"The hotel is super convenient. It is in the centre of Bourke street. A lots of shopping, eateries and grocers within 10m walk. Unbelievable. Only set back, they don’t have a washing machine in the apartment. The view from the apartment is good. I stay on a very high floor.
The apartment is clean but a bit outdated. Overall, I will return to stay again"

"I stayed at 3 hotels all near Flagstaff stations for this trip, just to try something new and compare. Excellent location and the Flagstaff garden is at the opposite. The Pegasus has a real kitchen and utensils since it's an apartment hotel. No view at all but it's ok for a night's stay. The bed is so soft but so as the Radisson and the Jazz hotel so I guess it's the standard?.. Staffs had reasonable service, but I overheard the guest in front of me checked out 30mins later than he should and the staff were not happy about it at all, like teacher talking to a misbehaved student. Overall it's price for money."

"The location is fantastic, located by the Darling Harbour, you can reach the Aquarium and Darling Harbour within 3-5 minutes. You can also access Sydney CBD (QVB etc.) easily.
For the staff, they are super friendly and helpful. Despite I didn’t request a daily room cleaning service, they tidied my room every day. If you don’t want to have such service, you can definitely require not to too.
The view of my room is amazing, you can enjoy the view of Darling Harbour. And one more thing which I found quite important is that the room has a perfect soundproof. Since it’s winter in August, it’s quite cold in Sydney. The lobby has very warm temperature and cozy vibe. However, the room’s air conditioning didn’t provide a warm temperature that I satisfied, the room temperature remains between 18-20 °C during our stay, it would be perfect if it’s like 23-25 °C. And this was the only down side I can think of, other than that, I had a perfect stay!"

"The hotel is very new and located right in the heart of the city — an excellent location. Security is good, and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. The room is spacious and features a sustainable design, though no toothbrushes are provided.
However, the management could use some improvement. We noticed that the body wash had run out but wasn’t refilled during our stay. Upon checkout, the staff called to say I had checked out a day early, which was confusing since I had already completed the checkout process. We had to return to the hotel to resolve the issue, which turned out to be a mix-up with another guest’s record"

"Overall I had a great stay! My room was pretty cozy and the location was conveniently close to trams and Souther Cross Station.
Amenities in the room were excellent (kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, heater, ironing board). Maybe bring your own slippers in winter as the tiled floor was very cold in the morning.
Quite a few obvious wear and tear but overall still decently clean. The only thing that bothered me was one of the kitchen utensils was still dirty.
If you are a light sleeper you would need earplugs as it’s quite noisy from the trains and trams passing by. Personally i enjoyed the background noise.
I enjoyed my night ins in the room with access to the TV and to be able to cook / heat up food.
Staff at the reception were all very lovely and welcoming.
I would stay here again :)"

"Stayed at Ibis Kingsgate for two weeks as I was here to celebrate my birthday. It is my second time staying here; I also came here last year for two weeks and for my birthday!
The hotel is located within a good and safe area - which is great for solo travellers such as myself.
I’ve seen families at this hotel too.
Ibis Kingsgate is within the free tram zone (you can take the 86 or 96), with access to many amenities nearby such as Coles, Woolies, Southern Cross Station (great for when you have to catch the SkyBus), My Chemist, and a range of food and cafe options.
Located at the cross junction of King and Bourke St, the hotel is also walking distance to other popular streets such Elizabeth, Queen, Williams, Colins, Lonsdale, La Trobe, and more! Flinders is nearby too, and you can just cut across to Southbank as well! In fact, you can even walk to Lygon, Docklands or even as far as Collingwood, which I did!
If walking is not your thing, there are also many options for trams, trains, and buses near this hotel.
Room is adequate and clean, with a nice range of television channels. There’s a fridge, kettle and tea/coffee which is occasionally refilled. Bathroom is good too; sufficient and spacious enough, and for some - there’s even a window in the bathroom!
The hotel staff are nice and it’s always great to be back. Thank you for the room upgrade, it made my trip even more special. I returned the gesture by keeping the room as clean and tidy as possible. ;p

