Was a great location. Tram stop right out front. Didn't use the facilities (pool, sauna, gym) but checked them out. All look good. Unfortunately the pool is outside and not heated. Room was a little smaller than expected from pictures but was perfect for what we needed.

I recently stayed at Ibis Styles Kingsgate in Melbourne for a few nights, and my experience was a mix of positives and disappointments. The hotel is in a great location in the CBD, just a short walk from Southern Cross Station, which made getting there from the airport easy via SkyBus. Trams are also nearby, so getting around the city was no hassle.
The single room I booked was compact but functional. The decor was simple, and the bed was comfortable enough for a budget stay. However, I had some issues with the cleanliness and condition of the furnishings. The room felt a little outdated, and the bed linen had visible wear and tear. Housekeeping was not up to standard, and I even encountered damaged bedding with exposed stuffing, which was quite off-putting. While the staff were friendly when approached, the overall maintenance of the hotel definitely needs improvement.
One of the nicer aspects of the hotel was the common areas. The lounge had a cozy atmosphere, with bookshelves and warm lighting that gave off a heritage-style charm, which was a contrast to the actual room experience. The facilities were basic, but for a budget stay, they were acceptable.
The price was reasonable for a centrally located hotel, but considering the issues with cleanliness and room upkeep, I expected better. It’s an okay option if you’re after an affordable place to stay in the city, but be prepared for some compromises. If they improved their maintenance and housekeeping, it would be a much better value-for-money choice.

Very nice location, close to everything in the heart of the city. Room was small but had alot in it and good view. Was on the 6th floor but there was no protection on the window so safety hazard. Bathroom shower had a hole in wall where a missing vent was, but great shower pressure and awesome hot water.

Ho prenotato questo per i miei genitori perché ho soggiornato lì prima. Avrei consigliato molto questo posto. Tornare all'hotel mi sembra di casa. La camera (più come uno studio o un appartamento) era molto spaziosa e si può trattare come un soggiorno a breve termine, poiché la camera aveva tutto quello che voleva. Puoi guardare la TV, cucinare e anche lavare, tutto all'interno dei limiti del tuo spazio di vita molto spazioso.

Rimango sempre in questo hotel ogni volta che vado a Melbourne, solo perché è più vicino alla stazione di Southern Cross. Caffè e ristoranti sono a soli 5 minuti a piedi, così come Coles a soli 3 minuti a piedi.

This property is very close to everything. Staff are kind & helpful, easy check in & check out. Clean, comfy bed with modern bathroom however the floor quite slippery when wet it needs bathroom rail it's risky & dangerous to fall which is safety & health issues I hope the management will look into this matter. Other than that, my stay was pleasant & consider to stay here again in my future trips. I highly recommend to travellers to stay in this hotel.

Ho messo il libro 2 camere connesse. Uno è il letto di King dimensione gli altri letti gemelli. Le due camere sono molto comode. I letti gemelli sono due letti di dimensione regina che possono ospitare 4 persone. Buona vista su un fiume Yarra e la vecchia stazione lungo il fiume. La posizione è molto conveniente, poiché è collegato a molti ristoranti diversi. Kingpin nel centro commerciale dell'hotel (chieda al personale dell'hotel) è anche consigliato per i viaggiatori con bambini e adolescenti. Molto divertente come i loro videogiochi sono grandi, con la tag laser e bowling.

UUtente ospiteQuesto è un bel ristorante. L'interno è molto pulito e grande. Il letto è comodo e il bagno è buono con i jacuzzi. Vederete cangurosi e cocktail fuori dal cottage in mattina e sera. I miei figli godono molto del soggiorno. Tuttavia, è necessario cucinare i propri pasti o andare a mangiare. La guida è circa 15 minuti.

MMatthew1029I have no specific request to rooms but I just want an early check-in. I think it was Natalie checking me in and she was super nice. She managed to offer me a room and it was close enough to the lifts! Everything was so good. The breakfast was a bit disappointing. However it’s included so still acceptable, 6/10.
Well done to the front desk staffs and housekeeping staff, and whoever cleaned my room, I wanna give credit to them because they even adjust the map on my table to match the direction of the entry door.
Location is super duper brilliant. 1-2 mins walk from Southern Cross Station and seconds to Bourke Street tram. I could easily get access to trams and the Skybus!
Would definitely recommend to stay!

