julios. (Very friendly and polite). Although we arrived an hour earlier, we got check-in instantly.
I really appreciate the great surprise upon entering the studio suite. My partner have quietly arranged with the hotel for a birthday room deco. The hotel went to the great extend to offer us a complimentary birthday deco surprise (with a complimentary special hotel soft towel set)
I took the hotel kind wishes and brought the printed deco banner to all the places we visit too (still in progress. Bhahaha)
Everything is so wonderful at artotel batam. Thanks always 👍

AAzy AbdullahSaw this and it's amenities and felt it was the best for me and my 3 kids. Decided to try this out didn't realize it was further than I'm usually used to.
We arrived in the evening but was greeted by a cheerful receptionist.
Please note there is a 1 mil rupiah deposit. I wasn't prepared for this so I thought to give this a heads up for future booking awareness.
The place was alittle hard to spot from the main road ( there was no signage) but it's landmarks are Cubezone and Ria.
Note, there is a laundry service across the road please expect 1-2 days. Express service is 1 day
The entrance is a dainty little walkway like a secret hideout into a cactus garden that somehow transports you to what looks like Bali crossed with New Mexico feels.
A small but clean pool, well maintained. They have dining table and benches outside for a chill out vibe. There's also a BBQ space where you can engage in their BBQ rental (provides charcoal n pit) with a ceiling fan n sink for your convenience and comfort.
Area is nice and spacious. Once again I just emphasize, they keep it very clean.
The place it seems is 6 container villas surrounding the garden n pool. Which is perfect if you plan to have a big group in.
Inside there's a basic kitchenette with a fridge, pot, kettle.
There were 2 rooms. Both equipped with bathrooms and tvs. Ac was perfection.you don't have to worry about the heat. It's so nice and cold. Makes you wanna just not get out of bed.
The wifi was laggy alittle, didn't bother us as we had local data but it wasn't so nice to be watching a movie and gettin disrupted.
TV is equipped with YOUTUBE and Netflix. Pretty awesome to keep the kids occupied.
Be warned they have live bands that play music till 1-2 am in the morning. Definately didn't expect that but it didn't bother us so much. Once again, another heads up.
Pool is open from 7am to 9pm.
Its also a 15-20mins drive to Nagoya. We normally do Grab roughly about 60-70k.
The host has their number in the welcome print and responds pretty fast if you need to enquire on anything.
Overall, the place is pretty charming and despite it being alittle far from massages n karaoke, I think I found a new go to place. Certainly looking forward to be back.

LLML and travelHo avuto un soggiorno molto piacevole in questo hotel. L'accento della mia esperienza è stato certamente l'eccellente servizio fornito dal personale, soprattutto Dini e Willy. Erano caldi, attenti, e andarono a un miglio di distanza per assicurarsi che tutto fosse comodo.
Sono anche molto contento della stanza era spaziosa, pulita, e ho avuto fortuna di avere una bella vista sul mare, che rendeva il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.
Ciò detto, ci sono alcune aree che potrebbero essere migliorate: il problema principale che ho incontrato è stato il riscaldamento d'acqua. La temperatura era inconsistente dopo averla fissata a un livello confortevole, l'acqua bruscamente si scaldava molto, poi si riversava, e questo ciclo continuava a ripetere ogni pochi secondi. E' stato un doccia molto incomodo e si tratta di una questione che va affrontata.
Un altro punto di riferimento è l'isolamento acustico: il rumore dalla TV e dalla barra del tetto può essere molto alto, soprattutto di notte, che potrebbe non essere adatto per i dormitori leggeri.
In generale, è stata una buona esperienza grazie al personale amichevole e alla comoda camera, ma affrontare la questione del riscaldamento d'acqua e migliorare l'isolamento acustico renderebbe il soggiorno molto migliore.

YYuuJinnThe location is good. It is basically 3 minutes walk to the Batam Grand Mall and surrounding eateries. The service was great too. But when it comes to the hotel, I would rate the amenities/facilities as bad. First, there is no smart tv but a cabled TV with low, bad resolution. The bathroom is not well designed where the whole bathroom is flooded after taking a shower. There is no great separation between the toilet and the shower area. The head shower cannot be adjusted, so good luck on adjusting the temperature without getting burned lol. And the bathroom has no hooks for your clothes, towel. You’re resorted to put your clothes on the toilet bowl lid or the sink area given that it is dry. Then the air-conditioner is not well maintained, something kept trembling and making sounds. Luckily I was exhausted enough to knock me out at night. So whoever thinks that the bad things mentioned above are deal breaker for you, I would suggest choose another. Perhaps an additional $10 would save you. The review is bombed, I would honestly just give this a 2.5/5. Nothing personal just my criticism.

But the location is very superb. About 5-10minutes to the mall and the market. Very convenient
Theres also in room massage. Quite cheap but not that quality