"Domenica amatoriale. Ho scritto un'e-mail il giorno prima dell'arrivo per chiedere l'ubicazione del parcheggio. Nessuna risposta ricevuta. Siamo arrivati e abbiamo fatto il check-in. Abbiamo dato le carte in camera. Sono salito, la porta non si apriva, sono tornato alla scrivania, l'ho cambiato e mi è stato consigliato di ripararlo. Sono salito di nuovo, la porta non si apriva. Sono tornato giù e ho chiesto a mia moglie di venire giù. Ho sbattuto le carte sul bancone e mi hanno consigliato di procurarmi una stanza in cui le chiavi di accesso funzionano effettivamente. Ci siamo seduti. Dopo 15 minuti ho avvisato che la vita era troppo breve per mangiare per loro. Dovevamo pranzare e saremmo tornati tra 30 minuti. Se non risolto entro allora, sarà l'ora del Manager. Sono tornato, nuove carte, nuova stanza ed eravamo dentro, Avanti, password Wi Fi. È in TV, no, non lo era. Torno alla scrivania che l'ha scritto, lo ha scritto, non andare. Tornati alla scrivania ancora una volta, inseriscono la password Wi-Fi. Questo è stato fatto domenica. Lunedi. La signora alla reception si è scusata e ci ha dato l'aggiunta pomeridiana al parcheggio che ci ha evitato di correre in giro e ci ha permesso di pranzare prima di partire da Mel CBD. Ottima posizione, personale amatoriale in servizio la domenica."

UUtente ospiteInizialmente abbiamo prenotato solo due notti al Grand Hyatt Melbourne, ma il servizio eccellente che abbiamo ricevuto ci ha fatto estendere il nostro soggiorno, e sono così felice di averlo fatto. Il livello di attenzione e di vera cura mostrato dal personale ha davvero elevato la nostra esperienza.
Un momento che si è reso evidente era durante il colazione, e mio marito chiese a un membro del personale della sezione pasticceria se le cose erano halal. Lei gli l'ha spiegato con cortesia, e per la nostra sorpresa, circa 15 minuti dopo, il direttore aggiunto del ristorante, il signor Albert, è venuto personalmente a tavola. Ha preso il tempo di spiegare le opzioni halal disponibili e ci ha anche assicurato che le uova potessero essere preparate con strumenti separati.
Mentre mi ero fatta del pane, il signor Albert si accorse e venne di nuovo, chiedendo gentilmente se mi piacesse preparare le mie uova. Immediatamente mi ha ordinato al cuoco di preparare uova e nocciole per me e mi ha detto di sedermi confortevolmente mentre ha organizzato tutto per essere portato via.
La sua attenzione e il suo servizio proattivo lasciano una persistente impressione. E' raro vedere un'iniziativa e un'attenzione così, e mi ha fatto sentire fiducia nel fatto che avessi scelto il giusto hotel.
Concordo con la famiglia e gli amici di Grand Hyatt Melbourne.L'hotel è fortunato a avere un membro del personale come il signor Alberte merita davvero il riconoscimento per la sua ospitalità eccellente.

RRina MariniLa posizione è buona. Ci sono posti di lavoro, caffè e centro commerciale vicino. Non lontano da Chinatown. Controllare e controllare era veloce ed efficiente. La stanza è pulita e comoda.

CClarrence LeoWe are a family of 5 adult and 1 infant, and we booked 2 rooms separately. We primarily chose this hotel because of the good location next to the domestic terminal and a not-so-expensive price point (compared to Parkroyal which was directly opposite the hotel). The rooms were decently-sized, nothing too luxurious as it catered mainly to travellers transferring in the airport. The hotel had a massive gym, which was surprisingly given that it was mostly empty but they had all kinds of equipment catering to all body parts. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was OK. Not the best food, but at least it filled out stomachs with the standard spread of Western food - fruits, bread, eggs and bacons etc. All in all, would recommend this hotel if you are transitioning at Melbourne for a night and looking for an affordable yet not too shabby place to sleep!

UUtente ospiteLa posizione è perfetta. Molti cibi e negozi intorno. Grande vista. La stanza era pulita e il personale era sorprendente. Due delle finestre e il tappeto del ghiaccio erano rotti. Altrimenti era grande.
A proposito, sto ancora aspettando il deposito pre-autorizzato. Leggi alcune recensioni che possono essere difficili o richiedere molto per ottenere il ritorno, spero che non sarà questo il caso, perché voglio davvero prenotare questo hotel di nuovo.