UUtente ospiteÈ un'area eccellente, utile per camminare intorno al CBD, amichevole e utile per il personale.Ha cucina, microonde, lavastoviglie, piastrelle, ... Si sente al sicuro quando si ferma qui.
Inoltre, qui è un posto molto buono per coloro che stanno per prenotare per andare a Mont Buller online, perché è qui che il bus prenderà le persone al mattino.
Ha anche $45 parcheggio per cliente ( altrimenti ho pagato $82 per un altro parcheggio dalle 5 alle 8 pm perché ero rimasto in un altro hotel il primo giorno quando andavo a Mt Buller)

Il bagno era però il più sorprendente, perché era troppo piccolo, anche per me stesso; e vidi che il bagno era piuttosto vicino al bacino, così ho cercato di sedermi sul bagno e non potevo farlo fisicamente perché il bacino era sulla strada delle gambe. Ho dovuto camminare a piedi verso la doccia per usarla, e l'acqua sparava molto velocemente sul muro, quindi il doccia era difficile. C'è anche un ascensore che è attualmente fuori servizio e le perle sono da riparare, ma il segno per l'altro ascensore non sembra essere installato correttamente.
Questo è del tutto deludente per un hotel Best Western e il costo scontato di $90 era ancora troppo da pagare per quello che ho ricevuto. Potrei tollerare di pagare $60 - $70 per notte per una stanza come quella (a prezzo regolare) solo per la posizione e letteralmente niente di più, ma non vale il costo regolare di ben oltre $100 per notte e ci sono hotel meno costosi vicina, che forniscono camere più grandi e migliori.

SShi TingMy girl loves this hotel as the location is just perfect. It's conveniently situated within the free tram zone, giving you the option to easily hop on a tram whenever you're tired of walking. There are convenient shops, restaurants and cafes within walking distance, and even a few fast food options nearby when you return late from tours - which is particularly helpful since most restaurants close quite early in the area.

KKarinaCannot fault the staff however the amenities need overhaul. The rooms TV didn’t work was advised couldn’t be fixed until the following day. Went to use hairdryer to find out no power points on that side of room were working. Again advised cant be fixed straight away. Had to use TV as a mirror for blow drying hair! Then we continued to get calls after 10pm from reception checking if everything was alright despite being told it cannot be fixed. Really disappointing. On a positive to GM and receptionist Cheryl were outstanding in trying to assist and did remove some charges.

Check-in: easy and fast. The man on reception is friendly and organised, just a lovely receptionist. There is a bond of $200; be organised and you’ll save your time and the receptionist’s time. You can pay the bond in cash.
Parking: great, BUT there are some permanents living there and so you might want to park away from them… you will see immediately where you should not park :) clean parking area. Seemed organised.
Room: very clean, comfortable. There are no knives, forks or plates, but there is a kettle and a microwave. Teas coffees, etc. six milk pods, so maybe bring milk if you need more. Really make sure that you close the door properly or it will seem shut, but not actually be shut and will open :) Good curtains in the room that block out the light from outside. I noticed a fair amount of security cameras outside on the walkway, which was reassuring. Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed is firm, but I liked it.
Would or wouldn’t stay again? Unfortunately, no, not while they are acting as ‘crisis accommodation’. The staff and room were great, but there are some undesirables living there who kept us awake all night. Not exaggerating when I say, did not sleep AT ALL. We were up and down to check on the car - the permanents were screaming, fighting - some real Jerry Springer stuff. I was upstairs and the people next to me had a dog that barked all night, in addition to the couple screaming at each other :/ Downstairs, fighting, screaming constantly. it sounded like something got broken downstairs. A guy on a motorbike kept coming and going, visiting the permanents downstairs and talking super loudly, then more yelling and fighting after he tore off on his bike. I didn’t feel safe; I expected the car to get damaged. I realise those people’s behaviour is not the motel’s fault, but I was so tired the next day that I got a migraine and yeah, still fending it off now, day after. Not impressed with those feral permanents. It’s a shame because the staff and rooms are great

Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole e andò oltre e sopra per rendere la nostra permanenza piacevole. Le camere erano pulite e confortevoli. Sono certa che tornerò!

TTaralesleyWe had an amazing stay at Quest Flemington Central.
Our room was clean, comfortable and well presented.
The kitchen was packed with a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and all plates, bowls, cups or cutlery we could need.
Washer and dryer as well as a balcony, it really was a lovely room, we were very happy!
The pool was heated and the roof top view was gorgeous, it was very relaxing and great for a morning or late night dip. Staff were very respectful and accommodating.
