It was an amazing stay and exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Firstly, we got a free room upgrade with a better view of mountains and closer to the animals. The room is also really comfortable, they provided us oxygen machine, humidifier, floor heating etc. We still felt a bit cold despite the heating, so the staff even brought a portable heater for us. We arrived at the hotel after the afternoon tea time had ended but we could still order drinks, which were very delicious!! We were also served with fruits and snacks on arrival. The hotel also provided Muslim friendly breakfasts for us! We booked an appointment for the tibeten clothing and photography, which were so beautiful! Especially so with the Napahai Grassland and the animals in the background!!
The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything that we needed. The hotel provided Airport/Train Station transfers and the staffs helped carry all ourluggages to the train station. We were also given snacks for us to enjoy during our train ride. It was really thoughtful, and the snacks were delicious!
It is truly an amazing and one of a kind stay!! This is by far the best hotel I have stayed in Yunnan 👍

We truly truly enjoyed our stay here. The view, the animals, the staff, everything was great. We had to get used to the climate but after 1 night, everything is well! We're Muslims and the hotel prepared a vegetarian breakfast for us. The hotel also prepared us tea time, evening special drink sent to our rooms. It was really enjoyable. They were not stingy as well. Sent us to the nearest farm for horseriding experience, gave us goody bag when we checked out. We even had a free photoshoot, complete with traditional costumes! The hotel is about 20mins away from dukezong town, I think it's ok! I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Il bagno è spazioso, ma ci sono svantaggi. Il pavimento della tela è molto slipperoso. I punti della doccia e del bagno sono vicini l'uno all'altro. Il pavimento della doccia non è fatto in due livelli per impedire che i pavimenti bagnati uscissero dalla zona della doccia.
L'ambiente intorno all'hotel è molto buono. Trovare cibo da mangiare mattina è vicino all'hotel. Passeggiare nella città antica per circa 1 km. Basta per esercitare.

This place is definitely one of my best stays! Amazing view, super friendly and helpful host, great room and the smart toilet even come with a built in bidet (somewhat rare in China). We extended our stay as we really liked the place!
The host offered to pick us up and send us back to the railway station for free. Communication is easy via Wechat. She even offered us breakfast throughout our stay (corns milk since the rest of the food is not halal).
The place is around 20 mins from Dukezong Ancient Town and railway station, but didi is available. This place is really suitable for those looking to relax while enjoying amazing view overlooking hills, and the famous Napahai Lake.
It was our luck that we came here when it was snowy, but this place is beautiful even during other season.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno molto piacevole al Ganlo Inn. Si tratta di un B&B a conduzione familiare molto amichevole con un'atmosfera casalinga. Hanno fornito un servizio eccellente di prima qualità dal nostro arrivo alla partenza. La camera era pulita e la più spaziosa durante il nostro intero viaggio di 8 giorni nello Yunnan. Il riscaldamento era buono sia nella camera che nel bagno. Servono anche un caffè aromatico da bar. La posizione è ideale, non troppo inaccessibile dall'ingresso della città vecchia ma comunque molto comoda e vicina a tutti i ristoranti e le attrazioni. Altamente consigliato a chiunque voglia soggiornare nella città vecchia di Shangrila a un prezzo ragionevole e con un'esperienza fantastica.

This hotel truly exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by its cleanliness and the warm, friendly atmosphere created by the staff. The service is nothing short of excellent—they even offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to the train station, which made our journey so much easier.
The hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The room is spacious, with a big TV screen and a cozy sofa for relaxation. The thoughtful amenities include a heated floor and bed, which were perfect for the cold weather. Even the toilet seat has a heater and a bidet, making it incredibly convenient and comfortable. They also provide additional oxygen in the room—a great touch, especially for those who might feel the effects of high altitude.
The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking! Imagine waking up to stunning mountain scenery, lush green grasslands, and sheep grazing peacefully—it’s like a dream come true. To make our stay even more special, they upgraded our room for free to one with a luxurious bathtub!
For Muslim travelers, this hotel is incredibly accommodating—they provided us with a delicious vegetarian breakfast, so we felt completely at ease. However, please be mindful when sitting on the sofas as their adorable, friendly dog loves to sit there too and might come to greet you. Their dog is super cute and playful, adding a warm and homey touch to the stay!
One of the most delightful surprises was that the hotel provides traditional Chinese costumes for free! We had so much fun dressing up and taking beautiful photos. It made us feel like royalty from an ancient Chinese dynasty—truly a unique and unforgettable experience.
Despite the language barrier, the staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs. They went above and beyond to assist us, offering suggestions, pinpointing locations, and ensuring we had everything we needed. A big thumbs up to the staff member whose picture I shared (unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name). The hotel owner should truly give her credit for her exceptional service—it made our stay even more memorable!
This hotel is located near the stunning Napahai Lake, not Dukezong Ancient City. If you’re planning to stay close to Dukezong, this might not be the best choice. But trust me, you don’t need to stay near Dukezong—this hotel is so good, it’s worth being a little further away. The peaceful surroundings, incredible service, and top-notch amenities make it more than worth it!
Another fantastic perk is the nearby e-bike rental. We rented bikes and had an amazing time exploring the beautiful Napahai area and enjoying the serene countryside.
I highly recommend this hotel, especially for travelers from Malaysia. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Trust me, you won’t regret staying here—it’s a memory you’ll cherish forever!