UUtente ospiteMade a mistake with getting breakfast.. stale bread, coffee machine was broken, food was bland. Only good thing was the chia pudding and juice selection. Staff service was inadequate and makes you feel ignored.
Room was clean but pretty sure the bathtub was not cleaned from previous usage as there was soap scum/dirt on the sides. And no body soap.

YYew Siong TanNovotel Melbourne on Collins was a fantastic base for our family trip! The location truly is perfect – having multiple free city tram stops within 100 meters made exploring effortless. We easily walked to major spots like Flinders Street Station and the stunning State Library Victoria. Food options were plentiful nearby, making ”food hunting” a breeze.
A major plus for us was the onsite parking. Renting a car was stress-free knowing we had a guaranteed, convenient spot each night (parking fee applicable, refer to hotel front desk).
The room was impressively spacious, comfortably accommodating our family of two adults and a kid. Having two queen-size beds was ideal – everyone had plenty of room to sleep well.
**Things that could elevate the experience further:**
1. Breakfast Variety: While the breakfast was good, a wider selection of hot and cold options would be appreciated, especially for a longer stay.
2. TV Upgrade: The current TV channel is very limited. Upgrading to Smart TVs with access to streaming platforms like Netflix and YouTube would be a huge improvement for in-room entertainment, especially for families with young kids / toddler.
3. Shaving Kit Quality:The provided shaving kit's ”cream” (which was a soap) and blade weren't great. Offering a slightly higher quality kit with proper shaving cream would be a noticeable touch.
**Overall:** We had a very comfortable and convenient stay thanks to the unbeatable location, easy parking, and spacious family room. Addressing the breakfast variety, TV upgrade, and shaving kit quality would easily push this towards a perfect 5-star experience. Highly recommended, especially for families needing space and city access.

BBec143I’ve stayed at numerous at the Punt Hill apartments over the past decade, though it had been a while since I last stayed in one.
Our one bedroom apartment was spacious, however the hotel is quite run down now.
Walls in the bathroom weren’t very clean, neither were mugs and cutlery (I always make a habit of cleaning things before I use them!).
I ended up staying mostly in the hotel as I was sick with the flu so I noticed the wifi was very glitchy and intermittent too so it made streaming shows quite difficult to watch that I ended up just using my phone.
The beds were comfortable though!
The location is actually fantastic too, right in the heart of China town and easily walkable to places.

UUtente ospiteLocation: Can be tricky to find the first time as you need to turn onto Cyril Street. Look across the road for the white building with red writing.
Check-in: easy and fast. The man on reception is friendly and organised, just a lovely receptionist. There is a bond of $200; be organised and you’ll save your time and the receptionist’s time. You can pay the bond in cash.
Parking: great, BUT there are some permanents living there and so you might want to park away from them… you will see immediately where you should not park :) clean parking area. Seemed organised.
Room: very clean, comfortable. There are no knives, forks or plates, but there is a kettle and a microwave. Teas coffees, etc. six milk pods, so maybe bring milk if you need more. Really make sure that you close the door properly or it will seem shut, but not actually be shut and will open :) Good curtains in the room that block out the light from outside. I noticed a fair amount of security cameras outside on the walkway, which was reassuring. Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed is firm, but I liked it.
Would or wouldn’t stay again? Unfortunately, no, not while they are acting as ‘crisis accommodation’. The staff and room were great, but there are some undesirables living there who kept us awake all night. Not exaggerating when I say, did not sleep AT ALL. We were up and down to check on the car - the permanents were screaming, fighting - some real Jerry Springer stuff. I was upstairs and the people next to me had a dog that barked all night, in addition to the couple screaming at each other :/ Downstairs, fighting, screaming constantly. it sounded like something got broken downstairs. A guy on a motorbike kept coming and going, visiting the permanents downstairs and talking super loudly, then more yelling and fighting after he tore off on his bike. I didn’t feel safe; I expected the car to get damaged. I realise those people’s behaviour is not the motel’s fault, but I was so tired the next day that I got a migraine and yeah, still fending it off now, day after. Not impressed with those feral permanents. It’s a shame because the staff and rooms are great

The one bedroom apartment was huge. Plenty of room with an equally huge balcony.
The place was clean, apart from one of the towels that had some type of hard black stain that stick do towels to it’s self. Not ideal, but this would be an issue with the laundry company that Quest use.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend.