Il servizio era eccezionale dal momento in cui siamo arrivati, il personale era incredibilmente amichevole e attento, assicurando che ogni dettaglio fosse perfetto, mi aiutarono ad organizzare la sorpresa, che rendeva la proposta insensata e magica.

MMeor RamleeL'hotel ha una delle migliori natura e vista sulla montagna! il suo rinfrescante e tranquillo. La stanza è spaziale, il bagno è auto con bidet d'acqua, c'è un tubo nella stanza e c'è un proiettore che uso per collegare al mio telefono e giocare la mia playlist.
Il proprietario dell'hotel è molto entusiasta e utile con tutto. ci ha aiutato a prendere e a mandarci indietro alla stazione di treno, ha anche regolato il menu del colazione al vegetariano per il musulmano, ha risposto a tutte le nostre domande e ha sempre aspettato che l'ospite tornasse in sicurezza. per la notte.

帕納海那邊是比較荒 但是住宿隔壁就有小賣部 走兩步還有馬場 玩起來還是很方便的 住宿裏面也帶咖啡館可以點正餐和小食
住宿環境很好 配的早餐也很豐富蘿蔔乾好好吃啊…
房間很大特別好 有洗烘一體的洗衣機還有洗衣凝珠 投影幕布看爽了…搞的我們都不想出門玩了就想在房間裏窩着🥺 巨大的落地窗確實很適合看風景啊啊啊 還會有牛雞馬羊隨機路過…
老闆娘很細心 知道我們要去雪山玩提前給了我們更便宜的氧
走的時候老闆娘還送了小零食 下次來香格里拉玩還住這裏🥺

FFlorence TF LeeI am a frequent traveler internationally. It is clear to me that this hotel owner has excellent standards. From minute details like toiletries, the fluffy bedroom slippers, the luxurious towels & bathrobes, to the fine cotton bed linens, I dare say they are a 6-star quality boutique hotel. The staff is friendly & accomodative. There is also batista coffee at breakfast. Location wise, it is so convenient! 3min walk to the Dukezhong bell. I highly recommend this boutique hotel.

AAndy YxyzWe have gotten the suite, which comprised a king sized and queen sized beds. The room was spacious equipped with advanced tech such as xiaomi (akin to Siri/Google assistant) to control lighting and curtains.
It’s a pity that the room comes with only one toilet and one bathing area though a jacuzzi is also available along the two connecting rooms. Room was clean and pillow was fluffy.
Service was reasonable as we extended our stay. The hotel team helped to carry our luggage to the another room. Though the website did state complimentary transit services from hotel to station and vice versa, it was not offered to us. But during arrival, because our cab took us to the wrong hotel, they took effort to pick us from the wrong hotel to the right hotel.
Of course, its pet dog is a magnet to customer.
Overall, the stay was pleasant and I recommend to potential customers coming to ShangriLa.

SSnoopy KBest-in-class hotel. Enjoyed a free upgrade to better room with a scenic view. We were also given late check out and a free ride to the train station. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. Our driver James Zhou is a young, friendly and helpful guy who shared tips on trekking.

MMarkGreat hotel on the top of a hill looking across the town. The room was spacious with views, the bathroom area large. The staff were helpful when approached and always smiling.
The walk to the hotel is challenging at night when the air is damp. We purchased some oxygen from the grumpy man's shop at the bottom of the hill, which eased the walk. The staff assisted carrying our bags up and down the hill whenever required, which was great.
Unfortunately, they didn't clean our room during our 3 night stay, which meant we had to ask for toilet paper each day, and the toilet bin never got emptied.
